- On one level, standup comedian Gary Vider’s childhood was a dream come true. He and his father, Manny, had virtually unlimited access to some of the biggest games and athletes and celebrities in the world. The only problem is that the whole thing was built on a complete lie.

I thought Pablo was about to tell us Jeremiah conned us all & I was going to be heartbroken
I want an episode on Jeremiah
This story dramatize into a movie would win awards.
starring Bryan Cranston as the dad and Timothee Chalomet as the kid
@@dakineprotoss both a little too old. I have to assume his father was in his 30's. I suppose you could find a 13 year old to pass for 11
This is the third podcast I've seen Gary on this week, and by far the best one.
Stavvys world
@@tribaljavi and soder.
Another absolute banger. This show doesn't miss.
"Worst best" or "best worst" dad ever 😂😂😂 if only he used his powers for good
Story is tragically humorous
This has the makings of a great film
This is tragic for him. He seems to be caught in an emotionally traumatic vacuum. It seemed to have aged him terribly.
Isn't he in his 40's? Looks pretty young and happy to me. Where's the tragedy?
The best Podcast of all Podcasts 💯 Pablo "Journo" Torre Finds Out 🏆
Is his dad's name Jimmy McGill?
Slipping Jimmy Jr 😮
*Stugotz
I guess this guy must be from Stugotz's first marriage.
This story is wild... definitely needed this to get my day started. Thank you Pablo! Please do a story on the LA Clippers rebrand soon! It's a fascinating story and coincides with the "new direction" that Ballmer is trying to take the team in and the whole Kawhi/PG stuff. Similar tone as the T-Wolves story but less about the ownership group and more about the actual sports going on. I'm sure you could find some really good info for us!
6:54 Will you ever choose gasbag magic?
My dad took me to the Jordan 55 point game at the garden (as far as I know under completely legitimate pretenses). For a 9 year old it was overwhelmingly electric. I wore my MJ jersey, my bulls hat, and red and black air force ones. I think this was the point at which my dad, a life long Knicks fan, realized I was a lost cause.
every time I tune in I don't think I can love this show more, but y'all drop the str8 fire 🔥🚒🔥🚒🔥
lol you guys really buried the lead about the sad turn in this story!
Fantastic episode!
Damm I thought the ending would be calling up Pops. This was great tho.
Pablo doesn't miss 😂😂😂😂 this. It is so crazy bro
What a great episode.
this is a great podcast
More 🔥🔥🔥
Terrific show. Like really good. Like really really good though
Mother is just as much to blame.
In the photo with Brokaw, is that Christiane Amanpour on Brokaw's left?
Salute to Pablo 👽🍻
awesome story
The Stu gotz is very strong in this guy’s dad
"Outer body" experience
Wild
I've never heard of Jeremiah before
Say what you want but his dad gave him lessons and experiences most kids will NEVER get! And showed him the ropes of ethics in the process 😂
Story of two scammers would be a better title.
What metric are John & david using to hypothesize that Catlin would have a major financial & viewership impact on an international event?
If you think the wnba is rough on Caitlin, imagine her playing against Australia or Spain and they don't give AF who she is or her "brand"
True….what’s your point?
@@omnivant6788 that Americans or new women’s basketball fans will have a fit when they see how physical international women play who don’t know what Iowa is
What does that have to do with my question?
The real question is did you watch the video of those 3 talking about that before you asked the question on a separate Pablo video
Who the hell allowed that kid in the same room as Josh Giddey?
Josh Giddey
i was close to tapping out for good then you hit us with this banger, nice work
No one cares! Just leave
This man lived an actual dream. Bro’s father is a real hero, super cool story
His dad is not a hero. Did you not watched the interview.
@@PeterLau23some people are pretty dumb bro
In some ways he is. Even though he had selfish intentions 😂
@@PapiZabee his actual son himself is telling you he wasn't a hero... Whatever fantasy you have in your head is irrelevant. 😂
@@PapiZabee he has not spoken to his son in 24 years so no he’s not.
How can you not ask the question - "Why?". Con men have a motive, usually money. What did the dad get out of it? Did he sell the photos or stories? Major journalistic error. Too many years on Highly Questionable!
