I purchased the 1000sx not long ago at all. I saw it as a 4 cylinder naked bike with a little wind protection. Having owned the gsxs1000f and zx14r (owned both at the same time) this is the perfect medium. I absolutely love it! Better than my Suzi purely down to the throttle smoothness. Better than the 14r down to comfort. Slower than both, but still way too fast for me and the road. My narrowed down list when searching was (considering I wanted to add a 4 cylinder bike to my collection) 1000sx, gsxs1000 and ninja400zzr. Even though the 1000sx cost more and wasn’t as fun which and maybe lacks character, it really has everything. I got the exhaust, luggage and heated grips. Now it’s perfect for all road occasions. Weekend, daily commute and touring. The suspension is just wow for all three things. Much more forgiving on rough roads than the other 2, while still smashing my expectations in the corners. It is a special bike. The only thing to some is it may lack character when compared to other bikes. The bike also looks much better in real life. I personally would never use the power of the H2 on the street nor would I ever pay the price. But I would really love to experience it. Yes, I’m jealous of all you people who have. The same story for anything that isn’t Japanese which limits the bike that I’ve owned, but that’s what I stubbornly value.
I owned both bikes and agree completely with the review. They are both very different bikes and there are bits from the 1000sx that I miss when riding the H2 SX like the simplicity of the engine, lighter handling, analogue feel, ability to use all the power most of the time, but the H2 SX when on the move is like an experience on another level and that won it over for me in the end. When you get to 8k on the H2 is literally leaves the 1000sx for dead and it takes a while to adjust to. It’s so fast that you physically can’t use full throttle until you’ve planned ahead and really got yourself ready for it. The handling in the H2 is very good considering its size and weight you can lean and handle it quite close in comparison to the 1000sx. As a touring machine the H2 SX is better all rounder
I've owned a 2012 Ninja 1000 SX and I currently own a 2021 Z H2. I can say without a doubt for an everyday bike the 1000 SX can't be beat. Still one of if not my favorite bike I've ever owned and I've had a lot. Been riding since 1992. My Z H2 doesn't have the body work or the radar of the H2 SX but with a ECU tune, exhaust, and air filter, the H2 family is unbeatable for fun. My bike currently has 227 hp at the wheel with 101 ft./lbs of torque. Side note for those interested in the H2 SX there is currently no ECU flash available for the 2022 and newer. So if you want one and wish to tune it you will need to find a 2018-2021 H2 SX.

@@davidhollman34 Z H2 is not as comfy and no wind protection. The H2 SX would be an upgrade but may feel too big compared to the Ninja 1000. Interesting and very well done dub over in English.
Great review. However, you needed to include the gsx1000gt.
Why? This is obviously a review between 2 Kawasaki models. 🤔
@@MrWhiteTank I think it would've been interesting, that's all, (I have a feeling that Suzuki is stealing a lot of Ninja 1000 sales....).
@@MrKamechan I believe there is a video were they do compare the Kawasaki and Suzuki. They ended up choosing Kawasaki as the better choice
@@MrWhiteTank Yes, I believe MCN chose the Ninja over the Suzuki as well. But from what I see locally, the GT is more popular. I've seen a few on the road ... but I've never seen a Ninja
They are both wrong. One example of their wrong`s is the Concours 14, it by spec`s, fit`s squarely into the Ninja Category, but it does not bear the Ninja Badge!
Prost. Team Green.

The Ninja name argument is stupid. That's a nerd argument for die hard fanboys. Most people don't actually give a damn if ninja is in the name or not.
This guy is silly. That SX is more "Ninja" than many of the Ninjas in yesrs past.
With any of these Kwakis you're absolutely torturing yourself in Switzerland (without racing circuits) as well as on Swiss roads 🤷
Are they that strict?!? What a bunch of ....ies

Too funny, his voice isn’t matching what he’s saying and his head doesn’t match his body. This guy looks like a toy story cartoon.
