OK...So... this is so RIDICULOUSLY hard it made me nervous to watch! That damn thing is almost perfectly symmetrical! How in the hell ?! Damn you're good!
Servetka Bekirovski very awesome amazing and beautiful father's I'm very happy for your accomplishment Judith Tomlinson Potter cells on the street of Toronto byi🤗
I found your channel about 6 months ago. I love your work, it's so satisfying to see you make something out of a portion of clay. Keep up the good work!
Beautiful music choice. I'm actually using this in my writing class! Trying to get the students to envision what they want to say and to take their time!
I have been following your instagram for about 2 years. You're the best of the best (in my opinion). This is seriously so satisfying to watch. The artistry in your work is phenomenal and the way it is filmed (lighting, angle, music, etc.) is very visually appealing too. I'm a big big fan:)
Ok, using a blow torch on the pot: that is freakin' cool! Your leveling reminds me a lot of my throwing professor. Quick and beautiful, like silk. Miss my throwing days. Truly masterful work.
I am so curious what you do with the water going into the bottle near the end .. :) . I love the late Koreo celadon wine bottles . You have a great eye for form .. You may end up letting go of using a sponge in your lifts in the next 20 years .. It was about 25 years for me :) .... Warm regards from New England .. , Yours Guy
omg at the very neck point i was like oh god oh god its gonna break its gonna break😫😫😫😫😫 and the next moment ohh it was soo delicate!! what an amazing video! keep it up
Hi from northern Japan. Very skillful. I am surprised how quickly the wheel turns for the intricacies of long-neck work. Perhaps it is mitigated by the nature of porcelain clay. Cheers, and thank you!
Wooooohooooooo xx Picked up a potters wheel today from Bristol xx Gonna make some god stuff when allowed to use it (Xmas prezzie)... Don't know sh*t about it all though... Needs a kiln too x Can't wait x
Hi Matt great video. I wonder how you would turn a foot in this? What type of glaze did you use on this. If you did could you post a video on how you turned it? Thanks clement
I use a chuck to turn my pieces, but I didn't video this one unfortunately. I glaze all of my work using crystalline glazes, I don't think i have a photo of this piece in particular but you can see some examples here: ua-cam.com/video/K_gxK3eLlKA/v-deo.html or on my website.
Thanks again Matt. You did let folks know what L&L kiln you recently purchased, but I can't find the information. Can you let me know again? My question is, is this kiln 2.5 or 3 inch wall thickness? I am wondering what you chose based on the time needed for temperature drop down required for the crystal growth time and temperature.
For some reason I find this so relaxing first time I'm watching this. You never know where you can find your relaxing moments I guess I did tonight.
You make it look so easy! So much respect for your beautiful work
OK...So... this is so RIDICULOUSLY hard it made me nervous to watch! That damn thing is almost perfectly symmetrical! How in the hell ?! Damn you're good!

Beautiful music choice. I'm actually using this in my writing class! Trying to get the students to envision what they want to say and to take their time!
This was ridiculously satisfying to watch and I have so many questions.
Aaah of course, I always forget that applying heat mid-throw is an option - beautiful work and clever process!
wow!
I can't believe how fast the wheel is turning all the way to the end!
You are really good!
Awesome. Superb shape. Brilliant throwing.
I love it when there is a good pottery maker with a good camera

What about all the water still in there? Very beautiful vase!
That was like watching a ballet. You are an amazing potter.
So perfectly centered it doesn't even look like its turning! SKILL!
Oh my goodness! That is so beautiful!
Superb demo, Mate.
This is so technically perfect! Your form is flawless... Makes me want to do more pottery again. I miss it!

yeah, it really makes me wanna make something but I can't so it kinda makes me sad :( but that's ok
yes you can. anyone can do anything, u just have to take that first step
Happy new year- excellent pottery
these videos are oddly satisfying
That was so relaxing to watch. Beautiful.
clay masters..... excellent work
I'm jealous of how easy it seemed for you to get such a tall and thin neck. Most of the stuff I made when I took a class ripped right in half… :')
I know nothing about pottery, but this thing is amazing. :-)
this is a perfect piece of art!
So gorgeous & beautifully made.
This video is so soothing
Nice vase, chill music.
Matt you have amazing talent
i watch this when im too much thinking about things .,. itsso very satisfying also the music
a part of me really likes this and the other just wants him to cut it in half so i can see the wall
It looks like there would be still water inside the vase!
Haha ikr
I subscribed after one video because your so talented I just want to see more of you work ;)
even watching is exciting. my heart beat is getting higher 'til end.
Masterful, im in a pottery class rn, thats soo good

Thats so cool... I wanna do that... looks so good...
That was amazing, really relaxing too.
i have a feeling this is one of those things that looks much easier than it is
Eventually you get the hang of it
This is so satisfying
your videos are inspirational Matt :)
Nicely done! How did you get all the water out of it? You didn't show that part...
Wooooohooooooo xx
Picked up a potters wheel today from Bristol xx
Gonna make some god stuff when allowed to use it (Xmas prezzie)...
Don't know sh*t about it all though...
Needs a kiln too x
Can't wait x
Quite clear. Thank you so much!
Simply perfection.
Sorry if this question was already asked but how to you keep the inside walls of the neck from touching together and closing off the form?
Have to be very careful not to close it up... If it's very thin I could use a needle on the inside ;)
Amazing work! Would love to be as skilled in the art of pottery as you! X
Beautiful, I usually call these wind-pipes on the pottery app I have on the phone. When they have a larger bottom I call them sack wind-pipes. :3
Beautiful work man... Thanks
Smooth with a capital SMOO buddy!
This should be in a satisfying video compilation
This is so beautiful.
beautiful hands.
That is very cool and satisfying ❤️👍🏽
My only thought every time he made the neck thinner and thinner was: Wow. This guy is ambicious.

Muito bonito seu trabalho!! É argila? Porque não havia visto essa cor ainda...
Matt, would you show your trimming one of your pieces like this? That would be great. Thanks
Chris Amar sure, I'll see what I can do :)
Matt Horne Pottery Thanks Matt. I'm sure you've been asked this before, but I'm wondering what cone you fire at?
Chris Amar I fire to cone 10 oxidation
