Landsdowne road not Aviva
Personally disgusted that my parishes stadium isn't included, we just installed a bus shelter bringing our seat count to 12!
I actually didn't know the GAA had so many stadiums of that size. Also, the cricket ground in Malahide was a big surprise to me.
Too many big stadiums
@OscarOSullivan would you prefer a series of small stadiums ? Wouldnt impress much would it ?
@@aor3220 Some of those big stadiums look ridiculous when games are played in front of no one.
@@polreamonnwell then you should attend and encourage all your mates round to get more people in them and all will be less ridiculous
@aor3220
No do you get the point he's making sometimes they play matches in stadiums that barely hit 1/4 capacity and it looks really dumb
Excellent videos keep it up
The FAI are not co-owners of the Aviva Stadium, the just have a lease there. It is owned by the IRFU.
Hi, thanks for commenting!
The flags for each stadium actually represent the main teams that play there and not the owner. As both the IRFU and FAI fill the stadium for home international matches, we put both flags there. We'll update the description to specify this also :)
@IrelandInData you should throw on the leinster flag to so 😊
Wrong it’s a 50 50 split.
@@paulneville7154 Ha ha! No it isn't. The IRFU owned a stadium in the part of Ireland with the most expensive land prices. The FAI owned two slabs of Carlsberg.
The FAI have a lease. Once that lease is up they're out on their ear.
I thought the oval in belfast would be there it can fit 15,000
I hope League of Ireland teams will get proper and much better stadiums in the future
You are a professional sport. The GAA is amateur yet they are better organised with more foresight. Learn from them.
@@feargal2433not exactly that straightforward or simple why League of Ireland clubs don't have the best facilities - a major thing for the GAA is that is doesn't have any outside competition, it's big fish in a small pond, LOI is competing with 53 other leagues in Europe, GAA gets way more coverage and funding, LOI was left by the wayside when BBC and Sky started broadcasting the Premier League into Ireland in the 80s, millions of Euros gone into the English game an Scottish game.
@@eireraid9816 Focus on the point I was making. The GAA is a very successful amateur sporting organisation. They have to be doing something right. Learn what you can from them.
@@feargal2433 you're comparing two different sports that are in very different scenarios where soccer clubs have a lot more overheads such as having to pay their players and coaches wages, LOI is in a far more competitive situation. What is the answer then, what do LOI clubs do to copy GAA and become successful?
@@eireraid9816 I was reared during the 'no garrison games' era and never got into soccer outside of supporting the national team so I can't give you any advice beyond get better people to run the FAI. Rugby crowd have found success. How did they go about it?
Surprised Walsh Park didn't make the list but Fraher Field did 🤔🤔
Walsh Park is there 😉
Where's tunners cross
Unfortunately not in the top 38 but we could include it in an extended version in the future 🙂
Ok ty
Turners Cross, Cork city.
Musgrave park?
For this video we did the top 38. Musgrave Park is ranked 46th with a capacity of 8,000. Maybe in a future video we'll do the top 50 which will include the likes of Musgrave, Turner's Cross and Parnell Park.
Current Musgrave park is 9,000 something
Why is there a Dublin GAA flag on Croke Park. I thought it was a neutral stadium?
Hi Aiden,
To keep the video consistent, we used the GAA county flags based on the location of the stadium where the county plays its home games.
@@IrelandInData Croke park isn't Dublin Gaa home ground. That's Parnell park.
Yeah I think the GAA flag on top of Croke Park would make more sense than the Dublin flag. Its not their stadium
Hon semple stadium
I have played football in pairc uí chíomh and pairc uí rinn and my team (castlehaven) won the county in pairc uí chíomh and the Munster in the Gaelic grounds
So what
Well done! 💪
Liamo6889 is a pain in the arse
U missed Musgrave park

As a regular to Dr Cullen Park in Carlow, I genuinely struggle to see how more than 20k could safely attend a game there.
What about cloughjordan?
At least you called Ravenhill Ravenhill and not after its main sponsor a criminal company.
You have included part of the uk in video ravenhill, Armagh, fermanagh, etc is not Ireland
Hello all, thanks for your comment!
Just to clarify, our videos are aimed at educating and entertaining, and are not intended to be political in any way. We don't mention that the stadiums in this video are claimed by the Republic of Ireland or the UK, just a comparison of stadiums on the island of Ireland.
All 32 counties are included as there is a lot of cross-over in interests (cultural, sporting, economic, geographical etc) which we think would appeal to a lot of people on both sides of the border.
Thanks again for watching and we hope you enjoy our videos!
"is not Ireland", 😅
Down with this sort of thing...
