Oh man you’re so kind! I’m glad you did it. I have been a devoted looper user for many years now. What kind of music do you do? Band or solo?
@@EmilyMcVicker I do solo singer-songwriter stuff, kinda bluesy/lo-fi. Got a bunch of stuff on my channel, a Bandcamp page, and a couple albums streaming (Four Letter World and Dysfunction Junction). I've played around with loops in the past and I'm kinda starting to dip my toe back in. It's so fun to play around and experiment with that kind of stuff. :D
You're adorable and so talented! I have a 150 year old RC-20 that finally died, I've been looking to replace it. I think the RC-600 is the only pedal versatile enough to do what I'm hoping to do. Thanks for all the great demos, you really show what it's capable of. Oh and your voice is amazing! :)

This is really cool! Man, that Boss looper looks like you have to be an Airline Pilot to know how to operate it! I've not really used loopers before and I really would like to try one. I'm not too intrigued by the single-button ones. This one looks unreal but holy crap, I don't have a college degree. 🙂 🤘

Couple of questions...
1. How are you getting a good mix when you do live performances? Are you running everything into a mixer and then into the looper or just everything into the looper then out to a mixer? I just want to know how to dial in the highs, lows, etc.
2. I mostly play guitar, but I was gifted a boss rc505. Why did you switch to the rc600? Is the pedal better than the tabletop for hands free experience or do you just like other features of the 600?
Hey there! Thanks for the questions. I do have a video of my entire studio set up available on my page.
I don’t use a mixer when I am making videos but I am sending instruments into an interface and mixing this sound on DAW on computer.
I use both the 600 in the 505. The 600 is way more conducive to playing instruments imp because it is foot operated. It’s really difficult to control the 505 with a guitar in your hands. But I love it if I am just singing and beatboxing for the night. If I’m carrying the whole gig myself, i need to operate the loops w my feet.
Both petals are exactly the same. They just come in different shapes. So the key difference is if you want it on a table or on the ground.

@@EmilyMcVicker I was there in 2004 back in the end of the grunge days. I still remember driving over the Moutian range coming over to see WOW Seattle light of the city at 2am as I drove. Seattle people were so nice! Went to the Locks, an Indian salmon place. I even went on the underground tour. Most people don't know lower Seattle street level is actually the 2 and 3 level of most buildings :D I left a part of my heart there :( but I will be back!

How has the RC 600 been for gigging? I've heard some horror stories about it crashing often.
Ah i bet. I had a little trouble with the firmware updates. And for my uses, the original firmware has worked just fine so I have gone back to that and have had almost no problems.
