Here's the full featured Casio Gulfmaster GWN1000 series Nutnfancy review. It is one of the best Casio watches ever made. Check out all the features discussed/shown in the video: ABC functionality, atomic time synching, solar powered, accurate tide and moon phasing, rugged G Shock construction, great looks, world time with home time shortcuts, 200M water proofness, and high legibility. This review comes at the end of SCUBA dive, surfing, and Zodiac operations testing two Gulfmaster GWN1000, see video! The GWN1000 is amazingly lightweight and wearable for a large men's watch. It is striking, especially in the blue and white colors shown. These colors come and then sell out quickly around the world so move fast if you find one you like. This watch will gain in value if kept in new condition and will make an excellent Casio collectible piece as well. I prefer the Gulfmaster over any of the Mudmaster series; the Gravitymasters [see my review on them] is about equal with me in 2nd cool. The Master of G GRAVITYMASTER is therefore a HIGHLY recommend Hall of Fame men's adventure watch.

I've had that watch for about a year now. It lived on my wrist 24 hours a day for 4 months while traveling to 20 national parks and hiking hundreds of miles and it still looks pristine. Gorgeous and solid watch. I also highly recommend this watch as well. I can't say enough good things about it!
I bought the GWN1000 after your original review. Got it in white and love it! Keep it up dude!
No I have not reviewed this Gulfmaster watch before! I did review is less expensive counterpart the GN1000 series shown and discussed in the video. After one year of surf, Zodiac, shooting, and SCUBA operations we are ready to post our results on the Casio Gulfmaster GWN1000 series. Just buy one; it's that good. These are rugged, technical, durable, high end G Shocks with all the features we love and use all the time: ABC, atomic/solar, 200M meter waterproofness, tide function, and more. Two versions are shown, both of these GWN1000 colorations are already discontinued by Casio so buy quick. -nutnfancy
nutnfancy would this watch be good/useful in outdoors like the back packing videos you do?
I absolutely agree with this review. Worth every single penny and in fact probably more. Appreciate what you've put it through and take it as proof of everything I knew.
nutnfancy unrelated topic. I know your very tall and I love the T38 and the cockpit looks small how did you fit in there? Was it like driving a Porsche at Mach1? What is your favorite jet beside KC135?
nutnfancy hey nutn ben a long time tnpr love the channel and apreciate all you do ... do you have anny opions or plans to review a garmin fortrex 301 - or 401 ik ur busy but that would be awesome
I have to say I wasn't much into watches until you started reviewing them. I am looking to assemble some "field gear" and a good watch has to be part of my kit.
I won't be taking my Smartwatch on that trek.
I have been wearing Casio watches during my military career, all the way up to now as a fire fighter / EMT / SAR and as a privet contractor. Love the watches they are my go to watch, especially the G series.
Yo nutn, not many other channels on UA-cam do proper watch reviews, so keep it up.
Most thorough watch reviews on UA-cam. Thanks so much.
Love Casio, thanks for putting up reviews on Casio
Thanks and you're welcome!
I wear the GN1000 every shift as a paramedic in an urban environment. It takes a beating physically from bumps and bangs and also from bodily fluids, hasn't failed me yet. It is very comfortable, I can wear it for a 24 hour shift and forget I'm even wearing it. I have many watches and this a favorite along with my Omega Planet Ocean.
Been a sub since the beginning - I dig the watch reviews yo! Keep em' coming!
I got my Gulf Master and nothing can compare. I only got it because off your fist review. Thanks mate. Brenden Australia
While not a particular fan of multi-function watches, I greatly appreciate the review. Thank you for being Nuntfancy.
You bet...I know no other way that I'd want to do it
dude you are the bee's knee's. I appreciate that you take the time & energy to keep bringing us greatness
Thank you for the review Col. Bought the blue one from your link on 8/8, and three weeks later the glossy navy blue. Awesome watches for the sailor/fisherman. Have two dress Omegas and one dress Seiko and needed watches like this for rotation. BTW, did you know a Blaine at Castle? We did a lot of sailing at Don Pedro 87-95. He was a Tanker Jockey and I think a Major! Great Guy.
Got to love Casio.... love my protrek prg 600y. Thank you for the reviews.
I am partial to my classic Fossil Analog watch. It essentially tells time but I have had it for over a decade now so I would say it holds more sentimental value than anything else for me.
I have the 1000B in my G-Shock collection. It is a sharp looking watch & I've been wearing it instead of my Mudmaster lately
The Oroville Lake is being reduced to the seven hundred foot (700') level. The boat ramps do not reach that low level so you may have the lake to yourself... If you do not need to use the boat ramp ! And Juan just did an update on work to be done... Only one hundred days left for this year worth of work. Thank you for another great video today ! tjl
Great info on Oroville. We were shocked how low it was in June, even more now it sounds. Its a great lake and I love going to it; nice clean water, pretty scenery. Glad the damn did not break.
DUDE. Epic trick I figured out for watches with lacking keepers, put a tiny zip tie through the last holes on the strap to form a sort of barb that will hold the keeper from sliding off the strap!! I did this on one of my high value casios and trimmed the excess band off, its so clean and its worked since! My keeper is rubber, maybe it wouldn't work with a metal one, You're welcome everyone!
I bought the range master in od green for $115 on amazon 8 weeks ago. Killer deal. Great watch. Similar in functionality and love the negative display. Some complain of the dark display. I prefer it.
I have been wanting to buy this watch for a long time thank you for your review on a potential travelers companion.
Hey, NutnFancy. Love the channel. A couple of quick comments for the benefit of your viewers. This is my all time favorite watch and I have had a couple of them.
The anodized blue bezel is the only one that is metal. The "stainless" you pointed out and all of the other colors are actually hardened plastic. The blue is my favorite style wise but that particular bezel is easily prone to scratches and dings. I've had 2 that did it and others report it as well. This may not matter to many as we all love these watches for the functionality. But this is a little out of the norm for the G-Shocks so thought worth mentioning. Of course a non-issue with the hardened plastic bezel. Also, these bezels are fixed.
You hinted at it but the versions with the negative display are just absolutely murder to read. SO highly recommend the positive display if one is actually going to use the watch vs make a fashion statement. LOL
This point also may not mean anything to most but this particular model is 100 percent manufactured and assembled at Casio's facilities in Japan. This is not true of most of G-Shocks' other watches. Even the Mudmaster and Rangeman are made in Thailand. Frogman is also 100 percent Japan made.
The feature I use the most that you skipped is the barometric alarm. You can switch the small dial from the tide function to an alarm that will notify you of any sudden change in Barometric pressure.
I've had less success with altitude readings than you have had but Barometer, Compass, and Temp have always been spot on after calibration.
Keep up the good work!
TNP'r since '09. Love the watch vids. Have acquired several based on your reviews and am completely satisfied. Also make a batch of nutnfancy chili from time to time.
Say it, Nutn: "Signal". "SIGnal". Sig. Nal. Not "single". Sig-nal. Love you, brother!
Watch guy checking in
Im LOVING my Protrek 6100..keep the watch reviews coming!! 😎👍 Did you get the newest Spyderco catalogue?? Its SWEET!!
Still wearing my digital matte grey Casio watch every week. I love the business look of the metal band but with the digital time readout
nice vid series - since i've calmed down w/ the watch collecting, these vids are fun to see what i'm missing - thanks nutn!
Glad to see one of the Master of G's here. Right up your alley Nutn!
555 Gear... Thee 555 gear?
We need a Nutnfancy pistol red dot philosophy, review, comparison video!
Nice watches though haha.
I don't think Nutnfancy really cares either way. If I am correct he kinda said as much in several videos.
Maximus Joseppi if I remember correctly, he doesn't like em that much, not much value for the weight you have to deal with
Joseph Francisco I think he may be wrong on his assessment though. I believe there is a huge value associated with red dots on handguns. A red dot had increased my skill exponentially, even with iron sights. Plus weight almost moot for nearly all red dots on handguns.
Joseph Francisco weight? The shield RMS weighs .6oz.... That's like the weight of 1 extra bullet...
As always, great review! I sure miss the longer format though...
Thanks a lot, Nutn. I'm poorer because of you! Seriously, thanks for the great review.
excellent review
Thanks Mrgunsngear, great to see you watching...thanks!
I agree 💯 casio is the real deal. It's my favorite watch as well. You are the best gear and gun tester out there which all other youtubers and tester should learn and look up to. 💪👍👍. Love the videos keep them coming no matter what they are.
Request: Can you review your diving equipment? I am in the market for diving equipment. Very interested in dive computer, mask, BCD and regulator. You did the knife part already. Your reviews do greatly influence by buying decisions.
I love my white GWN-1000 and GN-1000. Next up GWA-1000FC with the combi-bracelet
Sweet purchases
Just got this watch and I was wondering if you have a link to the extra keeper you have on there? It's a bummer that the strap comes loose. Thanks!
Review the Armourlite Isobrite T100. I got the US Army model and it's outstanding. T100 tritium (50 year glow) sapphire crystal, carbon fiber case, 200 ATM, swiss Ronda 415LI with 10 YEAR battery life. The US model has Flags on the dial and back with FDE color scheme. Very light rugged watch.
Great review as always
The blue watch matched your fins. Very nice
Great review! You're making me want to buy a watch, but I'm afraid I won't wear it enough to make it worth it.
Fortunately, this is one of the few TNP watches that I don't care for. The face is to small and busy (for me), and the same features (ABC, atomic, etc.) are available for less coinage. But thanks, brother Nutn, for bring us these toys.
+Todd. H. It's so cool lookin' though! The ring really adds just enough visual balance to let you know it's not just another g shock. But hey, other models can do it for cheaper, and all watches are a personal value call. :/ I can't totally say I would get it if I had the money over other similarly priced stuff, but I'm not huge into g shocks anyway. Doodle
Nutn' when are you going to get around to reviewing "sundials"? (love the WRVs! and your take on Casio)
Absolutely loving the watch videos! Check out the frogman.
Love my GWN-1000E
I want a Red one of these soooooooo bad oh my god if I could actually find a good deal on one I would take it in a heartbeat
You need to do a revew on the bucklite max made by buck knifes
Good review and cool watch but too big for me to carry every day and the price is too steep for a plastic Casio watch, yes it's solar and radio but still, not for 300$.
I'm sure these aren't your cup o tea nutn, but there are some sweet Filson watches 60% off on their website right now. I'm very ignorant on the topic but I think it'd have some "second kind o cool" factor.
Why were the two watches not completely ticking at the same time?
Ok, nice watch. Once again you have a keen insight on a product. Nothing for Nutn, but how about a philosophy vid? It's been awhile, always appreciate a common sense view, from another patriot.
Thanks for the vid. Are these better than the mudmaster or rangerman? No sunset or sunrise?? :)
Would this watch be good for out door survival like the back packing videos you do?
Very good review.
Is the wristband replaceable ?
Please do the schrade manila folder aka my 80's (02 born guy) throwback knife (again 02 born)
Would you like to borrow a GWG-1000 to review?
Casio Frogman has depth indicator.
will you buy a Patek or a Lange perhaps?
No way, insane pricing. I get a lot of cool with $300 and under
Hey Star Wars geek, great job with that yellow rolling text.
Edit. The force was strong throughout this review. haha
Hey nutn can you review the 586 L-comp from Smith and Wesson if you get a chance? I'd like your opinion on it
I'll try
nutnfancy thanks man! Love the videos keep it up brother!
I'm not really that interested in this watch. I just like TNP regardless. It's all good!
Cue the Star Wars music...
I don't care how great it is, paying upwards of $275.00 for a Casio is like buying the high end Acura which is a honda. Why spend the same money when you can get a Ferrari for the same price? Great review, you always convey great info but Casinos will always be a $30 watch to me no matter how much you spend on them.
Hmmm looks tacticool to me
Good review, but $13 dollar Japanese copy(S-Shock) does it for me.
This model is plaque by critical design fault. It's a terrible faulty watch.
Oh... lost me at $500
Come on nutn shoot something ride your bike
wow it's ugly wrist :D
how about a good old school wind-up watch. No batteries no solar just wind it up when you get your butt out of the sack...
