It was really nice to see Eskild Fors in this video.
Thanks for the ESKILD clip in the beginning.
Back to your channel after a long time and this is a nice way to start. Eskild Fors lives in our hearts.
2:10 somebody call the doctor we need to assemble some fingers :D
This was actually one of the best reviews I’ve seen on this product cause of the unique perspective
Love the uniqueness of promoting this product. What a great video. Love your work. ❤️
2:49 "I'll make bread, a slider video and bread'. Love this:-) Very clever - sounded so random and uninspiring, and then you totally smashed it!! This epitomises what creativity is about. Great review, and nicely illustrates the product's potential. I could see myself actually using this too due to its portability. I have always opted to pack my gimbal instead of my manual slider as it can fit in my rucksack. I shoot alone and pretty much everything I get to use are things I can fit in my rucksack and require minimal fuss. This looks awesome and ticks all the boxes for me.
I ordered one a couple of months ago, can't wait for mine to arrive. I mostly want to use mine for my second camera during talking head shots and for my main camera for my drumcover videos on UA-cam. I record myself, so this should do a fantastic job. I loved the 🥐 timelapse, it looked like a caterpillar coming to life.
Yes! Its really good for filming yourself. Have fun, its a great little slider. I thank my gf for the croissants. She prepped everything in that dept ;) Cheers!
Thanks for the use ideas :)
Would love to see more tutorials! Keep up the great work-
This was great! Very different. I loved all the example footage. Cheers.
Now this makes sense wow
Great video very informative and funny
Beautiful shots there
I have a dolly and it has been collecting dust since last year..i think its right time to get a slider this small lol
I just ordered one using your link/code (and a cobra2 monopod), looks very useful, thanks. I am new to your channel and I like your content (and short films) a lot.
You have got yourself an excellent product, Steve. Have fun with it :)
The proof is the amazing footage ! Best review so far on this product. I've question, can i do a simple one axis 360° rotation as well ?
Perfect! Nice video, Anders and Daniel :)
Thanks Jarand :)
I appreciated all the nice little touches that went in to this video. :).
I ordered one of these (the slider, not the nice touches) a while back... still waiting though.
Its a great little slider, well worth the wait :)
I just bought this the same day your video came out, very exciting seeing what you can do with it. Your test footage was amazing! Subscribed :)
Great Video, Loved it
2021 is looking good!
Hi, very cool video! Would you reveal with which camera and which lenses (weight?) you have made the sample videos?
It's now November and the EU price is €819,91 WITH VAT. It's like Real Estate.....always going up!
does it allow you to add c, d, e, etc. positions? or are you just limited to "a to b"?
I think only A and B (thats what I tested it for anyways) - that said, maybe a future firmware upgrade will make it possible!
@@DanielBryn I hope so too! :D
Thank you for such an inspiring video with great content, it feels fresh and it really shows up the possibilities of the slider. I am considering getting one, I would like to ask you whether you can give more details on how you used it for stop motion, I have been searching online and I could not find much about it.
How do you set it up? How does it work? Can you use it with software like Dragonframe?
Thanks again and keep up with the great content.
Great Slider , funny Video!
Awesome work! What's that backpack you got?
Need that VJUS Mustard Yellow pullover
BlackBox Guild! (Y)
Now I got hungry for some bread... 😅
Haha - it was as good as the lapses
Guy, you truly deserve a Golden Globe for Story Telling! There is such great arc of narration in your review. Love it.
Hello Nice video. Gerald Undone mentions that in the loop mode when start and finish it swings a little, it's already fixed? Thank you!!
What settings did you use for the croissant in the oven?
Awesome review Daniel. Would love to see more of you on this channel. Fuck! But now I want that slider....... Just gotta find an excuse :)
Hehe ^^
;) Yep - its a pretty little thing. Good tool!
Great video! 😊 Great product? Menn....No synchro cable for my Iphone, Olympus or Samsung??? I want to use it for timelaps. Hvor i Oslo har dere filmet?
Hi, i got mine today. Was really happy, for about 30 minutes. I have an Olympus M1-Mark III and altough they said in the shop that would work, with cable T2, it doesnt. Whatever i tried, timelaps, video, soon when i connect the camera to the slider my camera stops working. It takes no picture's and no video. Do you have any idear what could be wrong?
thanks for review ,lovely timelapses !. How about weight limitations ? are they true in real life scenarios ? for example 45 angle ,or vertical stand , how about pan motor is doing at these situations ?
Hey here is a reminder, you forgot to put the info card to the fantasy film
Hmm, that's strange. It should have been there. Is it there now? :)
@@Andyax yeah awesome! The film looks amazing by the way!
Amazing!!
Surprised you didn't mention the weight limit, that's the biggest negative for me. I have a 2kg rig that is still lacking a lot of stuff I might add in the future (no focus control for one), but this slider only says it works at 2.5kg max on a tripod (and from other reviews, I wouldn't trust it at a full 2.5kg either). Really makes me nervous about it... I'll still probably get it, but just to tide me over until I can afford a better system (which, granted, will probably cost 3x as much).
Actually getting a new bag. Which size backpack do you recommend that this would go well with ?
Thanks for creating this video. How loud is the motor in db? I am looking for a good motorised slider. I am looking for all 3 features in one slider. It should be as quiet as possible, can carry at least 5kg weight and I can use vertically. Any suggestions please?
Price shows 689 Euro and 799 USD, kind of over priced. Does this slider allow linking with a gymbal like YC Onion?
Are you controlling the pan tilt and roll manually or is it done with a motorized head?
Hey Andrew - it is motorized, so it is all integratred in the slider. One slide motor, and one pan/tilt motor. You can set A and B points manually via the app. We only tested it sliding it manually to see if it was something you could use it for. But works best with the motor. Cheers!
@@DanielBryn I appreciate the reply thank you!
@@seniorricardo youre very welcome!
@@DanielBryn It works as a tilt motor if you mount the slider vertically. When it's horizontal it's only sliding and pan. You can read more about it here: www.ifootagegear.com/products/shark-slider-nano?variant=32999046217771
@@Andyax So the roll at 4:54 was done in post? it's a great effect Looks like it was in camera
Just got my slider but can't figure this out. Is it possible to shoot an astrophotography timelapse? 20 second exposure, 1 second interval and so forth. Everything I've tried the slider moves during the shot?
Edelkrone made it years ago.
true, but have you looked at the price tag, and all the extra stuff you need for it to function the same way?
Edelkrone absolutely suck.
What is the maximum weight load on this slider?
how come you guys said it was $499 but now it sells for over $700
$499 then but now it's actually £678 pounds so in dollars $891. So looks like the price went way up since the making of this video.
3:40 Where is this?
Its in the barcode project in downtown oslo. This time of year you get some really cool shades running across the buildings in timelapses like that
@@DanielBryn Thanks
So, how long can you go in total distance with it?
80cm :) You can read more about it here: www.ifootagegear.com/products/shark-slider-nano?variant=32999046217771
First one here
I get jitter with this slider, I think I will return it.
Did you return it?
@@dbs_jd I did, I don't recommend it.
@@thewaliiiii thanks! What slider did you end up buying instead of this one?
@@dbs_jd No slider anymore. I found that all of them require balancing and a lot of setup. So I ended buying a video head from Manfrotto and I try to stick to it.
Lovely 😍💋 💝💖❤️
This is the stock footage video you are referring to?
ua-cam.com/video/PgBUpbPGldQ/v-deo.html
worthless for anything larger than an iphone. after extensive testing i returned it. too much jitter with normal camera. junk
500euros oooo no no no no no no no no no no no no, i have a better one for only 280
which one?
