No retaining mechanism, I'd be afraid to turn it clockwise, you could pull it out of the mount if you snag on something. The legs block the underside of the bike making putting pans and tools more difficult than traditional stands. I see some benifit, but I'll choose to just careful and not trip in my standard paddock stands. How much did YOU pay? Or was this a freebie? At near $500, plus additional $120 for each mount-I'll pass. Nice video though, thanks for sharing.
I love all your videos, but I especially love this one. It completely show cased real bumps or troubles we hit working on our babies. More than happy to spend money every single time!
CycleCruza. You inspire me. I have been working on my bike for a month now. My limits are funds, and how long I can work before the pain gets to me. The funds is modest. I budget atleast a hundo every month. The pain sometimes it hurts to lay down, but when I'm not behind a tool on her I am in the repair manuals and parts catalogs.
I rode my husky 701 for the first time today and CC was right! Supermotos are the most fun bikes I can confirm, after having a z900 (amazing machine) cheers!
Great bikes and look good club style. Just a heads up if you didn't know, they are notorious for having a bad death wobble. This can be fixed by replacing the stock neck bearings with Alls Balls or similar after market bearings. If you let go of the handle bars and it shakes at all, it's an easy fix.
Never had one of those but they seem decent, every tool has it's purpose. It must be nice if you're building a project bike or doing work over time where you can just leave it on there with no wheels and roll it around as needed, when done for the day or week just tuck it back in the corner.
That's a nice stand but it's pretty expensive, I have 4 bikes lol, and seems to block access to the side it's attached to. BTW, when you get your new place you have to install the LED ceiling lights. I just did mine and it's literally a day and night difference from the florescent. Super easy to install too!
looks good when you got everything setup but too much work having to remove frame bolts. Over time you're adding wear and tear to those critical frame bolt locations. When you get your bike serviced, you're still not done after moving it off the lift.
Looks nice. I have front & rear stands and the front stand is not very convenient to use. The good news is that I only need the rear stand most of the time (chain maintenance, oil changes).
I've got one of these and would say it's worth every penny. Looks like you may have to adjust the front up slightly to have the bike level, although the fine adjustment may be a little tedious to get it 100% you only need to do it once.
I love the stand but this was the most difficult sleeve install I've done. It would have been nice if there were instructions saying the security torx bolt has locktite and needs heat to remove it. At least you all know now to avoid going through what I did. Yeah you can adjust the level but I like it a bit jacked up in the back.
Yup Kawi does the same with their loctite.. I have to use either my electric or hammer impact. I still use my harbor freight $279 hydraulic lift. Not nearly as maneuverable but I like working on a bike standing up. I'll probably still pick one of these up just to play bike shuffle puck
I'd run a strap around the lift to a frame bar somewhere just so it can't walk out of those slots over time. It's probably almost impossible but it would make me feel better when pulling on the bike.
Looked at that lift 6 months ago. It is a really nice system. BUT (of course there is a "But") they have raised the price since then. Instead of $389 with a $50 adapter kit, it is now $489 + CA TAX. Adapter is now $120. Oh no no no. I'll take my $600+ and go for a nice ride. Still have front&rear lifts. I guess i will just have to remember to drop my kick stand. Thanks anyway.
On my Suzuki the comparable frame...bolts have a white stripe on them, and all are listed on one page in the service manual's periodic maintenance (first 600 miles, 3000 thereafter), but all out of torque order. Loctite overkill... Makes me wonder if that one is listed on such a page. Can't dance with a center stand, but super handy.
Would be so much more appealing if they could make it adjustable instead of having to keep changing (and re buying) extra adaptor plates....I feel like that has to be possible but what do I know
How long have you had this stand? Any issues with the bike ever falling off the stand? Next, how long can you store the bike on the stand? Looks amazing but pricey!

Luckily, I never did it. However, one time I did think the kickstand was fully down and it wasn't and my cbr1000rr nearly went down but I caught it with my cat-like reflexes.
Takes seconds. What's better about this stand is you can take off the wheels and even the motor but yet move the bike easily out of the way anytime. With traditional stands it ain't going nowhere. Just to be able to maneuver the bike around easy is awesome.
Shortly after I got my brand new Aprilia RSV4, I bought front and back paddock stands for it. Got them fitted and had my bike on them until I was going to take it out for a ride. Took the front stand off and then the back, quickly realizing the kick stand was up. Immediate terror ensued. Luckily, I was between the bike and my SUV and was able to keep the bike from tipping by bracing myself against the SUV. Never again. I certainly learned my lesson
Those stands are good but limiting. With this Bursig stand you can remove the bike's wheels, engine, etc and still easily move the bike around and out of the way unlike traditional stands. With regular stands the bike is stuck in one spot.

Worst design in motorcycle are exhaust pipes under the frame so ya can't use a jack
I need one of these for my fz07
Man I want to do the exhaust as well but I live in Cali😢 2019 Mt 09
Do It anyway, I did. Never had a problem, save the old exhaust worst case scenario you get a ticket put it back on
$480 for the stand and $120 for the adaptor plate not including tax? Yeah I rather get two regular stands.
💪🏼
There’s a live button now he should do a live stream
Billy Idol. Dancing with my bike oh oh oh oh oh, thumbs up
lol
@@CycleCruza didn't Billy Idol have a effed- up day on his motorcycle a few years back.
What a pain in the ass and use an impact for shit like that.
there is always that one bolt that just says "no".
You’re using that torque wrench wrong.
ya I dont want to mess with my bolts
Not true about removing rear stand and your bike going down I use my front stand by itself all the time
Luckily, I never did it. However, one time I did think the kickstand was fully down and it wasn't and my cbr1000rr nearly went down but I caught it with my cat-like reflexes.
Does not fit my bike :(
It not from the heater it from muscle witch u don’t have
Seems like your doing a lot to just jack up the bike. Space is a huge problem in my garage. I have room for the stands but not that. Lol
Takes seconds. What's better about this stand is you can take off the wheels and even the motor but yet move the bike easily out of the way anytime. With traditional stands it ain't going nowhere. Just to be able to maneuver the bike around easy is awesome.
Its mad 🤙
Haha you got more space to add more bikes again
hell yeah! Right now I want to buy a sick side by side.
Of course the factory would put thread locker on it.
It would have been nice to tell me in the instructions. lol The service manual doesn't even say it has locktite on the bolt.
Dude, almost 500€ for a stand! :D
Why the pants man
Oh Dudfe, that stand is just too too much money .
For the elitists I’m guessing. To pricey for me. Definitely like it
Dance Wid it bby
Cyclecruza wheres ur cars?
Get a Dynomoto stand
Fancy but nah I will stick with my Pitbull stands they do the job for me but everyone’s different
Those stands are good but limiting. With this Bursig stand you can remove the bike's wheels, engine, etc and still easily move the bike around and out of the way unlike traditional stands. With regular stands the bike is stuck in one spot.
It's truly awesome, I just need to make more money lol
I wanna dance with my bikes too :(
All those stands are bullshit. The lack of center stands on today's motorcycles is nothing less than an outrage.
The stand may be amazing, but the bike, not so much lol! j/k ..... CC never buy cheap tools, now you know why, I'm glad you got things working!
IMPACT DRIVERS REMOVE ANY NUT or BOLT LIKE BUTTER.
Ayyy
