He reinforced it by saying he makes his style in 益子焼・ましこやき -> Mashiko Town Styled Pottery, which is a famous pottery town in Tochigi Prefecture known for Hamada Shoji. Just for anyone trying to look up what he's talking about.
I am a painter and an illustrator, and seeing this really makes me want to try out pottery. Seeing him work has been a beautiful experience, I could feel the joy he draws from making pottery. This is the joy of creation right here, 100% human energy
I love the idea of mixing clays. I'm trying to use up the clay I've been digging out of my garden. Maybe when I can grow decent potatoes I'll get some different clay.
Tallented, dedicated, blessed with imagination. My goodness your work is wonderful. And any one can see that what you do is not just a job , it's your life, your happiness that would bring happiness to anyone who owns a piece of your art. Thank you for your video. I am just learning to use clay and you inspire me. Many thanks.
The robots are hilarious . I don't know if you understand Japanese but he said that they are actually incense burners and when the incense is burning inside and the smoke comes out it looks like the robot is broken and smoking from the inside . This creation is called walking incense but because the Japanese word for incense is Ro and the the Japanese words for walking and person is BO TO , when pronounced in Japanese it sounds like RO BOT'TO , or Robot ! This is brilliant, the creation is delightful and the name is so smart .
@@marigam indeed you are right. Clover studio revised the video 5 years ago and added subtitles to it. You can check some old comments and you will find one posted by the original poster of the video dated 5 years in which states the revision of the subtitles.
Your work is amazing and you are awesome! I've been doing pottery 6 years and I'm only now pleased with my progress. I wish I had the £ to visit your atelier😀
So young for such advanced skills, all aspects of ceramic art seem practiced and well deployed! Some very Jomonesque designs there too- I can't believe the game dev crew on Zelda, Breath of the Wild were unaware of this artist :)
Greetings Your work is wonderfully made,i love your style of createvity exellent and awesome thanks for this inside of your work-look forward to see more videos.
Lindo, espero que me entiendas. Soy de Colombia en Sudamérica, tierra del café más suave del mundo. Me encanta tu trabajo, se refleja la estética maravillosa en todo lo que tiene que ver con Japón. Felicitaciones.
OMG if you want a laugh turn on the captions and translate to English. Like autocorrect when texting, even if you're watching a video in english. At one point it translates : man I've mosquito seventeen. You can get some of what's really going on, but really it's better just watching the video, no captions, and just figure by context. You'll probably be more correct than the translation that way........ but if you need a good laugh....... btw I love his robots.
Not sure which pleases me most: His work or the fact that his work makes him happy.
Omg look at this cute guy who is very passionate and he loves doing what he's doing!!! He's so cute when he talks about ceramics and his works 😆😆😆💕
He's so cute when he talks about it, I love this guy's work.
