I have this 1987 Suzuki 300 ATV and The color is orange !! And let me tell you it was horrible looking but after watching your video learning how to do this I was shock!! Seeing the results after it was done.... think you sir for your videos.. God bless you and your family and stay safe..
Thank you sir for the opportunity to watch you do this, I have quad that I made and I was ready to paint it solid color but I am now doing it your way,I thank you again.......
I have used this same method on several older shotguns that needed help. I call it a grass pattern and use your same methodology, except on guns it helps to use an oil cutter for the paint to stick properly, and I also use a matte clear coat to harden up the finished paint job!
Phenomenal !!!!! I did a camo job on an ATV a couple years ago and thought I did a good job. I was wrong, but now I know how to make it right. Thanks very much.
I have been looking for something a bit different to try on my Big Bear ATV Project and i think that i just found it by watching your video. Simple and yet effective... Thanks for sharing.
I did this too an old s10 a while back. I used hard wood, oak and maple leaves, twigs and some grasses it turned out really professional. I actually had people offer me money too paint thier stuff. little do they know its super easy too do.
Awesome job buddy. Your a master at this. I've tried a few times with different colors and styles, but nothing ever came out that great. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration.
Did a great job on your video !!! That has to be the best "How To Camouflage Paint" I have watched. And I watch quite a few !!! Thank you for taking the time to show your talent !!!
Can't thank you enough for thus video. Not only did my 4 wheeler look amazing but I also feel completely comfortable after doing it only once to do it on the race car! Definitely need to sand the plastic to give the paint some grip. I can literally take my arctic cat 400 hunting.
I gotta say, I was a little skeptical with the video title, and it being a 'driveway paint job' but holy cow that turned out amazing. Would like to see some pictures of it 'in the wild' at various ranges, as well. VERY well done!
I really appreciate this video Im also in Florida an have done many camo paint job with nobody ever explaining it to me I’ve done my buggy my mud trucks my Jeep several jon boats my two canoes an I’m currently doing my pond Prowler an a pelican intruder an I’ve never done such a great job people can’t get over how good it looks an it’s thanks to this video so thank you very much. The only problem now is theses boats parked next to my previous trucks and boats I’ve already done now they look horrible lol I’m definitely going to have to redo them. Btw you keep calling the deep frst green olive draft an olive green the forest green just so you no. But thanks again guys.
I've used the boat only 7 times so far. The paint has held up really well. Even after dragging the boat in and out of the water and on the ground , the bottom looks fine. Only a few minor scratches. It actually looks better than the camo wraps which often has repeated camo patterms. I used leaves, grass, ferns and a homemade cattail stencil.
Thank you so much, for giving me the confidence to Paint my 1977 popup camper that was beaten up looking with a shade of shit brown colour. lol live in New Zealand so using a lot of shades a green. You show it really is easy to do . cheers .
This is what I started looking for a year ago, camo made easy, explains does and don'ts, clear to the point speaking. Only one issue, he forgot to tell us Yankees what to use for stencils. All my Palms and Palmeadows froze out years ago!
looks great, thanks for the advice...rustoleum is 8 bucks a can in kanada (we have always been taken advantage of on corporate prices- even if it is made here)...God bless...doug
Awesome job! I just picked up a 2006 Rhino 660 which is a faded green. I was thinking of getting a vinyl camo wrap for it until I saw this vid. Thank you!!!
Wow! Fantastic job! Honestly, I thought it was gunna be another guy with a can in each hand and one in his mouth, going at it. That turned out great. Would love to see you with a paint gun, a Jon boat and some clear coat. Hell, paint a truck to match!
Good Job Bucko,, I specifically like the way you narrated and explained your method and style. I myself am an Auto-Painter Extraordinaire. I am UA-caming just checking different painters styles. I am getting ready to do a Kandy Kamo with Thermochromic paint and a Chameleon Pearl Clear-coat topcoat. .
Nice I have a XJ jeep I painted the army green color . Now it's time to camo it. U gave me an idea I'm goin do it like u did your side By side..I'm goin go to the store at Walmart or dollar tree an see what type of plant I find lol
I've done a lot of camo trucks and this guy gets it! Must use 3 color minimum and black is mandatory for depth and shadowing. The more layers the better but keep in mind that enamal paint is soft even when cured so best to leave door handles and areas of abuse alone or use bedliner to blackout.. Great video!
Excellent! I'm just trying to figure out how to camouflage paint my trash can (So I can hide it behind the tree in my front yard before placing it out to the curbside for pickup on the collection day). I was thinking that I need to cut some pattern on paper to do that... . Your method is way much better!!! Thank you!!!!
I want to camo my tent for stealth camping. Can I use this method for much more flexible surfaces like a tent's waterproof tarp cover or it will peel off over time? Camouflage netting would be a much easier off the shelf solution, but painting the tent itself would be a more lightweight option because it doesn't need any extra stuff to carry in my backpack.
That was incredible but I think that maybe you made it appear a little easier than it actually is. I will try it on the backside of my shop before doing my motorhome, thanx!
Nope, just as easy as that if you follow these steps and use a little bit of your creativeness and it will come out great. If not, paint over and try again.
Main principle of camo is to break up any recognizable hard edges, so you don't really want random at all, but rather customize your pattern for the object to be camouflaged, considering angles it's most likely to be viewed from. Second major principle, of course, is matching the pattern to the environment you'll be operating in. Both of these seem obvious, but I've seen a lot of bad camo jobs that would have worked had they remembered these two principles. :)
i want to add some leafy/grassy pattern to a pair of camo pants....do you think this paint would work for that? i was thinking about blending some cotton and polyester dye in small spray bottles...various colors...and using it to spray...i would have to squeeze the sprayer bottle rather than the can tip...but i thought dye might be better than spray paint. rit dye makes various shades of dye...in both cotton and poly dye...my pants a poly/cotton blend....i figure if i mix the dye...it should work somehow on the fabric...
Great job!! I just washed my Rhino today. Can you use Brown instead of Black? And can you CLEAR COAT over the top at the end, maybe a matte clear coat to keep the sheen down?
Fantastic job. I got a big old RV and I want to do the same, but I cant hold big tree branches and a rattlecan at the same time. Got some time on your hands buddy?
Not bad! Where do you drive that? "Oh just from my condo to the golf course n back. The camo works great when Im trying to throw my ball back into fair play! I always score under par!"🤣😉

Backwoods Gourmet Channel just out of curiosity, about how many cans total did it take to do the whole vehicle?
This may be the best camo painting vid on the web. Much appreciated.

One of the best DIY camo paint jobs on YT.
I have used this same method on several older shotguns that needed help. I call it a grass pattern and use your same methodology, except on guns it helps to use an oil cutter for the paint to stick properly, and I also use a matte clear coat to harden up the finished paint job!
We definitely like your camo technique better then others we have seen on youtube, great job brother. 😎👍
Phenomenal !!!!! I did a camo job on an ATV a couple years ago and thought I did a good job. I was wrong, but now I know how to make it right. Thanks very much.

looks great.iam all set with my boat ready to paint.......I have Marijuana leaves tho....that's how we do in Canada ;)
That may make your boat a target for law enforcement or other smokers. Ha Ha
stripcook smoke before paint or use the leaves. Lok
Thanks for the tutorial BG
I just camo'd my 12' aluminum boat
For 22$ in camo paint.
It was super easy.
Looks awesome .
How has the paint held up in the water and with the boat flexing?
I've used the boat only 7 times so far.
The paint has held up really well.
Even after dragging the boat in and out of the water and on the ground , the bottom looks fine. Only a few minor scratches.
It actually looks better than the camo wraps which often has repeated camo patterms.

Thanks for the video !!! Painted my motorcycle the way You showed !
Some photo?:)
Thank you so much, for giving me the confidence to Paint my 1977 popup camper that was beaten up looking with a shade of shit brown colour. lol live in New Zealand so using a lot of shades a green. You show it really is easy to do . cheers .
Thanks for the awesome video! Just did this to my S10 and it looks AMAZING! I've gotten comments on how good the camo design looks!
That came out fantastic! Thanks going to give it a shot on a project I just made.
Thanks for this.. I'm definitely using this approach on the fishing boat I'm about to purchase.
That looks awesome! I think this technique will give my red Polaris UTV a new life.
This is what I started looking for a year ago, camo made easy, explains does and don'ts, clear to the point speaking. Only one issue, he forgot to tell us Yankees what to use for stencils. All my Palms and Palmeadows froze out years ago!
You can use any kind of coarse stiff grass or in a pinch you can cuts strips of poster board then bunch them up.
looks great, thanks for the advice...rustoleum is 8 bucks a can in kanada (we have always been taken advantage of on corporate prices- even if it is made here)...God bless...doug
Awesome job! I just picked up a 2006 Rhino 660 which is a faded green. I was thinking of getting a vinyl camo wrap for it until I saw this vid. Thank you!!!

Did an Jeep yj complete just like this five years ago exactly like you did this lol. Guess I should have made a video .
Good Job Bucko,, I specifically like the way you narrated and explained your method and style. I myself am an Auto-Painter Extraordinaire. I am UA-caming just checking different painters styles. I am getting ready to do a Kandy Kamo with Thermochromic paint and a Chameleon Pearl Clear-coat topcoat. .

I like it. Thanks for the info I'm painting mine this weekend.
So basically keep it simple- don't over think it. 👍👍🙏🌴🌴 thanks for making the video

Looks amazing! going to do my kids bedrom wall like this, and my motorbike helmet.
You can put a clear coat over the pattern to make it POP on a helmet.
On rifles I've used the spearmint leaves. They have a good looking pattern.👍✌️

Try painting your tarp net for 3 D??
Looks like a pro did it!👏
Wow most useful video ever!!! thanks at 3k likes!
Great video I've learned a lot.
Just be careful in the woods. If you forget where you left it you'll never find it again!!! :-D
Nice looking job,,I hope you scuff sanded that before you painted it? If not that will probably start to peel/flake a bit. Scuff for adhesion
Nice Work... Now I can tell the wife... Oops I painted the whole truck, because the Rustoliem 6 can Realtree camo kit was on sale for $11.99...

+Tjipto Basoeki Give it a try, but practice on something disposable first.
Looks BADASS MY BROTHA

Regarding your technical jargon, I can park this anywhere in FL and you can't find it.
man that looks great:: ty fr the schooling with leaves ..so easy and simple excellent job brother..

Never tried it. Let me know how it works.
That looks pretty sweet.

Yessir. Looks "GRrrrrrrrreat". Can wait to do my polaris
Soni went to the paint shop, low and behold they had tire paint. Might camo my tires too. Lol
Great job!! I just washed my Rhino today. Can you use Brown instead of Black? And can you CLEAR COAT over the top at the end, maybe a matte clear coat to keep the sheen down?
Thanks so much camo cost is crazy, you really helped.
I'm definitely using this method, thank you.
Fantastic job. I got a big old RV and I want to do the same, but I cant hold big tree branches and a rattlecan at the same time.

In my area of Pa ferns work well as a stencil.
Looks great. Now I wanna do this to my s197
Hi there..nice job! I wonder if it will be possible to obtain same effect with Raptor or other bedliner..
What you think?
Not bad!
Where do you drive that?
"Oh just from my condo to the golf course n back. The camo works great when Im trying to throw my ball back into fair play!
I always score under par!"🤣😉
Simple but effective ideas, great video
Thanks
Friggin awesome, loving your work.
