Hot damn!! Another Mike "Bro Bro with the Mo Mo" Hildalgo video?? Glad to see you cleaned up before all that CRUD went down the spark plug holes, Mike.. Well Done, Dude!!!
Can you tell me if I leave the aircon vent flap permanently open is OK? Cos the flap is damaged n closed. Therefore I can replace it or leave it open permanently. Which option is better?
is specifically the 12 point socket mandatory? like are the factory plugs a different shape? i dont know if i need to go out and find a 12 point spark plug socket so i dont have to stick a magnet down the cylinder to fetch the spark plug
My 2018 c43 has 37032 miles. I was thinking about replacing the plugs and coil packs. The AMG runs fine. But the service guy at Mercedes said at 40,000 everything needs changing in the ignition. What I don't know is what is 'everything'? and how much will 'everything' cost with labor to change. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I recently changed the front struts and rear shocks at a cost of $3800 at Mercedes because the front end made noise over man-made street bumps designed to slow traffic. So nothing is cheap there -- and it took 11 days for Mercedes to finish the repairs because the guy fixing my car was tied up with an engine overhaul, and then the alignment machine was broken. During that time, I rode my bike to college at St. John's University and everywhere else. It was a bit difficult navigating in heavy traffic but after a few days, I found the best ways to go. The repairs were at Helm's bro's Mercedes in Flushing, NY.
I changed my spark plugs and coil packs in my 2017 Mercedes Benz c300 but after I felt my car misfiring. I checked it with the scanner and it shows that my cylinder 4 is misfiring. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem? My car never had the misfiring issue until I installed the new parts
Try switching the #4 coil pack with another to see if it still misfires, then you know it is the coil pack. You may want to try the same with the plug and start with disconnecting and checking the wire harness connection to coil pack. Good Luck!!!
Just bought the coil kit from FCP Euro! Excellent prices. I'll be back to buy parts for my Cayenne S ;-)
Did you actually index the plugs? You mentioned the marks, but never said how to line them up if you did so. Thanks!
Really really detailed instructions! Thank you so much for all 🙏🙏🙏🙏
How did you check the spark plug was indexed properly? You mentioned a mark on the socket but didn't show checking it.
that’s what I was wondering.
These videos are so calming. Thanks, Mike Hidalgo!
Thank you for watching Kelsey McDonnell!

Good job , good video, everything understand .
Did you have to gap the new spark plug since they’re aftermarket?
Hello, these are pre-gapped and ready to install!
Which fuse control the coil ?
I’ve been searching and can’t find it
The PCM sends voltage to the Coil Packs. If in doubt, read the Schematic.
How do you know if you need 272, 273 or 274 any markings or label on the coils? Thanks
How do I know if I need to replace my ignition coils?
Well... You need to be pretty much dead not to notice when them coils need to be changed
Your car will shake, and your check engine light will come on.
They might need to be replaced prior to showing signs, though.
When your A3 Service light comes on my guy
Why do they reccomend using a 12 point socket ?
2019 GLC300 is different?
