@@mindme7674 2-3 sprays will do for office, I am in love with it and oftentimes I only spray 2 on skin and it performs over 4 hours, might be overly sweet when it's too hot though

I own both, original Cool Water just doesn't stick on my skin at all, intense lasts me all day, and more than 3 spritzes is overkill and you can smell me 1 mile against the wind

Wow, they're sooo different to me, barely even can compare eros and cool water intense. Davidoff is so sweet and soapy/powdery, so it comes just the other way, as for me. Performance, intensity, notes... idk.

I find it's pretty similar to Paco Rabanne Invictus intense. Similar sweetness. Longevity is probably the best out of any fragrance I have used so far. Like crazy strong.

If you like the original “cool water “you will like the “intense “ , I was using cool water long before it became popular , the Intense is different but really nice .

You say its not for the office but funny thing I bought it exactly for that 😄 For some reason I smelt this and thought it was a blue fragrance that can be worn on nights out & at work. Its inoffensive to me & certainly didn't feel like a beast mode probably only in the 1st hour it projects then longevity is about 6 hours I'm not sure how it would do in summer as its winter now. Cheap blind buy & better than most blu frags.

I agree it is super strong and has that super sharp note in that is also inside invictus/sauvage/wanted. I think it is either called ambrox ambroxan or whatever. I'm not a fragrance genie like everyone on fragrantica. I just let people know my experience and cool water intense is super strong. Probably about as strong as Armani code Absolu.

I watch a lot of cologne reviews and to be honest he's the best he's honest then 90 percent of the others....
I just received this today, boy am I impressed! I grew up with Cool Water being one of my first designer colognes thanks to Snoop Dogg Lodi Dodi (If you grew up in the 90s you know) As mentioned this smells nothing at all similar to original Cool Water, this is more of a tropical fresh scent imo. I have to say my first impressions I am loving it! Definitely worth the $20-$30 price range! The performance is great and I have had it on my skin and clothes for about 6 hours and it still performs great!
Everyone wants a beastmode because that we can regulate. We can spray 2 times one even once. On the other hand if you get a watered down version, it makes no difference how much you spray. After 1 hour it´s gone

Comletely agree with you here. I was surprised that this was considered summery. Id prefer something more fruity, airy and tropical. Especialy in the summer.

Have used Cool Water in the past, still have the bottle but not so fond of it any more. Curious to check this one out.
This Summer I tried the Hollister Festival Vibes and liked it a lot. Reminded me of an old Gap cologne but not sure which (maybe Gap Blue?). I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on any of these.

The prom King is back?? Not for nothing, Cool Water was easily my favorite scent through high school. First cologne I ever bought.
My older cousin wore the original Cool Water religiously back in high school in the late 90s. Haven’t smelled that fragrance in years!
Watching Sep 2020. Kinda smells like V&R spicebomb... loved it! Performance and especially the price is amazing.
How in the world does this smell like spice bomb? This is a sweet and coconut smelling scent, complete opposite to spice bomb

Especially since Ash is notorious for always complaining about fragrances being too weak. It's like he isn't willing to change up his spray routine or something. These reviewers can make you scratch your head sometimes.
I love beast mode fragrances, BUT Raghba wood intense is sooooooo strong that i can not wear it.. so yeah this could be the case here too

Just got it. Late to the party. I love it. Sorta a light version of mr burberry indigo to me.
The first time I smelled it I had immediately old school feelings. I was back in the 90's an smelled definitely Laura Biagiotti Roma Uomo wich i loved back in the days. For me Davidoff Cool Water Intense is the intense version of Roma Uomo!
I think the best roll for this kind of francrance is Summer-Night, when the sun is gone and you go out for a date or summer party.
It sounds a lttle strange to me that you seem to dislike the fact that it is a monster performance fragrance!!
Am I the only one who thinks it doesn't perform well? Recently I bought one, but it doesn't perform well. It doesn't have strong projections as people describe. Maybe it is just my nose or they decreased the quality.
Almost identical to Kenneth Cole Mankind Hero...which smells amazing...but Intense lasts all day.

This sounds like a 1 spray to the back of the neck and a 1 spray to the chest under garments kind of scent. Maybe better suited for the club or parties. I need to get my nose on this.
Hooks Da G it’s a spicy type scent. I like that. If you like fragrances like “Spicebomb”, you’ll appreciate this one.
Can't seem to find anything new i like. I'm very fussy and particular when it comes to fragrences. I like different. I like wearing a fragrence that has a scent of its own. When I find something new, it always smells similar to other fragrences i have but in a different bottle. Do you ever run into this problem? Also what do you think about Thierry Mugler fragrences?
Check out happyland fragrances. They are strong bold and unique they sell a sample pack of all their frags so u can try each, which is what I did and so far I have bought 5 large bottles from the line and plan to pick up more there was only 3 or 4 from the whole line that aren't my style . My favorites are Rhyolite,signature,homme for the holidays, cuir cafe, Amber land, I know I'm forgetting one or two. I wasn't a huge fan of barbershop,blue fire,or green Irish and tobacco.

Check your thyroid. I started getting zits again when I turned 28 started loosing hair, it was my thyroid.
@Matthew Davies Yep, the thyroid can go crazy at any age. I think a lot of people just don't pay attention until it gets dramatic, but hair loss, acne breakouts, unusually dry skin, etc. can point to serious issues.
I don’t see how the performance would be a bad thing if you treat it like a club fragrance. Club scents are not office scents.

Off topic, Ash...however I'm wondering if you have managed to get your hands on any Happyland fragrances? I have seen them pop up in the community recently, and would love to get your take on them. Their Happyland Signature looks like it'd be a fantastic cold weather scent - tobacco, honey, amber, vanilla. They are fairly inexpensive, and supposed to have great performance.
Looking for something appealing, unique and inviting for a year round signature. Could this be it? If anyone reads this, my fav frag is smokey/creamy like by the fireplace. Any suggestions for a more 4 season scent in a similar vain? Thanks
