  • iFootage's use of this exclusive advanced production method and the combination of fourteenth carbon fiber layers greatly enhances the stability of the track and is less susceptible to track warping due to long-term use.
iFootage Shark Slider S1 also utilizes 14 Japanese made high-quality stainless steel bearings, greatly improving the quality of the system composition. Then with multiple 1/4 and 3/8 connection points increasing its versatility, whether you wish to place a microphone, light or monitor would not be an issue for iFootage Shark Slider S1.

This idea was "borrowed" from a youtube filmaker named Nitsan Simantov. He posted a video in January of 2013 showing a momentum weight wheel attatched to a Konova slider.

For such a product, with that quality (+ those extensions), this product is a bargain!

Nice review. Just wondering what brand/model the pan/tilt head you were using on the slider? I'm looking getting this slider and your setup seems good.

When mounted on the tripod, do the rails flex when the camera moves to the farthest ends? Each time it moved to either end the camera filming would cut to a close up, so we wouldn't see.

Can you share what you used to mount the slider to the tripod? In other words, the tripod has a 3/8" screw, did you use a video head or a special adapter? I am curious because you only needed one tripod and the unit does not tip over or slant when the camera moves to the end of the slider. Thanks in advance.

Beautifully made. Shit support. Mine didn't come with the red knob for securing the fly wheel or an extra long belt for using it with extension rods. Not stable on light standard light stands as the tie downs wobble on a light stand. Cannot find where to get these missing parts. No one gets back. Shame.

How does this compare to the Cinevate Duzi?

Funny you mentioned the Cinevate Duzi. We were heading down to the store to purchase the Duzi for our trip to Taiwan, and came out with this instead. This is an amazing value, but if you need to hold more than 16 lbs, then the Duzi is actually rated for more weight. But in every other aspect, this things is such a great value. And the iFootage rep walked in while we were scoping out the Duzi, and pulled it out. SOLD!

there's a bump when you move the camera over the extension rail connection - not a good thing at all, disappointed.
