- This is a kill count of the worse sequel to Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, the black sheep of the franchise if you will, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, which aired from 1986 to 1987, was directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino and distributed by Bandai Namco Filmworks
This may be graphic for viewers and will contain spoilers so be aware
The only Gundam series, aside from SEED, I genuinely hate due to it killing Hayato, ruining Zeta’s story, and being annoyingly goofy and upbeat. Next is Char’s Counterattack
Edit: at 12:05 I forgot to include that Ms, so the total should be 11,001,614
I know I’m late to come back to this but when you say you hate SEED do you mean just the whole of Cosmic Era or only Destiny. Also, will you do kill counts of the other series, even ones like Turn A, SEED, Reconguista In G, AGE and Witch from Mercury? I know you’re about to come back soon anyway so I figured to ask
@@angryboi595 I hate both. And yes, I intend to do everything I can. Even Reconguista In G. For the other timeline ones, I will do them in order of release dates unless their century has a actual continuity of several entries (for example, if I do SEED and SEED Destiny when the upcoming movie SEED Freedom comes out, I will do that after Destiny due to chronological order). I’ll also do the live action Gundam movie whenever that comes out
6:48 love how they made this random guy’s death go insanely hard
That colony was abandoned, so they didn't kill 11 million there. That would have been hilariously dark, though.
Yeah I know, my bad
shit wen from 25 to 11.000.025 realy quick
Whenever an MS head is destroyed it should not be counted as body count because cockpits are in the torso
They always explode off screen or explode anyway but I just cut the footage
nice sacrifice for the blood god khorne
Did you even watch ZZ episode 17? That space colony was already derelict and was completely uninhabited and abandoned.
Where r u getting 11,000,000 people from?
Are u sure? Colony already had dozens of people in it or previously in it, or millions of people died in it which is why the Colony is desolated. Most colony have at least 11,000,000 people at their smallest anyway
@@somerandomdogontheinternet1338 yes, but that particular colony that gets destroyed by the Argama’s hyper mega particle cannon was one that was completely abandoned. They shot the colony specifically for that reason; as that colony had no living occupants within it, and they shot it solely because they needed something to test out the Argama’s improved hyper mega particle cannon.
If your gonna count colony’s that actually had living people in them when they were destroyed. You should have counted the colony of Core 3 in the final episode of the series. As that colony still had living people and civilians inside of it when the asteroid of Moussa collided with it.
@@GaiaGaiyus im pretty sure Core 3 is evacuated of its people before it’s destruction, but ok fine, I made a mistake
9:30 10:12 塩屋浩三 モンド
You should add 3 more to the count as even though Fa, Bright, and Yazan technically didn't die their characters were completely assassinated! It kinda makes me wish they hadn't survived Zeta, maybe the others could be considered the lucky ones.
The only one who did die is Hayato which I’m forever pissed about
How is this series using the same technique the original 1979 did and reusing animation when this one came out in 1986 and Zeta barely ever reused animation. The animators did NOT care for this one 😭
saving the budget for CCA
I think this Gundam series is overheated, it’s more lighter in tone than Zeta but I do like the story they went for and villains in it, even with the annoying characters, sometimes shitty animation and nonsencial character writing
I personally dislike it but I respect your opinion
I can’t really tell the difference between the Zeta Gundam and ZZ Gundam, they look insanely similar
Zeta Gundam is the one you saw in Zeta Gundam (go figure) where it has a giant red shield on its arm, big blue shoulders and a more clear white body. ZZ Gundam has white shoulders with blue blades on his back (for its core fighter) and a darker-shard white, with a giant red crystal on his head that can fire the High Mega Cannon, and a much bulkier body. It’s easier if you look them up to see the difference
u didn't include the colony drop that wiped out an entire city
What? Uh hello, I literally did here 8:28
And I only counted a few since most of the city was evacuated and I only counted some civilians that stayed as well as all the cars
@@somerandomdogontheinternet1338 Except Kamile literally felt it from as far as he was because the entire fight was over the Neo Zeon forces stopping the evacuation, which is why the evacuation was a complete failure and the entire city died.
