Awesome video Byron!! I'm having some issues with LHR axle seal leaking repetitively after replacing each time, so this video might help me look deeper. Also, I had NO idea the driveshaft/diff angle at the pinion changes so much under load!! Cheers!!
Cheers mate how you going 👍 Id try using a general nissan part if you can Check the axle seal surface and make sure it hasnt got wear Hope you get it sorted 👍
@@downtheshedwithbyron Thanks for the reply legend! I've been using genuine seals. It all started after a workshop replace brake discs all-round a year ago. So, I don't know what they've done to initiate it. Common factor apparently is a bent housing or axle. But I haven't done anything even remotely that could've contributed to that happening.
Awesome video. You made it look easy! What should the torque on bolts on the diff housing be? What about the other end of the drive shaft? Or where did you find these numbers?
Hey mate Its abit of a job Torques for the bolts maybe check the work shop manual I just tighten them up haven't come undone Mate has just gotten back from the canning stock root track so should be fine haha
