It didn’t sell because…. the prick dealers were adding a mark-up. I was trying to buy one, since ‘22, and I was willing to pay MSRP (but dealers wouldn’t budge on mark-up). Finally found a used ‘23 w/ 150mi and bought it. It’s a great bike, doesn’t feel ultra heavy and I have a ZX-4 also. I won’t own another Beemer, endless problems. BTW - Insurance on the H2-SX is cheaper, than the ZX-4.
That is true. I think a combination of Covid price hiking practices and the optimism dealers had for this bike played into that. However now I think is the best time to get these bikes (especially a leftover new like this!) because you get a great deal.
Interesting! So much fancy car tech on a bike. I love adaptive cruise control for commuting in my car, but don’t know if I would want it on a motorcycle 🤷♀️
Too expensive for the average person, factor in insurance, size and weight that bike is not in demand. Riders with deep pockets would probably shop BMW.
True, it is very expensive. But to put this into perspective, for every Kawasaki sold, Harley Davidson sells 3 bikes. Harleys generally are less reliable, as expensive, AND have no features or power. Insurance on a Harley is far more expensive too. (I own a Kawasaki H2 and it costs $31/month to fully cover it through State Farm). I don’t think it’s only the price that’s playing into this lack of interest. There has to he something else I’m not seeing.
Finally! Dream bike!

That’s an interesting point. What if the radar cruise control applies the brakes when you are leaned into a turn?!🤔
