    On my Naturnest Orion, there's two rings (beside the ladder hooks on each side) that you can hook the shoe bags to.

    For the roof net could you add to crisscrossed steel cables that would divide it into quarters and make it ride higher? I want to get one of these as soon as I can afford it. That is my idea to fix it when I get it. I want a rooftop so I can take it camping and have little delay in pack up when towing my boat. Bounce around quickly is the idea.

      Interesting idea about the cables... Maybe... Yes, for sure it's a fast up and down. Feels way faster than a ground tent. I usually bring a ton of gear up into the tent with me, so that slows down the escape, but yeah, it's better IMO. Thank you. #StayAwesome

    I like your nice honest review. I like my Ursa Minor Camper top much better than a roof top tent. You can enter from the inside and there is no ladder involved. You can also stand up in the vehicle for changing. I have a 60% rear seat delete with a goose gear platform, which makes it easy to get in and out of the vehicle since the driver side rear seat is still installed. You can also drop the top from the inside although before you drive away you have to reattach the front latches from the outside.

      It's a golden era for camping, tons of options. Thanks for watching and if you have any questions, hit me back! 😎

      Funny I just used this RTT for the first time this weekend. Also damage the paint with rod removals x2 😂. Yours seems to have a damage roof. It is not supposed to accumulate
      Water like that and not as low. It seems the top of yours someone stepped on it and the plastic gave up. I had a hard time closing it alone. I needed help. 😮

      @@JackRoboticist I'm compiling a video on the "Top X things I hate about this RTT" - it's got some weird aspects, and for sure, the design varies greatly from order to order. I've seen a few modifications across different owners now. I do kinda love it tho. 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀🤷‍♀ #StayAwesome

      Yeah. I noticed from the videos. Like the loop where the rods for the awning goes. Yours and mine are under. Others are on the side. It sees easier to get the tight removed. I damage the paint in two places already. Not very easy way to hold the spring like thing while over the tire with one hand ;-)

    The port is also supposed to be good for cold weather camping, diesel heater.

      @@dab0yhdizzle I think most people put their heaters on a little table below the tent and run a hose from there to the vent port.

      @@dab0yhdizzle The connector under the tent is an Anderson SB50 connector. You'll need a cable that goes from whatever connector your panels have to an SB50.

      @klockemy u think I can use that with my power station? Instead of brining my whole unit into tent or u have any link for connecter ? Please thank you

    Do you have to use the 4 black straps along with the 4 silver clasps or are that clasps good enough to keep closed?

    • @shiftintosunshine
      @shiftintosunshine  15 днів тому

      The silver clasps are enough, but they make me nervous. I would have actually preferred no clasps and higher quality straps. Nonetheless, the straps are a failsafe.

    The top clamshell seems to need to be popped out, ie depressed during shipping. You might gain some head room. It will also not retain water on top as much.

    • @shiftintosunshine
      @shiftintosunshine  4 місяці тому

      It's the way it's molded, assuming for aerodynamics, but yeah, it has a depression in the middle on purpose. If you look at the drone shot in the video, it shows it.
