Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (1991-1992) Kill Count

- This is a kill count of one of my favourite Gundam animes (in UC, not my top favourite) and one of the best animated Gundams, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, which was a OVA that aired from 1991 to 1992, was directed by Mitsuko Kase (from episode 1 to 7) and Takashi Imanishi (from episode 8 to 13), and was distributed by Bandai Namco Filmworks
This may be graphic for viewers and will contain spoilers, so be aware
In case you’re wondering, I got the numbers for Operation Stardust based on the population of North America in Gundam during early UC, and also it’s population in the real world in 1983 (since Stardust Memory takes place in UC 0083)
Also I’m aware Operation British (the colony drop that killed most of Earth’s population) is shown in a flashback prologue, but I plan to count that in Gundam Origin since the full scene and context is shown
Even though we can only make educated guesses, I would never have thought that the numbers would have jumped to the millions.
@@branislavanenadovic3171 I already explained with Char’s Counterattack, and I made a community post explaining Victory Gundam. I’ll be back, I’m just having issues with my recording
@@branislavanenadovic3171 idk man, it will come when it comes, my editing session has been messing up and I’ve been dealing with data files and it’s a lot rn, so please just wait a little more
Correction: Operation British did not kill most population on Earth, but only a few millions due being a single impact.
If this is how much 0083 lost, the kill count during Zeta and ZZ must've been at least 75% higher than that.
When I made a spreadsheet and video for every character kill a little while back, Gatos nuke was the hardest part for me too. I had to take quotes from Federation officers and compare them to wide shots of the surviving fleet.
But it put him in the top 10 if all Gundam characters
Same. That’s what I dreaded most when doing this count
Gato I think has the largest body count in Gundam.
3:59 another reason why Gato get nickname Nightmare of Solomon
By the way the minutes 3:59....
what a coincidence with bloodiest battle in Star Trek.... the battle of Wolf 359
god we really need more new kits from this show
Actually one of my fav Gundam series aside from maybe MS Team and Turn A. The animation goes legit crazy
Missed more than a few kills =
Ep. 2 = GM Kai killed by Gaily with a sturmfaust, Gaily's Dom killed offscreen, wrecked Powered GM that Nina almost drives into, the entire Kalent platoon (4 x GM Kai), Xamel killed by Burning'
Ep. 4 = Core fighter shot down by Zaku, Dom Tropen killed by Bait, Zaku II probably killed by Keith
Ep. 5 = Salamis Kai exploded by Lily Marleen's main battery.
Ep. 7 = Kult's Zaku II rammed by Kelly.
Ep. 8 = 2 x Gelgoog Marines killed by Burning, Burning's death by battle damage from Cima.
Ep. 9 = Zaku II skewered by Adel.
Ep. 12 = 2 x Zaku II & 1 x Rick Dom II killed by Dendrobium micromissiles, Zaku II commander type killed by Dendrobium heavy missile, wrecked Delaz fleet MS in the aftermath of the raid on Albion.
My bad for all of that 😅
Gato really killed half a mil 😮
God, the animation in this one is so crisp for a 80s anime! This must be one of the best ones
0083 came out in 1991 but still crisp even for the 90s.
Bask Om is truly psychopath on this
Ninja dom always hitting like that
5:06 I think you're think of the Albion's captain. According to the wiki John Cowen was stripped of his rank and expelled from the military.
Ohhh I must’ve mixed it up during editing
Up Next: Victory Gundam Kill Count
And they'll said Federation is Hero Faction
I would say it is protagonist faction . I do agree with your opinion tho .
You forgot to count the guy being carried at 1:21 still good KC tho. This Gundam easily has the best animations, and almost the most underrated main Gundam, Zephyranthes (which didn’t even make it into Build Fighters and need a new damn model kit)
(You also forget the battleship destroyed in the background at 4:57, which I don’t blame you for since it’s pretty easy to miss in the explosion)
Also at 6:29 you forgot another in the background, and you forgot to count South and Cima (I’m replying this cuz my edit is glitched)
@@angryboi595 my bad on that. Also while I did forget South, I did count Cima, she was in the final battleship that Anavel crashed his Mobile Armor into (last kill before the guy on the desk). And yes, Zephyranthes gets unnecessary hate
3:35 3:44 I'm pretty sure the gunsats don't count. They were automated after all.
My bad, I was kinda so focused on the Atomic Bazooka scene that I kinda forgot this fact
Technically didn't Gihren count as a kill when Delaz let Gato know that he had been killed? Or is that just on screen deaths?
It doesn’t count not only because it’s not onscreen, but because Gihren’s death was already counted in the second part of my kill count of the 79 Gundam series
no CCA?
I already explained why I couldn’t do that in the pinned comment of my last video, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War In The Pocket Kill Count. In short, it got copyrighted
@@somerandomdogontheinternet1338 that sucks
