Why not just lift it as a system on the backbone rack with the hard top attached so it stays as one big piece? Use the same straps under the backbone instead of taking tent off
That would be so awesome…. However my winch installed in the ceiling can only lift about 200lbs. It was perfect when I first built it because I was only lifting the hardtop and maybe a light bar. Now I have a Rhino Rack and RTT, the total weight is around 375 lbs. May be time to look at upgrading my hoist winch
that information will be posted on the Georgia Jeep Invasion website. We just had 2024 about 1 month ago. The next one will be in 2025. georgiajeepallianceclub.com/jeep-invasion/
Awesome video as always RoadRash.
Thank you Chris

@@RoadRashOffRoad figured it was a capacity issue. Time for cheap ATV winch. 60 bucks at northern tool for 2500 lb capacity
@@PurpleJeepleEater that is totally what I need. Just need an adapter so I can plug it in my garage and I’m golden
How or where do I find information for the invasion type events?

@RoadRashOffRoad Thank you sir. Any events in SC that you're aware of. I'm in Eastern SC & looking to get involved in these events.
Dude you forgot to add the link again………. Lmao. Can’t click to watch your DIY
that is weird... the link is totally there. I see it. I just went in the video, removed it and put the link back in. check it again
It’s there now. I need this hoist system so badly Thx
@@Thatcntrygirl1 it is an awesome awesome solution and relatively inexpensive. You just need a little bit of attic space that is unused.
