honestly not sure. i was using Ernie Ball coated strings (the ones in the gold colored foil pack). But just today i put a set of Martin SP Lifespans on it (white box with blue or red center), and they are the brightest strings i've ever used, and they are Phosphor Bronze. I'm currently loading up my Instructional video for "Beautiful Things". check back in about an hour and see how bright it is now.
Yay for Martin guitars B-) do you happen to have the tabs for this song? I'm still trying to get the hang of finger plucking as opposed to straight up rhythm strumming and tabs help

I would love to do some traveling, and have some friends back home who i know would love to go full time with music, so maybe one day...... :) Thanks again for the compliments.

how do you get such a bright tone from your omc16we? i recently bought an omc16we and added elixir nanoweb med strings and the guitar sounds very bassy.

Instead of playing the D chord try playing your 6th open then 5th open than 4th 2nd frett sliding to 4th frett! It sounds really good
