    It's so refreshing to hear balanced discussions which actually consider price. Not like the drivel from British testers. Keep up the great work chaps

    The H2sx se, just feels and looks more quality, plus the supercharger and all the tech makes it a easy choice and was the reason i bought one

    I've ridden the 1000SX and it's a really great bike for the money. I was a bit disappointed by the electronics and the display. Suspension and cornering is great. Also the engine is great. Finally I chose the bmw S1000XR that's just a more premium bike

      @@SOLOMOTOUK funny enough, there are days when I think I should have gone for black and red 😂. We could have done a straight swap. Very good summary I own a Z1000SX, I think 235kg is enough weight anyway, I wouldn’t want any more, as I’m 73 old , I wish Kawasaki would do a three position seat height adjustment to lower the seat Just like the Honda CB1000A7 i used to ride

    Man that’s a hard decision to make! Either one of these bikes could be amazing! The one problem I have with the 1000Sx is its weight and side and it’s a much bigger problem with the H2. I’ll stick with the 1000sx for a few years until more upgrades come to both bikes.

    I disagree with the naked comparison for the 1000sx.
    It's frame is derived from a zx10r as is its engine.
    I own one that's got every single ad on youcan imagine. (Glad I don't live in Switzerland😂). It's quite a nice bike.

  • @apox5308
    @apox5308 Місяць тому +5

    I owned both bikes and agree completely with the review. They are both very different bikes and there are bits from the 1000sx that I miss when riding the H2 SX like the simplicity of the engine, lighter handling, analogue feel, ability to use all the power most of the time, but the H2 SX when on the move is like an experience on another level and that won it over for me in the end. When you get to 8k on the H2 is literally leaves the 1000sx for dead and it takes a while to adjust to. It’s so fast that you physically can’t use full throttle until you’ve planned ahead and really got yourself ready for it. The handling in the H2 is very good considering its size and weight you can lean and handle it quite close in comparison to the 1000sx. As a touring machine the H2 SX is better all rounder

    Both are great bikes and either would be a great choice but the H2 SX SE can do things the 1000SX can only dream of. Yes the H2 SX SE is more expensive but you only live once and what is money for if not to buy the better things in life. I had a new H2 SX SE in 2019 and have just taken delivery of a '24 H2 SX SE. There really is nothing else that gets close to delivering what that bike delivers.

    I purchased the 1000sx not long ago at all. I saw it as a 4 cylinder naked bike with a little wind protection. Having owned the gsxs1000f and zx14r (owned both at the same time) this is the perfect medium. I absolutely love it! Better than my Suzi purely down to the throttle smoothness. Better than the 14r down to comfort. Slower than both, but still way too fast for me and the road. My narrowed down list when searching was (considering I wanted to add a 4 cylinder bike to my collection) 1000sx, gsxs1000 and ninja400zzr. Even though the 1000sx cost more and wasn’t as fun which and maybe lacks character, it really has everything. I got the exhaust, luggage and heated grips. Now it’s perfect for all road occasions. Weekend, daily commute and touring. The suspension is just wow for all three things. Much more forgiving on rough roads than the other 2, while still smashing my expectations in the corners. It is a special bike. The only thing to some is it may lack character when compared to other bikes. The bike also looks much better in real life.
    I personally would never use the power of the H2 on the street nor would I ever pay the price. But I would really love to experience it. Yes, I’m jealous of all you people who have. The same story for anything that isn’t Japanese which limits the bike that I’ve owned, but that’s what I stubbornly value.
