This topic is deep and multifaceted. I believe that the combination of Pablo's insightful questioning with Rex Chapman's unique experience could easily be a captivating topic for a documentary movie. Pablo, why don't you put on your producer's hat and make this happen? A movie about Rex Chapman could be a definitive commentary on the fascinating topic of interracial dating in America.

Racism is prevalent in Kentucky and I am so sad that Rex had to go through that. Especially having such great relationships with people of color. I wish people in the south would just leave people alone, it is so easy.

Are Rex and Skipper long lost brothers or am I just getting fooled by the Southern brogue?

I always compared Rex Chapman to Sidney Moncrief. To me their games were VERY similar. Chapman is a good guy. Always liked him.

18:25 Rex Chapman did NOT play on the USA tem with the shown player, Rick Barry, who was an NBA rookie the year Rex Chapman was born. The player he is actually mentioning is probably Ricky Berry, who ended up a King, and a suicide.
19:20 The host somehow has the impression that Jerry West couldn't jump. West could in fact jump almost as well as Chapman and, despite some contrary listings, was only about an inch shorter than Chapman.

At many high schools, the football coaches 'steal' all the big guys and there's not anybody left to play BBall.

@@davidjohnson5164 I would have loved to hear his experience as a young yt man surrounded by ppl who harbored racial biases and racist ideologies. I'd be curious to hear how those same ppl thought about our political scene at that time, and how those ppl voted.

he earned his rep as a dirty player over a period of several years.
it takes a long time to earn losing that rep once you've earned that rep.
from what little I've seen of him this year it seems he's stqrted on the 2nd path.
his game has had my respect. so I can agree with how you phrased that, but
do either of us really know how most other people feel about a thing like that?
according to who? what mind-reader reads everyone's, or most folks', minds?
