This is my new favorite slider. It's lightweight yet strong enough to carry a full size cinema camera. That is the reason why I used it on the last three films I worked on. You can see sample shots I got with this slider and my thoughts in this video.

Hello Tom, after 3 years. Are you still using this piece of gear? Is this still a useful purchase for you? Did it survive the three years worth of usage? Thanks!!
Probably my favorite slider. I bought the K2 though. When I upgrade this is it.
I've falling in love with your videos. I'm only 16 and am saving up for a lot of the equipment you talk about. I'm not wasting my time with cheap DLSR cameras ahaha
Thank you and best of luck!
Tom Antos I'm debating between the ursa mini and the alexa mini. Which out of the two have the best dynamic range and color balancing. I want something sharp looking for a short film I'm going to be working on.
Tryst Films your story is far more important than all these gear..and DSLRs actually offer amazing quality for the price they come at..
ProFly 1 while they may be good for you that micro four third sensor and the pathetic battery life is a deal breaker for me...if black magic puts in a full frame sensor..count me in
Alexa mini is far better no question..the question is are u experienced enough in all aspects of Cinematography to use Alexa?its like u dont know how to play piano and but Steinway & Sons Piano...and DSLR(the High end ones)are actually give u great result if u know how to use it to learn
Hey Tom, can you recommend a Tripod for that Setup? I have basically the same setup with the mini 4k, been doing mostly shoulder mount and some static tripod
Hi, did you found a solution? The Wildbull t5 maybe? Give me some feedback please :)
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you
Every clip I've seen of it has been bumpy, i think it's more about the video head movements than the slider though
Thanks Tom, as always, great job. Tom the payload stated on the site is 15 pounds. Your gear seems to me to be over 18 pounds. Please advise. Best
How you mount sachtler head on the slider at 1:20 ?
I buy this slider 5min ago because of this video.
Do you think the full motorized version is worth the price?
Caleb Chamberlain looks like it is... but can't say for sure until I test it out
hmm sorry to say but, shots were not smooth...wondering why?
I also own the Footage Shark Slider and love using it...
BTW: I really wanted to buy the motorized slider system.... but the demo at the store just couldn't get it to work right despite multiple attempts... TRY IT FIRST EXTENSIVELY, Tom, before buying it. :)
Can the fly wheel and the straps in the slider can be replaced?
yes
Awesome
Thanks!
u made film in india?😍
Which Fluid Head is this, and is there anything else you need besides the slider?
You'll need a tripod legs and fluid head. I'm using the Manfrotto 502 flat bottom head with a 75mm bowl adapter under the slider so I can put it on tripod legs with a bowl mount.
Holy shit, how do you make your videos so quickly? I'm impressed
Thanks! I work on these 11 hours a day so I can do a few per day when I can. Otherwise I am on location shooting films.
What is the weight of the camera setup and the head?
Kitch studio 17lbs
u in india ?
This or rhino slider?
What type of head are you using with that slider?
Manfrotto 502 head
i'm glad that i bought the 502 head. if i get an ursa in the future, i'm already set up with most extra accessories
