Hey Everyone! Thank for for all the love and kind words on Luna! Her vet came to see her today and we don’t have a diagnosis. I started filming on Friday so it’s been almost a week and her Xray didn’t show any fracture so not thinking an injury now. She’s presenting with lameness is all of her extremities but it shows up in a different one each day. It’s really odd. Thinking it might be some immune reaction or viral illness of some sort but gave her some medicine to help guide and rule some things out. Her blood work is normal and no signs of an insect bite on exam plus she’s on preventive so that would be unusual. Right now, just managing her pain, making sure she is eating and then see how it goes over the next week after these medications she received today. I appreciate you all and thank you for being here and watching my videos! It helps me out so much. I’ll keep you updated! 🤗 If you’re interested in the new fertilizer I’m using you can find it here: www.amazon.com/shop/plantsbymelissa/list/28JOY1BVWMKEK?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d The 8 inch green plastic nursery pots are here: www.amazon.com/shop/plantsbymelissa/list/2Q7LRSOZIGHH7?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d
When I get overwhelmed or stressed I make a list of what is stressing me out. I pick 3-4 things on the list that I can realistically accomplish. You don’t need to do everything at once. Be patient and take your time. Honestly Luna is all that really matters. Sending you good vibes 😊
I cannot imagine how much time it took to film and edit this video on top of all the plant work and Luna, I appreciate these long ones so much and how real you are in them. I get so overwhelmed with my collection and it's a very lonely feeling it's just so nice to have somewhere to go that I can relate to. I hope Luna gets back to being herself soon and I'm excited to see your plants thrive on this dynamite fertilizer
Thank you! I was editing right by her side so I could just sit with her 🥹 When I felt like I could do some chores I kept constantly checking on her, It was such a long week! I can definitely understand that! I feel better about creating more space but I will be downsizing some because it can be very stressful having so many to care for then I feel like I neglect some :(
Our black lab woke up one morning in 2021 and could not walk. We thought she was having a seizure but she just kept getting worse. We took her in to get checked out. X-rays, blood work, other test all came back normal. As far as we know, she was having muscle spasms in her shoulder and it effected her entire movement because of the pain. Three days of pain meds and another 10 on anti-inflammatory and she was good as new. We still don’t know what caused it but seeing her in so much pain was heartbreaking. Sending prayers for sweet Luna and you!
This happened to my lab too only after three weeks we had to put him to sleep:-( they figured it was something neurological. Sending my love to any one w pet hardships tonight! Xoxo
@@jacquelinedaniels87 I am so sorry! My lab is almost 12 and every time she gets sick, my heart breaks cause I know, with age, things will get worse for her. She’s been such a great emotional support dog for me and my hubby through all our health crisis.
Thank you! So sorry to hear that happened! It can be so scary! I'm really hoping she gets better soon. She got a steroid and an antibiotic a couple days ago. She had 3 doses of Nsaids and they helped her but anymore it's not safe in cats. She still has lameness and not herself but she's moving around more. I'll see how she does over the next few days 🤗
Luna is recuperating and so am I. Three weeks ago I tripped while doing chores outside and unfortunately I tore the quadriceps tendon in my left knee. Had surgery 10 days ago and now am faced with a pretty long recovery. I can weight bear with crutches fortunately. Family and friends are helping me with my plants otherwise I’d be out of luck. It could have been much worse it was a bad fall. Your videos are very helpful. Best to Luna.
You got soooo much done and it looks amazing ❣️ your monsteras are incredible! And marantas, and alocasia’s, and anthuriums etc 💚🪴truly all your love and care shows through ❤️🙏🏼 glad Luna is resting comfortably while she heals ❤️🙏🏼

I hope your kitty feels better soon! If they haven’t checked yet maybe ask if it’s worth testing for Lyme disease? Her symptoms sound similar to what our dog had when she tested positive for Lyme. It was treatable with meds. It’s not common in cats but might be worth asking.
Oh I hope Luna gets well soon. When our pets are sick they’re just like our children getting sick, we wish it was us instead of them. They can’t communicate what’s wrong, so I’m hoping things get better for her🙏🏼. Your plant room looks so nice but you can see it on your face that your less stressed than when you started your video. Take care 😊
Idea, if you make more room in your plant room perhaps you can add a small narrow table in the middle (like and island) where you can do plant care. That's what I have in my plant room. You can use pretty baskets/containers to store your plant stuff under that table. I'm 45 and have RA so there's no way I can sit lol. Just an idea.
I have a foldable table in here to repot on but it gets very crowded with it. I may use it again this summer now that I have freed up some space in here 🤗
Sorry to hear about Luna, hope she’s doing better. Had both my dogs to vet Fri also. Hate it when our babies don’t feel good. Your baby painted ladies are so cute. 💚
I can’t WAIT to settle down and watch this. Normally I use videos like this as motivation to care for my own plants and do my jobs as I’m watching but I’m finally caught up on watering after being behind for 2 weeks 😢 and you’re such a calming person I love nothing better than doing nothing and just watching 😂 now I also love aquatic plants and fish - if you could just get into this hobby for me too please so I can watch your videos on aquariums that would be great 😂💜
aww thank you!! I'm glad I can be that way for you 🤗 We used to have a small fish tank back in the day but that was a long time ago. I feel like I wouldn't know anything about that now lol but maybe one day again! Glad your watering is caught up! Such a great feeling!

No put the ant traps where they come in your room. You want them to eat the bait and leave a trail back to the nest. You don’t want to attract them to your hanging baskets.
Thanks for the video and so sorry to hear about Luna! If you don’t mind me asking, what do you think of the new fertilizer now that you’ve been using it for a while?
Really enjoyed your plant chores video! I was getting overwhelmed for you. I always cringe when you repot on your carpet. I'm such a messy repotter. I get soil everywhere! I would have your carpet ruined! Lol. Hope sweet Luna is better soon. Always hard when our fur babies are unwell.
I have a alocasia care video saved under my alocasia playlist but I honestly feel I treat them all the same. Sometimes I feel it's hard to give care advice because of our environments being different. I'm really lucky to have this space where it's really warm and humid most days! They really do love it!
