There are so many older G Shocks that still hold up to this day. Like half the line's designs are ten years old or more and they are still dope. For digital watches this is crazy.
I've the same gulfmaster, but blue. I love it: you can check the the tide charts with accuracy (I fish) and the compass has declination setting too. Every feature on that watch is accurate.
I have the same in blue with the bezel in aluminum mate. Things I don't like: the crown that makes it impossible to use it in water and mud, the 60min countdown timer with no auto repeat and the lack of snooze alarm. Besides that is the best price/features G-Shock. I suggest to check some Protrek that uses exactly the same module and features but the body is lighter and allows to use a 3rd party strap.
TQ. I would love to buy same model as yours. I am now considering one with gold bezel, but blue tinge on the dial. I think I will have no problem with size because I dont have a problem with my daily beater GW-9400 Rangeman size on my small wrist.
I got the Gravity Master GPW 2000 the other week, the keeper is great on it, the GPS is super accurate and like you say for a watch of this size its suprisingly comfortable like the GPW 2000. Im also tempted because of the ABC functionality.
The price of this model, ie old stock but BNIB new , has actually gone up this year alot in Asia... It is also the GWN-1000 with the most gold (Color) because the buckle on the strap is also gold not just the buttons... It's a great beautiful watch... If I had to nitpick I would only say the gold looks more like a brass-gold colour as opposed to bright yellow gold colour... Also, although many people say it is a big watch, the lug to lug is not large, because I have tiny wrists and yet have no problem wearing this watch at all and it looks fine. The watch is , I agree also, very very comfortable to wear...and this watch does not have the many small problems of its brother GWN-Q1000.
I didn’t even know this one existed… very interesting model. I still think I visually prefer the mudmaster, but this got me thinking 😁 great review! Cheers
Imagine if they let us have a real new age version of it. edit: the ggb100 and grb200 dont have the quad sensor but you can manipulate the figure 8 at two points to simulate it.
I sold this for a protrek 6600...😅 functionality is similar but this watch is thick and heavy, has slippery and long strap that always slip out of the band keeper it's so annoying 😅

I don't like the colour combination, but as a piece of engineering it's brilliant.
What a magnificent timepiece. Thanks for sharing your passion about this model! 👌

My quad sensor gulfmaster MB has been the best in my collection and still works excellently

Any chance you'll do a full length video tutorial? I just got one and I always find out some good and useful things from your videos.
Love the gold on black with small pops of blue.
I love this channel so much, you got unique taste!

Lembro muito bem do lancamento desse modelo e fiquei muito apaixonado e sonhando em ter um, ai veio o gwn-q1000 e fiquei mais deslumbrado com ele
What exact model is this cos there’s alot of GWN1000
That is a good looking watch, I should check into it some more! 😉
Greetings from Greece. Please make a tutorial for the 5371 module!

Awesome watch bro", Awesome channel !!

That watch looks ridiculous on your wrist lol its insane
Did you just say mip display square??as in dw h5600??
No, not that kind of display, but close
The watch is clearly nice. But it is so big. It is commonly unbearable on day to day office work.
I don’t think it’s built for office work
How do you calibrate the compass. I’ve tried everything in the Manuel and nothing.
