If somebody is struggling with weight loss, its probably best they eat something filling instead of drinking a meal their gonna digest quickly. Oatmeal or yogurt bowl could both be topped with the fruits and protein powder as an alternative.

@@DrainSoldieryou completely missed the point, what Nathan is saying is consuming your calories in the form of a drink is not going to keep you satiated to the same extent as eating your calories, so therefore making it more difficult to stay within a deficit, it’s not magic, lil bro :)

Definitely not on the weight-loss train myself, but as an endurance athlete looking to maximize my protein & get some decent carbs in a morning recovery meal, I’d absolutely smash one of these every morning of my life. Maybe add some spinach too, I’ve always loved spinach in smoothies.
Can you just directly add spinach leaves to the blender?

I really like the addition of you adding the calories of the ingredients as you add them to the blender. Makes it helpful for calorie counters. Especially since US brands can get calorically dense in their products. Please keep it up!

Just skip the peanut butter for my fellow mesomorphs out there 🥲 add more greek yogurt or just protein powder and extra water for an extra big shake and use fairlife milk at 13g of protein for 120 calories or fat free at 80 calories and cut with water if you dont like it too thick and i like to put some ice cubes in mine to give it that crushed ice SONIC ice cream slushy consistency.

"Only 500 calories", maybe this is good for active dudes or very active women, but considering a lot of people esp women trying to loose weight like myself have daily calorie caps of 1300 or less, I cannot be eating nearly half my daily allotment in the first hour of the day in a liquid that won't keep me full. That’s not eating either that’s drinking
You dont need to eat 1300 and starve yourself. Eat 1700 and do 20-30 mins of steady state cardio. Treadmill at 3mph max incline is 200 calories in 18 minutes. You want to eat fat protein and complex carbs and avoid sugars and empty carbs. For example, brown rice is complex carb because it has less sugars and more nutrients than white rice, which will spike your glycogen faster and make it harder to burn fat. Do that and the weight will fall off. As long as you are at a 300 calorie deficit and burn 200 more calories a day, and are not eating added sugars and empty carbs or fats, you will lose weight. I’ve lost 20 lbs in 7 weeks and lose about a lb every 3-5 days.
Cool, no one is forcing you to drink this. You can eat what you want to. This however will fit in with many peoples calorie deficits.

Bananas and blueberries should not be combined in the same meal. If you still want to, freeze the bananas first.
Try subbing the yogurt with fat-free greek yogurt (170g 90cal, 18p). Dont add peanut butter and granola. Keep the protein powder (28g 100cal, 20-22p). Keep the blueberries (140g 70cal). Top with water as needed. Total: 260cals, 38-40p. Just as filling too. Source: this is what i have to eat after the gym on a cut.

Consuming 3 scrambled eggs with veggies (and lesser calories) will keep you full for a whole lot longer than this 500 calorie smoothie.
