@ wrong about towing a car with the engine running. Otherwise that would be the perfect hack to keep you from ever getting towed. Just leave your car running in the fire lane and you can spend hours shopping without getting towed. Also they even tow cars that are still on fire while the tow truck drives off. Running across the path of a predator is an effective escape strategy. Even if the predator can run faster, it can't turn on a dime and maintain the same acceleration, so the deer escapes. They did not, however, evolve this strategy with predators that can "run" 50mph.
5:29 - Wow the bird protecting their nest... that made me all teary eyed... Anyone can be a giant predator and rule the jungle but real courage is being smaller than a bag of chips and still standing your grounds.. that's real bravery... Wow wow wow!

4:54 These people are FAR too picky! Do you have any idea how advanced that is to see a mechanical Whale Shark swimming around in the aquarium!? I'd still be freaking out about that!!
I thought so too! I think it's a little understandable to be upset if you were specifically told that there would be a real shark and it actually wasn't one, but the concept of a mechanical whale shark with that level of natural movement is really cool by itself. I'm sure there are aquariums out there where they have old submarines and such on display as an exhibit. This is just a really visually interesting version of that. I'd honestly call it an art piece.
1:32 We had a cat like that, we found him on our front porch one day with a chunk missing from his leg. we nursed him back to health and turned out he was like a decade old cat, he couldnt meow, something was wrong with his vocal cords or something, he just made a quiet hissy squeek. We called him Vovos, which translates to mute. He was legit the friendliest cat ever, he would give you hugs and if you didnt give him enough attention when you were holding him he would nudge your chin. We had him for probably 4 months before he died of bobcat fever, and we werent even there.
These kids have seen so many Road Runner cartoons, they were sure the coyote could NEVER catch them. This coyote didn't even have any Acme brand missiles or anvils!
4:34 I actually don’t mind that it is a robot. The whale sharks don’t live long in a tank and have to be catch in the wild. This is the best solution for don’t overfishing and giving the people the chance to see what wonderful creatures are in our oceans and why we have to protect them.
but the aquarium should've been honest about their fake display. you see, this is a common occurrence nowadays in Chinese tourism, lots of fake attractions, not just their products. even some of their "natural" waterfalls are fake. if that shit was done in the US, that's a lawsuit in under 5 mins.
I think it's actually not a half bad idea. It gives some perspective to the size sea creatures can get to in a seascape aquarium like that. Do I want to see a zoo or aquarium of nothing but robots? Not unless it's an engineering and robotics show! But I think it's brilliant for species that cannot be kept in most zoos or aquariums but still need that public awareness and outreach education that zoos and aquariums bring to so many other species.
I mean I assume an animal at that size is very hard to keep in a small aquarium without it getting zoochosis or something similar, not too much enrichment for something that’s used to swimming over miles of open ocean Though I will say a good amount of zoos do great work in conservation and awareness. Not all of them are terrible, and many treat their animals quite well. It’s these larger ocean mammals/other large species that can have problems
And I think both it and the farmer are also very lucky; that tractor could've not only killed the bird family, but also risked contaminating the crops indirectly by attracting maggots.
@@MyHeroAcademiaFanboy027 - There's no risk of contamination. @@drlauch2256 it was out of view of the headlights. Completely. None of the shining would have blinded it until it waited as the engine also got CLOSER to move. Then did it again, where it VERY MUCH had absolutely no chance to NOT see the damn car.
@@stupidmangoz That doesn’t fully account for the deer’s natural reactions and behavior. Deer don’t process sights and sounds the way we do, and they don’t “understand” cars or the risk posed by them. Even if a deer moves out of the headlights, it still doesn’t fully grasp what the car is or that it should keep its distance. Instead, it’s likely reacting to the sound of the engine or other unfamiliar noises by freezing or moving erratically. When the car gets closer, the deer’s instincts kick in, and it may feel the need to “escape” again-but without a clear idea of where to go. Its reaction to sound, movement, and unfamiliar lights is more about survival than rational decision-making. Deer evolved to respond to predators in unpredictable ways, which can include freezing, darting in random directions, or doubling back. These behaviors may seem counterintuitive to us, but they’re driven by instinct rather than conscious thought. So, it’s less about intelligence and more about biology and instinct.

Running across the path of a predator is an effective escape strategy. Even if the predator can run faster, it can't turn on a dime and maintain the same acceleration, so the deer escapes. They did not, however, evolve this strategy with predators that can "run" 50mph.
The deer saw the fraudulent squirrel video and wanted in on the action.
5:29 - Wow the bird protecting their nest... that made me all teary eyed... Anyone can be a giant predator and rule the jungle but real courage is being smaller than a bag of chips and still standing your grounds.. that's real bravery... Wow wow wow!

That's actually a quero-quero, a very vicious bird that will attack anything that gets close to the nest

Love that videos started being double size lately, thank you for that!

4:34 I actually don’t mind that it is a robot. The whale sharks don’t live long in a tank and have to be catch in the wild. This is the best solution for don’t overfishing and giving the people the chance to see what wonderful creatures are in our oceans and why we have to protect them.
plus this is a much better alternative than using a different kind of animal then trying to make it look like it. Like the panda dog video clips
It also looks cool tho.
@@neumann7888what panda dog wtf? Lol
but the aquarium should've been honest about their fake display.

5:01 I kinda think that’s a genius idea especially for the sea life that can’t handle being in confined spaces like dolphins and sharks
I would absolutely love to see a robot whale shark. That thing was cool.
The robot whale shark was awesome.
right?? that thing is so cool and it must’ve required a ton of engineering to make it.
Or Maybe don't animals in confined spaces
I think it's actually not a half bad idea. It gives some perspective to the size sea creatures can get to in a seascape aquarium like that. Do I want to see a zoo or aquarium of nothing but robots? Not unless it's an engineering and robotics show! But I think it's brilliant for species that cannot be kept in most zoos or aquariums but still need that public awareness and outreach education that zoos and aquariums bring to so many other species.
3:20..... I think you shared that clip before, but I'm not complaining. I love that clip!

5:00 - that robot shark is cool as...
And it means no animal cruelty too
@@blazeflamestrikebaby thats not how zoos work
@@snoodlmy man, that is an aquarium
I mean I assume an animal at that size is very hard to keep in a small aquarium without it getting zoochosis or something similar, not too much enrichment for something that’s used to swimming over miles of open ocean
Though I will say a good amount of zoos do great work in conservation and awareness. Not all of them are terrible, and many treat their animals quite well. It’s these larger ocean mammals/other large species that can have problems
@@piperb1384 This exactly. There is no aquarium on Earth large enough to keep a shark of that size and not be cruel to it.

One of the best "Daily Dose" videos! Well done!
5:36 the bravest bird in the universe
It's a Tero
And I think both it and the farmer are also very lucky; that tractor could've not only killed the bird family, but also risked contaminating the crops indirectly by attracting maggots.
And a danged fine farmer!
@@MyHeroAcademiaFanboy027 - There's no risk of contamination. There will be dead animals on any field regardless, plus bird eggs from nests left behind, because they didn't hatch that will be rotting. The Deer is blinded by the Headlights thats why it only moves soo late. Probably still confused and with bad sight it runs back again.
Thats why you should switch off your high beam as soon as you see any Wild Animal along the Road! (as you can see the driver doing after the encounter)
@@drlauch2256 it was out of view of the headlights. Completely. None of the shining would have blinded it until it waited as the engine also got CLOSER to move. Then did it again, where it VERY MUCH had absolutely no chance to NOT see the damn car.
I WAS BOUTTA COMMENT THAT
@@stupidmangoz That doesn’t fully account for the deer’s natural reactions and behavior.
