Aqua Di Gio was my first cologne, I remember my dad got it for me when I was 12. It’s always one that I’ve kept in rotation all these years, might not be a performance beast as the flankers but definitely a classic.
u should get the profumo. It has the dna with MUCH better performance

I’d venture to say about 50-60% of men wore Aqua Di Gio before. It’s an absolute classic, it’s the Target of colognes, always there for you for whatever you need 😂
it was my first one too, and not because its popular, I didnt even know that, but because that was what I and some girls I brought to the store liked the most

Idk why but you're the only fragnance reviewer who keeps his content interesting and honest. Jeremy is only doing it for the money imo.
There are a number of reviewers keeping it real out there. Just have to want to find them.

Jeremy throws himself out there in a way other reviewers don't, and it's not always Sauvage and Eros with him, contrary to what people seem to think. Ash wins with personality hands down, though/

Ysl Y edp is probably the best blue fragrance you can buy. It’s versatile to wear in summer and winter months and any occasion, gets compliments and lasts for ages. Well worthy of the S category.
Just purchased a 3.4 bottle.
For me Y edp smell is more like Yellow fragrance, not blue fragrance, smell too fruity, smooth and harsh in the same time, i'll drop y edp in B tier. btw perform is great

Love to see someone giving Y EDP the love it deserves. It's a freaking masterpiece. Also, Sauvage EDT could be there as well, it's a timeless classic. ☺️
Sauvage Elixir is #1 and Sauvage EdP is #2. If you haven't tried them yet I suggest you do. You will never buy Sauvage EdT version again trust me.

@@kumarsen88 Dior created a masterpiece with Sauvage EdP and the Elixir is GODMODE to the EdP. Top 2 mens fragrances in my book followed closely by D&G The One EdP. I have YSL Y EdP as well and I love that 1 for spring & summer along with og ADG & Le Beau

Monte Blanc Explorer has quickly become my favorite. I’ve been wearing that and ADG Profondo the most this year. Just replaced my Bottle of Explorer, it arrived today. It’s gone up a little bit in price at discounters. I believe I paid 43 for it back in February, and picked it up for 54 last weekend. It was over 60, not too long ago, but I waited and it went on sale.
i love the smell, fav smell but doesn’t perform well

Around the 2000-2015 was the golden era for fragrances. It’s hard to find anything that beats this list these days. I would wear most of the fragrances today over the majority of stuff being dropped these days!
for me personally versace eros is my most complimented. every time i wear it i get a lot of compliments over so much others that i have.
I'm with ya Shawn Tillman, I miss the blue chair to. Killer list... another reason why this is the only fragrance channel I'm currently following. Keep it up!
YSL Y EDP was my first proper fragrance and I remember everyone asking me what I’m wearing when at uni, it smells incredible and lasts so long, however I also have Bleu De Chanel Parfum and I don’t think I’ve smelt a fragrance more exquisite. It’s my most used for sure but I’ll always love Y
The only one I disagree with is Valentino tbh. I love that scent, it just works so well with my skin chemistry, and honestly a unique scent for the summer and warmer climates. Personally loved it and can’t wait to get a bottle.

Glad to see Monte Blanc Exporer on there. I think it smells amazing and even though I have Aventus as well - I actually find myself turning to the Monte Blanc Explorer bottle. Very pleasant top and just a subtle smooth and pleasant smell all around. It's sort of an acquired taste as you'll see reviewers slowly begin to vibe with it the more they spray it.
Had it this past summer and it smelled overly synthetic. Actually started to make my eyes water because of its loud top notes
I would say some fragrances are definitely missing:
- Dior Homme Intense
- Prada Luna Rossa Black
- Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme
- etc etc etc
This is based on sales, they are not his personal preferences.
Easy dior intense is S tier, rossa black B , spice bomb extreme B

@@fredericklopez7276 True, although the new dior intense doesn't work on me that well like the discontinued parfum version. I sold the 2020 batch and kept the parfum. I rarely use it, I'm afraid it's going to come to an end eventually and I can't smell that great scent.

Nice list. I'm with you on the majority of them, but The Most Wanted has to be at least an A man. I have the majority of these fragrances and I've gotten more compliments with TMW in a month than I have with some of these in a year.

I bought my first BDC back in like 2018. Was travelling around Europe and felt like a new smell. I cant remember what other ones I tried but smelling Chanel blew me away first time. Have finally ordered another bottle. Also got Sauvage on sale just to see what the hype was/is all about. Honestly dont think Iv ever smelt it. Not in airports not in bars ect so im excited to see.
Great video, Ashton. Maybe for your next tier list, you can do an 80s one. Although I know you'll put Drakkar at S, I want to see how you view Chanel Antaeus and Dior Jules in the rankings.

The only disagreement I have in the ratings, like some mentioned below is that Chanel Allure eau extreme should be Top Tier S.
I have nearly all of these fragrances, and by far the most complimented ..like you said is Allure eau extreme...
I love the tier lists, I just never understood why we ditch the usual A-F for S-D. Is it to avoid giving anything an F?
I think this stems from jrpg's and Japan games in general, which follow this ranking system as long as I can remember. I think this is just convention.
And in my oppinion, AHSEE (Allure Extreme) definetly S Tier, kind of Chanel's "Clubbing Fragrance", if there is anything close to that, super high quality like Bleu, but way more youthful. I like it even better than Dior Homme Intense, which is magical (in Winter) but not very versatile. But agree with pretty much the rest of these Ratings.

I have nearly all the fragrances he mentioned ..in my 200 bottle collection. The number one most complimented most versatile ... Did I mention most complimented..like Ash said is...
Chanel Allure eau extreme.. That should be top tier.
Like you said it's bleu de Chanel more playful brother.
Other than that I agree with Ash on !he ranking.

Agreed, I guess he had a different opinion on light blue than us, but it is totally fair because everyone has different views on frags

I agree with most of your picks, but I can’t get behind Sauvage at “A” level (should be an “S”) then to add insult to injury you placed a clone (Prada Carbon) at the same level. Sauvage is the best-selling fragrance since 2015. Carbon is just Sauvage’s Armaf CDNI.
It's like putting MGK on the same level as Eminem. Then he put Bleu De Chanel in S when they both have the exact same accomplishments and impact on the fragrance world.

Thus far I have used Blue Jeans (Versace), Sun (Jil Sander), Allure Homme Edition Blanche (Chanel), L.12 (Lacoste), Essential (Lacoste), Bleu Parfum (Chanel), EdT Bleu (Chanel), Pour Monsieur (Chanel), CK One, L'Eau de Orange Verte (Hermes), Valentino Uomo, Kenzo Jungle, L'Eau d' Issey (Issey Miyake), Lacoste L1212, Vetiver Pamplemousse (Zara) etc.
You had so much space... you should've done more. I hope you make more tier list videos!

Got into fragrances about 2 years ago and was drawn to this channel because i thought Jeremy wasn’t one of those fragrance snobs but as watched ive decided Jeremy is a in fact fragrance snob hes just a bit more casual with it and not as well kept. LOVE the videos this is still the only page i go too that docent annoy me haha again love the videos man i always get a few laughs
I do love Polo Blue. I love it because of its simplicity. It just smells like I just stepped out of a shower. It’s my plain T-shirt, jeans and flip flops scent.

i got my ADG profondo today and it really does smell like straight shower gel with a bit of a higher quality to it. Not really what i was expecting with "citrus and aquatic" but i'll have to explore some better ones that don't smell like soap
No love for CK Escape? I've been wearing it since the 90s and it's still a hitter getting compliments often. The Prada and the Bad Boy are some of my new favorites. Great content, appreciate it.

Jimmy Choo Man Blue could easily be an "A" if it had a little better sillage and perfomance. Its just weaker than the expected if that makes sense. I have it and love it tbh but it's one of those amazing fragrances that require frequent reapplication. Great for spring & summer but the best bet is to keep a 3.4oz bottle on the shelf and have a 1.7oz to carry with you on those days you decide to rock it on-the-go.
I LOVE jc man blue...but I definitely bring my travel pen with me.

I love that the OG AdG is in the S class. In 2021, it’s such a great choice. People haven’t been wearing this lately. It’s not played out anymore, it’s now different. If Byredo or Roja came out with the exact same juice in a new bottle with a new name it would sell like crazy.
Haven't smelled anyone wearing the original ADG, I havent smelled anyone wearing any ADG at that. Most people that I come across are wearing Nautica Voyage or D&G Light Blue Pour Homme.
I wear it everyday. Still my signature lol

I tried a body spray today by Jeer called 1 Billion and it smells sooooo much like the thing it's blatantly ripping off... 1 Million, except ZERO performance. Amazing skin scent for pocket change lol

You know, I think I'm the only person I know who feels that the original Light Blue is still the best lol. The performance isn't great, but when I think of a nice casual day out and about during the summer, maybe going to the beach... I still think the OG Light Blue. 🤷🏻♂️

born in roma gets me compliments like its nobodies business, i have both valentino and the dolce and gabbana, everytime i ask people which one is better they ALWAYS say the valentino, not to mention the new yellow dream which is amazing.
same. i love born in roma. a little synthetic smell at first but the dry down after a few hours is the most amazing.

Great video and agree with almost everything. ADG is just… bad now with the flankers being vastly superior. So your logic was what it was and how it had impact. Ok… but then you drop Light Blue down to C when the flankers are also better and that’s almost in the same line as ADG in terms of automatic compliments. For me, they should both be in B for respect but the flankers are much much better. Overall, that list is so solid! Nicely done! Would love to see a hot weather list and a cool weather list.
The original adg edt is still great. My girlfriend loves that and the profumo. But I think she likes the original better judging by her reaction and and her comment about smelling like a MAN😀

Bleu de Chanel edp is my fav from the bleu line and I wear the parfum on special occasions
I wish you would also try to give your opinion on longevity of this fragrances because its pretty important part too.

If there was a tier higher than S, that would be K tier and only one would sit on it and that would be BDC. The smell just speaks only Class. Great vid. Would love to see tier type vids of fragrances in the future.

I've used all the S tier ones but never gotten any compliments with oud wood. Ysl Y Eau de perfume gets wonderful compliments and blue de Channel is the ultimate winner both ladies and gentlemen give lots of compliments. You can never get it on discount it's very popular that's the only negative but popular is better than common.
