Hey dude! I've been a huge fan since I first started watching your channel when I was 16, and is it okay if you could do a video on the "Lacey's Games" videos, from ghosttundra's channel, they're very popular, so popular, that most people made their own digital horror 2000's flash game args, that are clearly derivative of it, and the very first one, Lacey's Wardrobe, was very disturbing and very tragic, so not only I was scared, but I was also sad when for Lacey when she got fucking murdered and even eaten, and I always thought whenever I saw it, if I was still a kid, or if I was a kid again, and if I saw my cousins, who were kids like me at the time, I would be traumatized if it was a real game, so those video's were meant for you, since I'm a huge fan, is it okay if you do that? #laceyswardrobe #ghosttundra #laceysgames #digitalhorror
Great job on your series! I saw clips of Wegman's Dogs growing up but was very little and I remember even then they made me extremely uncomfortable. It's awesome seeing it expanded on in Analog Horror format. If you ever need any ambient or horror themed music I would so love to help! Regardless, I am a new fan!
The first ARG was pretty believable up until the part where he was telling his life story and said that he killed his dog "Fido" . Never in my life have I heard the name Fido being used outside of fictional settings.
The Dog Nightmares one reminds me of something my grandfather talked about once. When he was young, during a spell of illness, he suffered from a few horrible feverish nightmares depicting humanoid cats. In one, a cat stood over his bed watching him. In another, one of the cat-people sat out on the fire escape of a building, looking in at him.
@@ScareTheater Yeah, it shook him up pretty bad. Never owned a cat after. I’m so happy you saw this comment, btw! I’ve been watching your channel since 2017 or so!
Shout out to Dog Nightmares! I appreciate the upfront honesty about it being an art project. Trying to be overly mysterious and keep an illusion is played out imo. They seem very cool and are super talented!
Agreed, trying too hard to be mysterious ironically makes it more obvious that it's an art project, being up front with it is a good choice because people will appreciate it either way
That first one is pretty eye-rolling. “The generic scary crazy man with the abusive father commits an act of sexual violence against a woman and obsesses over her until he escapes the crazy asylum for crazy people so he can stalk her and fantasize about making a twisted family with her and he does a bunch of murders along the way because he’s just that crazy and then he tracks down her boyfriend to kill and replace him” like you might as well make this guy a hoodie wearing Creepypasta OC
Agreed. So he was apparantly locked up in some facility, yet they allowed him to produce and upload countless videos during that time, including one announcing his escape, and then actually allow him to just walk out of the place...? And then he's just out in the open, trespassing into homes, filming and uploading it all, and yet just nothing happens...? Come on. The whole thing had some potential, but that part really broke the immersion.
Yeah, and then he says that he doesn't do very many "analog horror" things beyond the admittedly pretty neat dog video, because so many of them are "low effort" really weird taste there.
Just wanted to say I think it’s lovely of you to explain Kevin’s channel in a fair and objective way to just put well-intentioned and curious people’s questions or concerns about content like his to rest. I won’t pretend to know why he makes videos, but UA-cam is a creative platform that gives purpose to making videos, and creating videos and uploading is just another form of art therapy. Sometimes talking to a camera is easier than talking to people. So long as no one is being harmed, it’s all good. I get why people are surprised or concerned too, though, but it’s really not uncommon or unusual honestly.
Man, that stupid dog gives me the creeps every time I see it. Kudos to the Dog Nightmares lady in making something that is legitimately uncomfortable for me to look at.
Yeah like I've been watching folks talk about it and even barely seeing the videos cause I'm a wimp it's haunted me, I swear I'll go to bed and just in my head it'll replay "he's still out there"

dog nightmares is genuinely scary, it unnerved me in the same way online horror used to as a kid and that's a feeling i've been trying to recreate for a while
always glad to see you doing well and uploading. I remember being a 6th grader watching your videos after school now im almost done with college crazy how time flies
I think the Kevin King videos might actually be uploads for Fivver clips. There's a genre on Fivver for paying someone a bit to read out your message and film it for your use (the most well-known example sadly is back eight years ago when PewDiePie had two ESL men repeat antisemitic slurs and get banned from Fivver for hate content.) Considering how many of his videos include salutes, and the one where he proclaims someone as the 'goat' (aka the GOAT), it's likely he's got a regular recording gig and these are either his uploads for patrons or they're examples he can offer up on Fivver so people know what they'll receive.
Glad to see this series still going. I remember some of the earlier episodes being the first I watched when I first found your channel so thank you for bringing it back!
The kevin king channel reminds me a bit of another creator called "Kadeem Alford". He's a paranoid schizophrenic guy who says a lot of wild stuff but his channel is more focused on gaming and making some beautiful covers of songs. Just the sheer randomness of the posts they make is really quite something
dog nightmares is the scariest one for me. I love dogs so much and since I have a dog that looks like the one in the video series it hits even harder for me. It also reignites old memories of watching sketches of people using tricks to super impose dog heads onto each other or tricks of perception.
YES! The crazy theories, fanon, tribute/spinoff projects, and all the wonderful things that happen in the fandoms is something I dearly love about the analog horror scene.
The Dog Nightmares one made me say to myself: "What the dog doin?", lol. Welcome back to one of the many OG series on this channel years ago when it was new. Also, my potential candidate for Strange UA-cam Channels Part 8 is Ronald Yoder Sr. Entertainment and it's most infamous video 'Look At The Clown'(I always joke about the video every now and then, whilst mentioning terrifying yet funny clowns from movies, TV, and video games).
love this series scare glad to see it back!! :D i loved you sharing the dog nightmares actually, i'm the same in that analog horror doesn't appeal to me lately but it felt like such an authentic childhood story. i also loved that it was based on a recurring nightmare but also incorporates a sesame street bit? perfect
Ok, I actually love the Dog Nightmares. Wegman's Dogs never scared me as a kid, but I can see how it would be scary to a little kid. And the fact that someone took that an made a horror series out of it just seems to fit.
Kevin just posted a video two hours ago saying “I am proud to be Mr Beast!” with a Tupperware container balanced on his head, so idk, man, I think he’s an icon who needs to be covered on every channel just to show the world how great he is. 🤣
This gives me nostalgia even though I’ve only known this channel for about 3 years. Probably cause being in online learning was awesome, and I watched these back then. It’s the music that plays when he starts talking.
I love that some of the channels give you the feeling of whether the events are real or not! However, some channels aren't as "scary" than what people make it out to be.
The first guy seems like he is fascinated by stalkers and obsession and tried to make his own series revolving around that.Maybe it's just me, but I kind it somewhat disrespectful when people try to "mimic" mental illnesses(or health problems in general) and call it an ARG or "art", simply because what he did here is so extreme and unrealistic.
Ok, gotta be honest, that Dog Nightmares one looked so bad. It was basically just a lost episode creepypasta. "Wow guys, it's a DOG that has BLACK EYES from a SESAME STREET episode, oOoOoOo! Isnt it spooky that I took a childhood favorite show and made it CrEePy?!" I don't know man, I had the same problem with Walten Files but that is also a series that everyone seems to love except me. But, I will give it this I guess, it is better than that first one you talked about lol Anyway, I liked the video, this is one of my favorite series on this channel, but taking more than half the video talking about that dog one was disappointing.
I’m not super into it, maybe that will change as it goes on, but it’s definitely far better than the Walten Files. The Walten Files is literally just a copy of FNAF but without a neat game to go along with it.
only the last one was actually interesting. a channel isn't very strange if the explanation is obvious in the first 5 seconds, is it? i don't suppose anyone else misses the real unexplainable mysteries that used to be posted here.
@@M50A1But back then it was still new. I don't think it was necessarily basic, but it did add a mysterious element to the videos. But at this point, we know what the deal is with ARGs and that they're fake. But making the same type of video about channels that use the cliché ARG tropes in hopes of getting picked up by a youtuber, in 2023 is.. 🥱 🥱
Kevin is probably doing something for his speech. They made us do something like this when I was little. He probably has autism too. Records to see his improvement which I am pretty sure he has. These things are not creepy or scary in the slightest. The people who recommended it are just weird
@@Tyroneloveseating like i said, he can see his improvement throughout the time hes doing it. its not weird at all. people do stuff like that all the time
@@ghostabless I mean I find Kevin kinda Funny in a post ironic sense of the word, I'm not laughing at his condition but he does say some very hilarious things
I just want to take some time to express my appreciation for your channel. I've been watching for many many years now, i remember watching your obey the walrus video with my friend in middle school. Very very happy to see you uploading more again and showing more of your personality in some of the newer vids. Keep up the great work dude. Many people like other horror youtubers, but ScareTheater will always reign supreme for me.
Hey man I would just straight up not have people like Kevin King on this list. Even if it is a way for you to tell people its uninteresting, you are still showcasing and sharing his youtube channel name while knowing he probably has a mental health issue. Especially after the first one you show in the video being a lazy depiction of mental health.
Man I really wish YT creators would make it clear when something is just a bunch of unfiction BS. I want stuff that is actually weird and creepy. Explicitly knowing something is unfiction completely ruins the experience, as does spoiling it by regurgitating the plot summary in 4-5 minutes, btw, so even if I WANTED to experience and enjoy these channels, I still wouldn't want to pre-spoil it by watching the Cliffsnotes summary of it. I come to the spooky/weird side of YT because I want SPOOKY and WEIRD. It's neither of those things if it is made crystal clear up front that it's unfiction. It's not spooky if it is blatantly fictional. It's not weird or strange if I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the whole thing is made up. I have nothing against the existence of or creation of unfiction as a whole but it literally ONLY works if the audience is allowed to have some uncertainty as to whether it's real or not. If that uncertainty is taken away, then it's not unfiction, it's just an amateur horror series. But the problem is, everyone and their dog wants in on the super trendy, cool bandwagon of doing "unfiction" without understanding in the slightest what makes unfiction WORK. And there is exactly ONE thing that makes it work: suspension of disbelief. Videos like this DESTROY any chance of that suspension of disbelief to exist. But because there is such a huge glut of this wanna-be unfiction it makes it almost impossible to find content that is ACTUALLY spooky/weird/unexplained. Every channel I follow in this category, even the great MrBallen, has been reduced to regurgitating badly-written, made-up stuff from reddit. Unfiction is literally replacing all of the content I used to enjoy because it actually creeped me out. I can't remember the last time I watched a video that left me puzzled over the explanation - literally EVERY video now has one simple, crystal-clear explanation: it's made up. It's literally just made up. Again, it's cool that someone has an idea and makes something creative. But my issue is that the blatantly FICTIONAL stuff has completely taken over every single channel and content creator that I used to be able to count on for content that might actually give me a good spook.

Kirk's dog in plaid reminds me of that famous painting where the dogs are playing a game of poker

dog nightmares is genuinely scary, it unnerved me in the same way online horror used to as a kid and that's a feeling i've been trying to recreate for a while
Happy to see this series returning
always glad to see you doing well and uploading. I remember being a 6th grader watching your videos after school now im almost done with college crazy how time flies
Yesss, finally a new video on the series is back after so long, Glad to see it still standing :)
I really love the casual vibes in all your interviews! It makes me feel like I'm chilling with friends
I love how youve kept the way of editing on your videos the same as the good ol days! Love ya man❤
Im so glad this series is back
"Old king Cole was a merry Old soul"
A sketch done with the dog i remember from me childhood, this video sparked that memory
I think the Kevin King videos might actually be uploads for Fivver clips. There's a genre on Fivver for paying someone a bit to read out your message and film it for your use (the most well-known example sadly is back eight years ago when PewDiePie had two ESL men repeat antisemitic slurs and get banned from Fivver for hate content.)
Considering how many of his videos include salutes, and the one where he proclaims someone as the 'goat' (aka the GOAT), it's likely he's got a regular recording gig and these are either his uploads for patrons or they're examples he can offer up on Fivver so people know what they'll receive.
Glad to see this series still going. I remember some of the earlier episodes being the first I watched when I first found your channel so thank you for bringing it back!
Any videos you want to see analyzed here next?
GTA 6 trailer, mw3 season 1, and scare theater upload in the span of 2 days. This is epic.
Unreal
Love this series. So glad it made a comeback!
That dog nightmares one is genuinely unnerving. I haven't been that shook from an ARG since the sun vanished.
Having a bad day and your videos always make it better. Thanks
Glad to help!
love this series scare glad to see it back!! :D i loved you sharing the dog nightmares actually, i'm the same in that analog horror doesn't appeal to me lately but it felt like such an authentic childhood story. i also loved that it was based on a recurring nightmare but also incorporates a sesame street bit? perfect
I’ve waited too long for this. This is one of my favorite series on this channel
Bro your channel is the best. So professional and also straight to the point. I appreciate them so much man
Really bummed you only gave two channels and they were both ARGs.
Ok, I actually love the Dog Nightmares. Wegman's Dogs never scared me as a kid, but I can see how it would be scary to a little kid. And the fact that someone took that an made a horror series out of it just seems to fit.
It's always a good day when Scare Theater uploads 🖤
Kevin just posted a video two hours ago saying “I am proud to be Mr Beast!” with a Tupperware container balanced on his head, so idk, man, I think he’s an icon who needs to be covered on every channel just to show the world how great he is. 🤣
Analogue horror yawn. Jesus, people abused it so much, it became cringe
🤨 cringe? What is this, 2016?
@@M50A1 huh? You think, after 2016 people dont use "cringe" anymore? Bro gatekeeping words now. Brain damage enjoyer
@@Fatymable Bro believes in cringe culture 💀
@@M50A1 there is no such culture. But i believe in retarded culture. You represent one of them
I work in EMS and just got off of a long shift. Then I come home to see this uploaded, great way to unwind. Thank you!
Dog nightmares sounds exactly like my old roommate but I’m too scared to ask them 😭
This gives me nostalgia even though I’ve only known this channel for about 3 years. Probably cause being in online learning was awesome, and I watched these back then.
It’s the music that plays when he starts talking.
If I see an arg...I swear man
I’ve genuinely been waiting for a continuation for so long.
I was definitely scared of those dogs when I was a child
I love that some of the channels give you the feeling of whether the events are real or not!
However, some channels aren't as "scary" than what people make it out to be.
The first guy seems like he is fascinated by stalkers and obsession and tried to make his own series revolving around that.Maybe it's just me, but I kind it somewhat disrespectful when people try to "mimic" mental illnesses(or health problems in general) and call it an ARG or "art", simply because what he did here is so extreme and unrealistic.
Nothing like watching scare theatre when you are alone and getting freaked out
Ok, gotta be honest, that Dog Nightmares one looked so bad. But, I will give it this I guess, it is better than that first one you talked about lol
Anyway, I liked the video, this is one of my favorite series on this channel, but taking more than half the video talking about that dog one was disappointing.
hey man I appreciate your criticism but trust me when I say there is more to it than meets the eye! stay groovy 🤟🐶
@@DogNightmares Hey, keep doing what you do, I may not like it but other people do. I'm just giving my thoughts. Hope you have a good day
Much love yall have a good one
@@seancrosby6837 yeah man!! hope you do to! ✌
I’m not super into it, maybe that will change as it goes on, but it’s definitely far better than the Walten Files. The Walten Files is literally just a copy of FNAF but without a neat game to go along with it.
Been a subscriber for years, i LOVE you continue to use the nostalgic horror music. Congrats on 1 mil subs! You're amazing scare theater 🤧💕
Will you ever make a video about Crypotle and his bizarre trolling videos?
Best thing about scaretheater is that his channel still uses the good ol soundtrack and editing style. Its timeless
only the last one was actually interesting. a channel isn't very strange if the explanation is obvious in the first 5 seconds, is it? i don't suppose anyone else misses the real unexplainable mysteries that used to be posted here.
The mystery was always this basic, even back then.
No fucking way. We are so back. Thanks for this throwback episode to this old series
ScareTheater is my childhood comfort channel
The dog one was lame lmao
There's nothing better to watch a new scary theater video in the subway on my way to the office
Kevin is probably doing something for his speech. They made us do something like this when I was little. He probably has autism too. Records to see his improvement which I am pretty sure he has. These things are not creepy or scary in the slightest. The people who recommended it are just weird
Maybe Kevin is some kind of actor or artist
If I were Kevin I would not post me saying or doing random stuff that is weird in the public if that is the case
@@jeanmichellelaurent i could see that as well. people have done it before
@@Tyroneloveseating like i said, he can see his improvement throughout the time hes doing it. its not weird at all. people do stuff like that all the time
@@ghostabless I mean I find Kevin kinda Funny in a post ironic sense of the word, I'm not laughing at his condition but he does say some very hilarious things
Scaretheater king of sponsor transitions
I really hate ARGs
Can you please touch me while I’m asleep
I just want to take some time to express my appreciation for your channel. I've been watching for many many years now, i remember watching your obey the walrus video with my friend in middle school. Very very happy to see you uploading more again and showing more of your personality in some of the newer vids. Keep up the great work dude. Many people like other horror youtubers, but ScareTheater will always reign supreme for me.
Hey man I would just straight up not have people like Kevin King on this list. Even if it is a way for you to tell people its uninteresting, you are still showcasing and sharing his youtube channel name while knowing he probably has a mental health issue. Especially after the first one you show in the video being a lazy depiction of mental health.
there are plenty of other theories as to why kevin king makes these videos, mr MoralMan™
@@badpasters like what
@@MonoBeez that it's a fiverr thing, or that he may be testing out the algorithm
The intro with the mini clips is so scary without the narration to comfort me
Man I really wish YT creators would make it clear when something is just a bunch of unfiction BS.
Waffling
Bro better not turn up and use creepypasta content as his example of what he thinks he lost 💀
YO!!! I never thought kev would get the recognition he deserves!
ARGs are already eye-roll inducing but when they break the fourth wall I lose all interest completely
Scare theater upload and its recent and hes still using the same formula hes been using for these videos for years WE’RE SO BACK‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ seriously tho i love your channel ive been a fan since almost the beginning, its so nostalgic even opening a new video from you, thank you :D
