I like the comical tone of the video. Please have a part 2. It is a true pity. The league is so undervalued and under supported, you just wish we could get good stadiums and get players from the league in the national squad, I find it weird,No player gets game time with the National squad and yet we still play players from lower leagues in uk, it's a case of laugh or cry.
All league of Ireland grounds have been deliberately hampered over the years by idiots in charge of most of the clubs and the not to hidden agenda by the various connections of the Irish political establishment parties across the board had various members in the FAI hierarchy that have an agenda to keep the league of Ireland in penuary whilst tax payers money went to GAA, Rugby,Horse and Dog racing fraternities. Biggest damage done was by the various sections of Irish football from underage that made sure the football cattle ie the kids went across to the UK as they earned money from such endeavours had filled out the hierarchy of the FAI and election of various people that had to resign due to various reasons and still the after effects is being dealt with today in the current men's International teams lowly statis.
@@NikCan66You are being very harsh on the officials of the clubs, who against all the odds, have kept their clubs, and a professional football league alive in Ireland. There are several other scapegoats in your post, but that one is the most unfair. It’s very easy to look for scapegoats, and criticise. In fact it’s much easier than pointing out the real problem Irish football has, which is the fact that unlike every other country in Europe, football is a minority sport in Ireland.
@@davidpryle3935 I live in Ireland and follow my local team for over 38 years in the league of Ireland that has gone through promotion/ relegated and bankruptcy I have noticed other sports facilities being improved from proper clubhouses , training facilities, equipment etc but most underage kids change in 40 foot steel containers with no washing facilities as members of my family play sports from Athletics, cricket,,Cycling,Tennis,Hockey,Rugby,Golf ,GAA, Rowing and football but the other even more minority sports have proper structures and clubhouses in place in comparison to the spartan offering from soccer

Have a bit of a fear of losing fans too but tbf if theyre showing up to grounds now with the state they're in, id expect them to stay

Rovers don't own that stadium. I wouldn't be sure they're paying for it.
