- La video UA-cam "Killer Guitar Player" expurgée du baratin du début et raccourcie pour laisser essentiellement cet incroyable chorus, d'une perfection et d'un bon goût absolus.
This is why the Eagles wanted him, that and his voice.
Dire Straits also!
I just came here to apologize for not knowing how good a guitarist Vince Gill was. WOWWWWWWW. Holy smokes.... And clean. Woo, daddy.
The crazy part is how effortless he makes it, and he doesn't have to do anything crazy, nothing wrong with that either, but truly he is one of the best pure guitar players of all time.
His tone is just to die for...never ever heard a better Tele-tone, and his playing is at the highest level
I'm an over the hill metalhead now, but my mother showed me this guy, and Chet Atkins when I was in college, and I have had enjoyed them ever since. Awesome.
What's most impressive is that he's playing clean. Distortion hides a lot of mistakes, where this requires more precision.
THIS
I agree. But also, when someone plays very cleanly with distortion it can add a whole separate level of awe to the licks played. I’ve heard Vince live on a few tunes really lay some crunch into his tone, and when he does it really brings the song to life. He’s a fantastic player who can hang with the best of them.
One of the best to ever do it.
What's to say?! He's on fire!
i love guitar. i listen to metal, jazz, gospel, r&b, flamenco, classical, funk, and of course blues, but country was the last guitar-frontier that i haven't really listened to. other than some of danny gatton's country licks, that's it. and i knew that these guys could play, but man, i am floored -- these country boys can play!
I just wish they'd keep their mouths closed and let their guitar do the talkin'
did you have listened johnny hiland?
That drummer deserves a medal!
Yes sir! Chugging along with expert precision. Setting the stage for Vince’s amazing guitar work.
What a SOULFUL singer and GUITARIST...
Been loving Vince since his first song dropped and I could tell at only 12 he loved the blues too. Oh and I'm 43 now.
For those who haven't seen the full clip, Chet Atkins called into the show before fhis and askes Vince to rip off a solo for him. That's who he's referring to when he says "Chester". This is Vince playing for his idol and we all get a fromt row seat.
Michel MORIN... Impressive edit you made on the video, got us right to the guitar solo. Vince Gill is a country music Rockstar!
First saw Gill play in Clapton's Crossroads concert on DVD from some 10-15 years ago and thought he was a great vocalist and great country guitarist, with an soulful, effortless style and he's killing it here!
Aint taking anything away from Vince, but that drummer has the pocket lock.
Such an underrated guitarist!
Very
How underrated? Who underrates him?
That's what I say.
@Metal Inc I like Metal but I love good, country picking on Teles.
@@redpillpharmacy6877 I think they meant from a general public standpoint. Vince is rarely mentioned in the top tier of guitarists among casual fans.
Nobody can do it any better than that. My goodness !!!!!!
I never fail to be impressed by Vince !
Wow! I didn’t know that he plays at that level. Very talented.
LOL, Vince Gill is one of the best (country) guitar players of this time.
@@Jeremiah26 he is amongst the greats of all time no matter the genere. Yeah he is closer to the top in country but he can play anything.
Absolutely spell binding
Absolutely brilliant -Alan UK
Always liked Vince Gill. That Metal Show that used to be on VH1 had a guest heavy metal artist that said his perfect pick for guitarist in an album would be Vince. He said there isn’t a stringed instrument that he couldn’t play with passion and drive.
Fantasztikus gitáros vagy,Vince !!!
the licks aren't particularly fast, but the flow, feel and smoothness of the playing is unmatched.
This is pure magic
Vince gill and Carlos Santana are my guitar heros
Damn Vince can play that Tele.
Only ever heard one person playing this as good as vince and that was brent mason👌🏻
Listen Brad Paisley or Albert Lee.
Brilliant!! Joyful!!
I love the way Vince gives back to the lord for his talents, a true artist in my book

Simply Amazing! Makes it look so easy and effortless. Very talented. Always wanted to play like that but I just couldn't get my fingers and brain together lol
Yes, yes, yes, Vince can turn on the guitar strings. Brilliant solo
Great solo!
Nobody should be able to play like that. Nobody should be able to sing like that. For one person to do both...it's unconscionable.
Thank you
Glen Campbell to Vince Gill to John Mayer, good lookin' guys who could sing and absolutely shred with the best of them!!!
Glen Campbell was part of "the Wrecking Crew." A sublime talent on the guitar - and couldn't read a lick of music. Unreal.
Wow!

Even the frogs love Vince Gill!

Who is the girl playing rhythm guitar?
Show me a better guitar solo In a Country Song
Curt Priestley Albert lee on luxury liner stands pretty well next to this one plus he’s a pioneer of country guitar
Not a better solo, but one of the same caliber, Alan Jackson's guitar player in Burnin the roadhouse down
Curt Priestley I know it's not country but if you appreciate a good guitar solo check out Guthrie Trapps solo on this 😮😮

What empty-souled 13 people down voted this?
Dislike. Cause trig at 0.48 Love and listen music before refill
Yes... the uploader edited out the song, a pretty bad choice. It also isn't done right and is out of sync.
Nobody like him.
