It's a really interesting vid. We always learn more when things don't go to plan! I also suffer in the heat🥵. Please do post if you find anything that helps.
Already been said, but sauna IMEDIATELY post session. You have to finish your run or bike and hop in right away. Also working out in more clothing, but for me that is very difficult cause it’s so so sweaty, chaffy and gross.
Yeh I’ve done this with precision, so I know roughly, but it’s hard to know exactly what my sweat rate is at different intensities / humidities / temperatures. So better to just consume more than I think I need
It was great to see world class athletes racing in CZE👌💪🔥
Great recap! Love following your journey!
Thanks so much!
Sauna sessions for sure, more benefits than just heat prep - good luck..
Interesting video mate, all the best for the next one.

Thanks Josh - have you tried one of those cooling headbands on the run?
Omius? Yes I do wear one but not sure how useful it is 🤷♂️
I couldn't find any report on the quality of the water. Is it possible to provide a short assessment?
Thought it was decent! River was flowing and I didn’t get sick?
@@Josh_lewis Thank you!

Hi, what about to swim without wetsuit?
Yeh this is also an option, but pretty ballsy and you look like a prick if you don’t do well 😂
haha, for age group athlete fotunately doesnt matter and you dont need to dry the wetsuit....
Why don't do sweat testing? Then you know exactly what your sweat rate and sodium loss is.
