Dude thank you so much! We're playing an acoustic version of this song tonight at my youth group, and I'm a lead guitarist, not an acoustic guitarist, so it was hard for me to pick out these notes. But you helped me out so much! Thanks man!
Thanks so much! I'm learning guitar and the worship leader at my church has been playing this song recently and I've been looking all over for a solid tutorial! Good job and thanks!
Love the way you play this. Just heard this song, first time, today. My daughter is singing this in a few days and she isn't comfortable singing and trying to play at the same time. Never played Drop D and the whole song is just a cool tune. I'm excited! Thanks!
I ended up playing a short cut version of this just for my daughter and her friend to sing to. But I hope to take the time to learn the way you play this.
You should be able to if you do the 2 capo method I mention towards the end of the video. 1st capo on the 5th fret, second capo on the 7th leaving the low string open.
Ok. For your picking hand I'm confused on how to alternate thumb and pointer finger but I have the ring and middle finger figured out. Just need a bit of help...... Can someone explain it for me
@@SteveWoodyMusic Around about 1:35 your picking hand. So it goes thumb, pointer, middle and ring finger all at the same time. Then your pointer, middle, and ring finger next. Then switch to the next chord or play with your thumb, pointer, middle, and ring finger once again. Ive always wanted to play this song to my girlfriend she loves the song. Also thank you for replying it means alot
