@@aaronsweeting1781 I also own a ABBA skylift and it is awesome. The bursig looks like it only lifts just off the floor and only $100 cheaper! No Brainer ABBA for me.
Used a SkyLift for around 3 years now, couldn’t be without it when maintaining, washing, detailing, changing my own tyres ... It’s so trustworthy, I’ve had Busa’s a ZZR14 raised on it for weeks, it’s simple by design which sold it for me because the best things in life are the simplest right! Yes you have to pump it to raise it with either a foot peddle or a bar, yes you need to use a strap for some lifting positions and yes there is a technique when placing the bike on but, and in my opinion not a big but! That little bit of input engages you to make certain that you can be safe in the knowledge that when your head is under that thing it’s staying where it should purely because of the security that is designed in. For oil collection etc. When working on the bike I use a long plastic plant pot tray placed on the legs, I Velcro it on. I can’t comment on the other lifts as I don’t have one but I bought the ABBA SkyLift after using the ABBA Stand for a number of years based on simplicity, longevity an durability. One thing, you need a flat surface if you’re going to get the most out of any of the frame pivot stands, the wheels struggle with rough surfaces. Great for parking the bike in tight spaces if the floor is smooth too. Each to their own though, doubt you’ll go far wrong with either but my money’s on ABBA for durability and stability. A good review Mr Cruze.
Hi, interesting review! I ordered an Abba skylift too, hopefully it'll arrive within a week or so. You make a few valid points about the skylift that could be a downside. The amount of "pumps" needed to lift the bike has been reduced in the latest version, since they changed the diameter of the pump piston. To raise the bike as high as on the Bursig stand requires only a few pumps. BTW if that height is all you need, you might want to compare the Bursig stand with Abba's superbike stand. It's a base model that can be expanded to do rougly the same as the Bursig stand (including the "lift in 1 lever action" bit) but even with all the options it's much cheaper than the Bursig. While I agree that having to clip on the stand to both sides of the bike is not as easy as hooking in 2 pins on the same side, it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. From the videos I've seen it looks comparable to matching up the 'hooks' on a paddock stand to the bobbins on the rear swingarm. Not having a permanently fitted adapter plate to the bike permanently is a bonus. The "fitting kits" for Abba are just some simple turned steel pips that you can easily make yourself if you have a lathe. For a professional shop you simply need a lifting table like the Harbor Freight one you have. For most hobbyists the Skylift seems to be the ducks guts ;-)
So I really like your channel and rarely comment... But I just had to provide my opinion on these bike stands, to save folks from making a bad choice. Now, I did plenty of research prior to purchasing my Abba Skylift. In my opinion, The Abba stand is so much better than any of those other stands you have. I say this because the Abba stand is able to lift every bike there is. With the Bursig stand, you have to buy a different adapter plate for each and every bike, which means it’s gonna cost you more than the Abba skylift if you have more than one bike to work on. The harbor freight table is cool if you don’t plan on taking off the wheels, swing arm, forks, or shock... But the harbor freight stand still requires you to use bike stands on the forks and swingarm when using it...? Unlike the Abba Skylift. The Abba stand is very sturdy and isn’t difficult to set-up and use at all. It also allows you to move the bike around the shop while lifted, just like the Bursig. In addition, the Abba stand allows you to raise the bike just as high as the Harbor freight lift. I’ve torn down and built multiple bikes with the Abba stand and it’s been the best investment I’ve ever made. In addition, their customer service was on point when I originally ordered it and was missing a part. In my opinion, The Abba Skylift is the best option by far for its versatility, quality construction, and maneuverability. It has worked flawlessly on my RC51, GSXR-1000, ZX7’s, and my ZX9R. If you want versatility and a quality tool, the Abba Skylift is the way to go, hands down...
The one thing you didnt talk about is the fact that if you get the harbor freight table lift its 200 dollars. the rear stand 100 to 200 dollars depending on what you get plus the front stand another 100 to 200 dollars. so in reality all 3 methods are around the same price. the only benefit to the table lift like you said is that it catches all the fluids :D
what makes a platform stand a better option is that it doesn't block any areas you might need to get into even a scissor jack blocks a small portion under the bike which usually ends up being right where the drain plug is or where you want to put the drain pan
I commented here 2 years ago when I had the Bursig, Once I sold my ZX14 the stand did not support my new to me but older bike I got, 96 ZX1100D. Now I expected to keep the ZX1100D for a while, in fact I still have it and I also bought a ZX-9R which the Bursig supports. However I sold the Bursig stand before getting the ZX-9R. Now fast forward to this year and late Sept I bought a 2020 H2 SX SE which Bursig supports and I plan to sell my other two bikes or at minimum the ZX-9R. So now I am looking for a stand, I want the Bursig again as my rear stands dont support teh H2 and the ZX1100 does not have spools. SO my choice today is a single sided rear Pit Bull stand or just use the bikes centre stand but I need a stand for the front to remove wheel and such. Dilema, a Pit Bull front stand on the cheap (not really cheap) w centre stand or a Bursig and this time just keep it.. ugh I should never have sold it and kicking myself in the ass now
I have been trying to buy a Bursig stand for three months their customer service is horrible Revzilla sales the stand but they don’t have the adapter plate Bursig acts like they don’t want to make the adapter plate for my bike which is 15 ZX14. I might just go with the ABBA.
the motorcycle floor jack that harbor freight sells is awesome too. the 189 dollar one. it lifted my sportster no sweat. i havent lifted my dads goldwing with it yet because its in storage. but i have no doubt that it will lift it! i was able to use the 20% off coupon that harbor freight gives out in their monthly catalogue.
Thanks I couldn't remember if you did awhile back .Repsol looks great .Good job .I put a tre on my gixxer it made a big difference. Gear indicator says 5th all the time now.
i was looking at either the Bursig stand or the Abba sky lift, yes the Abba is about $150 more expensive but it's well worth it. only real issue with the Bursig is if you want to change your bike the bike plates are $120 plus $25 for shipping. the Abba only costs $35 and shipping is free. all three of these bike stands are close to the same price, spend a little more and buy the Abba.
For $299 you can't beat the Harbor Freight lift table, if you have the room. Bike goes on and off easy and fast, you have a place for tools, no worries about leaks or spills on the table. Abba takes too much prep for my liking and no place to collect fluids on put tools on.
I've been thinking about the harbor freight lift for a while now. The price is very attractive. The bursig stand is awesome though, I haven't heard of it until now.
Don't think, get the HF lift table. You can't beat $299, just sucks having to go get it and bring it home. I did post a link in the description section for one that can be delivered to you but costs more. It's awesome! Bursig is great too!
For the money the skylight only an extra 100bucks is a great deal it offers much more adaptability if your going to be working on your bike in small spaces and it'll keep you off your knees when working on it. Plus I feel its more safe as it's locked in on 2 to 3 more hard points on the bike
The Bursig lift is better if you only have, or work on, one bike. It's super simple once set up. The Abba Sky Lift is superior if you have, or work on, multiple bikes. The Harbor Freight Lift Table is good on its own accord, or in addition to the aforementioned lifts - IF you have the space.
How can you do a review on something you have never owned or tried? The Abba lift is incredible, try it and you’ll see for yourself. Harbor Freight is is your typical cheap solution that does the job but generally mediocre quality.
use a regular cardboard box, cut the edges and lay it flat double layed. Leave it under your bike to catch dripping oil. The blue mechanix paper towels you buy at autoparts store soak up good too
Holy shit, did this guy just make a excellent, interesting and informative video with out dropping the f-bomb or cussing up a storm? I don't know whether to say Awesome, or wonder if this is a sign of the Apocalypse. lol . Great job.
CycleCruza I will be watching more, I think you get your points across quite well. There is no need to sound like trailer park trash to get your thoughts across. Awesome video
great review. if i was to buy a bursig center stand i would modify it with a bottle Jack that would lift it bike up more after mounting it to the stand. than 5". otherwise the harbor freight set up is the way to go
i was wondering because the abba stand need so much prep, is it possible to put the adapterplate from the bursig on the abba stand so you convert the abba also in a plug and play kind of stand ? or do you think thats a horrible idea?
Yo Cruza, what cruiser is good for a man who is 6'2"? I had a v rod, but it had my back like a C vs upright and I'm to fresh to riding for the seX diavel...
The Abba skylift is great except when you lower your bike from factory stance like I have then there is a problem. I own a 93 gsxr 1100 and 2020 hayabusa both have been lowered and I can't use the Abba now.
i would say since you dont plan on working on the ducati, the bursig is the way to go but for real maintenance or work the skylift or table is the way to go
ive heard the harbor freight lift tables tip over, ive seen a good deal for it in a local shop but idk if iwant to buy it just to tip over my bike is it worth it ?
Cyclecruza I love you're videos very informative makes me want to get a duo sport for my own my I want to ask you if you wil try and review a 2 cylinder super bike like a ktm superduke or something keep up the good work!
I don't see why not. My late brother went from a 250cc dirt bike to a cbr900rr for his first street bike and was a boss on it. It all depends on how you feel your skill level is. It will be a HUGE difference, when I went from the cbr250r to the 2008 cbr600rr it was like night and day, scary fun. Best of luck!
How are you going to review something you don't even own? Here is how your review should have gone: 1. Harbor Freight Lift: Cheap, kind of works, takes up a lot of room 2. Bursig Stand: Does the same thing as a front/rear stand in terms of height, lets you spin your bike in a circle 3: Abba Skylift: Costs more, lifts the bike to a height that allows more than toddlers to work on the bike, basically does everything better than the first two 4. Conclusion: Buy the Abba Skylift because its clearly the better option Side note: Don't review a product you've clearly never used
Good thing you had them all up there on your vid, I’d take the sky lift, versatility wise as you can tilt the bike up that high … good for maintenance on fork removal, exhaust cleaning and detailing the bottom tight portion of the bike ... also mobile and without bending much ... update update, just got abba skylift for the 1098 sstrertfighter 9 ( $699. 00) shipped from 🇬🇧 and additional 15 buck for the adapter of the 1199 Panigale. ... I’d share the vid later
Own an ABBA stand and Superduke GT. The thing about the ABBA stand is because you can raise the bike horizontal and high cleanning tires, rims, chain, exhaust, under the bike etc is a breeze. I looked at the adapter for my bike on Bursig website the astetics was not to my liking.
Your review of the Abba Skylift is extremely shortcoming and biased. For an extra $100, the Abba Skylift is far more versatile and superior to the Bursig stand. Anyone willing to spend $500/$600 for a stand shouldn't be concerned in the least with the extra $100 for the Abba stand seeing that you get so much more bang for the buck.
I can raise my Ducati V2 3ft in the air and get on it! ABBA Skylift 1000% satisfied! Try to put that Diavel up and get on it...see how secure you feel on that Burleigh. Plus my ABBA has pins for 500+ bikes
Coming here from your recent video (3-20-2019) on the Bursig. I have to say that the Abba is far superior. Sure it costs a bit more. But like you said yourself, you get what you pay for. I absolutely love the Abba stand! Don't get me wrong, the Bursig is a great stand. But I just think that you get more versatility with the Abba.
You know Cyclecruza, I'm disappointed in this video. You named the video "Abba SKYLIFT Vs Bursig Stand Vs Harbor Frieght Lift Table" then made a review without any hands on use of the Abba Skylift at all. You are one of my go to channels when it comes to info about motorcycles. If you would have actually used the stand and then given an opinion...
Damn the bursig stand is pretty expensive in the US 😅 maybe we germans get discount but mine costed with shipping/rolls/plate everything around 430€ in total 😁✌️🏍️
Abba SKYLIFT sells a kit with ALL motorcycle adapters, it's much much cheaper than trying to buy all the damn adapters for the bursig and they dont' discount them, I have 4 bikes in the garage, 3 of them would work with the abba, and I promise you that none of those stands will work with my Rocket 3.
lol..the bursig, you can't lift the bike high so you don't have to work on your knees.the abba skylift,it lift the bike so high that you are able to work underneath the bike in the stand up position.you miss the point by a mile
I'm not biased or in anyway affiliated with any company ... But I must say this comparison is incredibly unserious... How can you review the Abba sky lift without having even been near it.. and one of your arguments is about fluids? I can only be easier with a lift there you can move the bike up (or down) to any height ... people check some of the other independent videos about lifts...
Yea but you cannot get the height out of the Bursig stand that you can with the abba. The Abba skylift destroys all the alternatives, especially that harbor freight junk. That harbor freight lifts hydro cylinder will peter out on you, guaranteed. Just my opinion via trial and error that EVERYTHING in harbor freights store is just garbage, cheap garbage. You get what you pay for, and the Abba skylift is the best investment I've ever made when it comes to maintenance aids. Plus the quality they put into that product is hands down "primo".
To my opinion. Harbor Freight Stan the best one you can work on it lifted up we don't have to bend down. the other one I don't see no reason why to have it unless you're going to the track meet anything else than that is Is just worthless paying so much money
Hey CC how can this Campisi guy give away this sick Ducati he is working on are the Tube watchers paying for the give away...???? I know you made mention about something like this what's up with this ..???
I've never heard anyone ever say their bike fell off a Bursig stand, go read the comments in the review video I did, people said they had it for years and it is great.

I have the skylift it's amazing, no bending while working on your bike I love it!!
Thanks for sharing your insight! Looks cool.
Agree lamp chop skylift is great not hard to setup
Tell him the rest though. It's the Abba stand. Whenever you pivot the bike it plays "Danging Queen". but other then that, pretty cool.
I never imagined something so cool.
I have my Bursig , used it for my Blackbird and now my ZX1400 , I have no issues with it simple and can do everything I need to
Abba skylift is far superior and more useful
I just ordered the sky lift will give you input next week ,will be used on a 2022 Hayabusa 🦅🇺🇸🦅🏍

So you didn't actually try the Abba skylift...,..
SKYLIFT is far better than either of those. Love mine.
You have to buy bike spacific adaptors for the ABBA Sky lift they are not as expensive as Bursig or Bike-Tower but ar required.
How is this a comparison when you never bothered to try the ABBA lift? All you did is try to slam a product you know nothing about.
Sky lift + small table + drip pan = no oil spill 🤷🏻♂️😂
To catch fluids try using a concrete mixing tray from lowes or Home Depot . They also work great as a kitty litter bin
It's great you do your own Maintenance on your Bikes. You have some nice setups in your garage.
I might just go with the ABBA.
the motorcycle floor jack that harbor freight sells is awesome too. the 189 dollar one. it lifted my sportster no sweat. i havent lifted my dads goldwing with it yet because its in storage. but i have no doubt that it will lift it! i was able to use the 20% off coupon that harbor freight gives out in their monthly catalogue.
cool!
*NEW VIDEO:* Bursig Center Lift Stand Long Term Review: ua-cam.com/video/2rLcKPOmkzw/v-deo.html
The Harbor Fraet lift comes with a place to put your favorite beverage Ect.
I don't know whether to say Awesome, or wonder if this is a sign of the Apocalypse. lol . Great job.
Man I stopped cussing a long time ago, ever since YT started demonetizing videos.
CycleCruza I will be watching more, I think you get your points across quite well. There is no need to sound like trailer park trash to get your thoughts across. Awesome video
great review. if i was to buy a bursig center stand i would modify it with a bottle Jack that would lift it bike up more after mounting it to the stand. than 5". otherwise the harbor freight set up is the way to go
Aye, you showed revzilla with the stand for 489 and the adapter for 120. If you buy it straight from Bursig, it’s 550 for the stand and the adapter.
Won’t leaving the harbor freight table up like that for long periods of time ruin the hydraulics faster?
I only put it up for the video or when I'm working on it. I do not leave it up for long periods of time without using it.
doesn't the HF lift have a peg that allows you to lock the table in the lifted position with the hydraulic cylinder unpressurized?
yes@@antiekeradio
Th Abba Skylift has that too. Jack the bike up, put in the locking pin then release the pressure off the hydraulics.
Can you lift a hayabusa with a extended swingarm with the stands
i was wondering because the abba stand need so much prep, is it possible to put the adapterplate from the bursig on the abba stand so you convert the abba also in a plug and play kind of stand ? or do you think thats a horrible idea?
Yo Cruza, what cruiser is good for a man who is 6'2"? I had a v rod, but it had my back like a C vs upright and I'm to fresh to riding for the seX diavel...
You should be fine on a xdiavel, go test ride one but make sure it is in SPORT MODE!!
CycleCruza idk, if i drop her i may slit my wrists lol.
lol getcomprehensive insurance!
The Abba skylift is great except when you lower your bike from factory stance like I have then there is a problem. I own a 93 gsxr 1100 and 2020 hayabusa both have been lowered and I can't use the Abba now.
i would say since you dont plan on working on the ducati, the bursig is the way to go but for real maintenance or work the skylift or table is the way to go
I'm def going for the ramp,£500 here in the uk for a decent one but the only way to go for me
Youre awesome bro! Love the videos. Keepup the great work man!
Thanks! I appreciate it. Take care.
Great video. Love your honesty.
ive heard the harbor freight lift tables tip over, ive seen a good deal for it in a local shop but idk if iwant to buy it just to tip over my bike is it worth it ?
Only morons experience a tip over. This table is rock solid.
CycleCruza what do you mean? They dont use locks or something?
Cyclecruza I love you're videos very informative makes me want to get a duo sport for my own my I want to ask you if you wil try and review a 2 cylinder super bike like a ktm superduke or something keep up the good work!
I've been riding 250cc four stroke dirt bikes for about 3 years would a 600cc street bike be good for my first street bike?
I don't see why not. My late brother went from a 250cc dirt bike to a cbr900rr for his first street bike and was a boss on it. It all depends on how you feel your skill level is. It will be a HUGE difference, when I went from the cbr250r to the 2008 cbr600rr it was like night and day, scary fun. Best of luck!
CycleCruza Thanks! I think ill start on a street legal supermoto 450 but after the 450 ill go to a 600 👍
I was on a crf250r and just got my first street bike FZ6, r6 engine DE-tuned a tiny bit and its perfect.
You will be fine. Make sure you get some miles in b4 you become a red light bandit😬
R6RR1000 fear it and you will be fine
How are you going to review something you don't even own? Here is how your review should have gone: 1. Harbor Freight Lift: Cheap, kind of works, takes up a lot of room 2. Bursig Stand: Does the same thing as a front/rear stand in terms of height, lets you spin your bike in a circle 3: Abba Skylift: Costs more, lifts the bike to a height that allows more than toddlers to work on the bike, basically does everything better than the first two 4. Conclusion: Buy the Abba Skylift because its clearly the better option
Side note: Don't review a product you've clearly never used
what do you think about a center stand
Good thing you had them all up there on your vid, I’d take the sky lift, versatility wise as you can tilt the bike up that high … good for maintenance on fork removal, exhaust cleaning and detailing the bottom tight portion of the bike ... also mobile and without bending much ... update update, just got abba skylift for the 1098 sstrertfighter 9 ( $699. 00) shipped from 🇬🇧 and additional 15 buck for the adapter of the 1199 Panigale. ... I’d share the vid later
Cool, share your experience with it!
The lift table you also have to buy 2 regular stands.
Just started viewing your videos, great job. Loved the "grow a pair " video. Sensitive riders. CLE
Great video and very informative as I am trying to narrow down a lift or stand!
The older you get, the nicer it is to not have to bend to work on your bike...
It sucks bending at any age, I never liked it. lol I love this HF table, now I enjoy working on the bikes.
Skylift is by far the most versatile, however a table is good if you happen to have a chinese scootah!
I can raise my Ducati V2 3ft in the air and get on it! ABBA Skylift 1000% satisfied! Try to put that Diavel up and get on it...see how secure you feel on that Burleigh. Plus my ABBA has pins for 500+ bikes
The abba stand my buddy has isnt the skylift and instead of the pneumatic pump it has a strap that you have to tighten
You should do top 5 reasons not to get on your bike .Example, when your sick,tired,mad,.....
I did way back! lol
Skylift is way better! I have one and it's awesome. Very sturdy. Good casters and can roll my ZX14R around easily.
Thanks for sharing your insight!
Great videos! Eager to watch your next video.
Seems like your well kitted out 👍
Great info, lots to chew on since I'm a newbe on stands. Thanks for the education.
block of wood and a home depo bucket is all i need, and some strength to lift the bike.
Bursig is out of stock am waiting for one
Cyclecruza🤘🤘
You know Cyclecruza, I'm disappointed in this video. You named the video "Abba SKYLIFT Vs Bursig Stand Vs Harbor Frieght Lift Table" then made a review without any hands on use of the Abba Skylift at all. You are one of my go to channels when it comes to info about motorcycles. If you would have actually used the stand and then given an opinion...
Let’s go fora riiiideee
Damn the bursig stand is pretty expensive in the US 😅 maybe we germans get discount but mine costed with shipping/rolls/plate everything around 430€ in total 😁✌️🏍️
When are you going to give us some Slyde Action wooo 🎉
When this shitty weather gets better. Next week is supposed to be better, hopefully I can get out and ride.
Please make walkaround video of this new cbr1000rr mod cyclecruzaaaaa
lol..the bursig, you can't lift the bike high so you don't have to work on your knees.the abba skylift,it lift the bike so high that you are able to work underneath the bike in the stand up position.you miss the point by a mile
Bursig is made in china by sumomoto (so is Warrior & spider just re badged) & was originally invented by a UK guy who was stitched up & copied.
I am getting handmade bursig-like stand for ~150$. Made by some local guy. No need to pay for a logo when construction is soooo easy.
Nice reviews.
Another good review thanks Cruza
Thanks for viewing!
Thank you for this cruza
intuitive information on the lift stands !
awsome vlog !!
CycleCruza would you ever buy an electric bike? I hear the torgue on e-bikes can't be beat.
I never tried one, will have to though!
But guys ,if you really can't get it up, my Ex can help.
To my opinion. Harbor Freight Stan the best one you can work on it lifted up we don't have to bend down. the other one I don't see no reason why to have it unless you're going to the track meet anything else than that is Is just worthless paying so much money
HF lift table is awesome! I love it.
You be on it cant miss you on shit 👍👍
really nice stuff
Hi cyclecruza from the philippines
Hey! Thanks for viewing!
Hey CC how can this Campisi guy give away this sick Ducati he is working on are the Tube watchers paying for the give away...???? I know you made mention about something like this what's up with this ..???
That Harbor lift is now $599.............
Dang!
ABBA stands are awesome
Fucking want one so bad. But I have a wife FUCK!!!
whole video is showing two inferior products with no demo of the skylift
Any fear of the bike falling off the Bursig stand?
No, it's on solid. Otherwise, I wouldn't risk using it on my ducati.
Dear CycleCruza I always thought u was a Black man and then ur white hand showed up....Please tell me ur a black man with a white hand....😳
1st 10 Comments!!
Bla bla bla
Abba stands rock! If your bike falls off the Bursig, you'll wish you'd bought the stronger Abba stand.
I've never heard anyone ever say their bike fell off a Bursig stand, go read the comments in the review video I did, people said they had it for years and it is great.
