I used a vacuum before removing the spark plugs, it helps to clean all the sand and debris. Edit: I just finished replacing the plugs and I believe compressed air or a combination of both is the best option.
for these non moving parts. I dont think the torque is very important. hand tie those bolt but dont apply too much force. It might break the plastic parts.
I was looking for info on the C300. It would have been beneficial if this DIY video actually had something to do with the C300. Sure, spark plugs are replaced in a similar manner however, the process is bit different for a 3.5L. Also, there is no warning about using air tools to do this type of maintenance. Joe DIY sees air tools being used and might just assume that it is okay to use air tools to perform the whole procedure. It is definitely not a good idea to use air tools on ignition components.
If you change very old ones you will notice the car idles smooth and doesnt drops rpms under load like AC while in drive at red lights, also gets a bit better fuel mileage.
Wow really thanks I have a question Do i have to use obd2 scanner before or after install spark plug?? Or just install that and finish??(no other operation?) I want that your channel forever

Made it look easy. I don't have the tools like you so I will take it to a mechanic
Yes, it is easy - but you are right, you need tools to do this job
This is a great video. Very well done 👍🏽! Thank you so much 😊
Glad it was helpful!
The stealership wanted $1,100 to do this job. 😂
No thanks! I just bought the plugs and did it myself. Kept $1,000 in my pocket.
Thank you for the vid!
Awesome, glad it was helpful
How much psi should i use for blowing out the dirt?
It won't hurt anything, so whatever you have
Great video….but what year is this car? After 2014 models of the c300 changed motors and I heard it way more difficult to change plugs and coils.
This one is 2017, it's straight forward process like in video
How do I change the coil pack on a c300 4 matic 9:52
Just did this, took me 2 hours and if anyone is wondering you’ll need a 14mm spark plug socket 😂 I had to go get one lol
Glad it worked out for you, 2 hours is not bad - better to take time and do it properly
Are the cylinder numbers front of engine to back 1-4
Epic 🎉 thank you 🙏
Is this the same process for a 2014 e350?
Should be the same
Great work. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
thanks for the video - I have a 2017 C350e PHEV - do I need to disconnect the 12V battery before doing this job?
Yes, you might want to disconnect - but you will loose setting, seat, radio, etc...
Do you need anti seize on threads? Will it help when taking them out?
It doesn't hurt - but you don't really need it for new plugs/models
Hi , could you please show me how can i check power steering fluid in W205?🙏🙏🙏 thanks
It has Electric Power Steering - no fluid required
@@NewRoad thanks man 🙏🙏🙏
Same as checking the turn blinker fluid... 😉
Good VDO, nice works
How important is the torque if u dont have any at home?
for these non moving parts. I dont think the torque is very important. hand tie those bolt but dont apply too much force. It might break the plastic parts.
I think it’s very important for this engine or else plugs won’t be indexed and it will cause piston damage
Old sparks look rusty, is there some way to safely clean those deep sockets before introducing new sparks?
You can blow air and vacuum before removing old spark plug to make sure dust and particles are removed
What torque settings for the bolts?
should be in the video
Great video!
Same process for w213 E220 d?
Changing sparkplugs on your diesel could be a little more difficult
Really well done video, thank you!
Thank you for this. Super easy.
Glad it was helpful!

What year is your C300?
please how do you know the plugs you are buying are original ?
I checked specs and when I removed old ones I checked and it matches NGK SILZKFR8E7S: amzn.to/3wQ6yGZ
Felt any difference after installed ?
Not really, since I keep up with all maintenance

Please make a video about installing bov spacer on w205. I love the sound but i doubt it’s safe or not for the engine durability
I am not a big fan of that sneezing sound 😂
Hello ! Have hade a Weistec VTA valve for 2.5 years no issues
Have about 37k 3.5 year old e300 still oe plugs on it .. is it worth doing this at this age and miles? Vs waiting for 50k+ miles? 5+ years age?
Here is the video that may help you to decide: ua-cam.com/video/vHhqcs2SJKQ/v-deo.html
Do we need to worry about them facing injectors?
German engineering - we just follow their design and maintenance
Wow really thanks
I have a question

I want that your channel forever
Just install, no need to reset anything
No, just replace it, you don't need to reset anything
Excellent video, thank you
Can you please upload w205 engine belt replacement
Will do as soon as I create vid.
My 2017 c300 coupe comes gap at .028
how do you take the coil off so smooth? I see others having hard times and even breaking them
If yo maintain it all the time - should be easy to remove. A proper direction and little wiggle - but NOT excessive to prevent braking
Reason why you didn't use anti seize on the plugs.
If I recall correctly - those plugs didn't need anti seize [manufacturer did not recommended]
Broke two of the coils trying to pull them off the spark plugs. Faaaaak 😢
How? did you tilt it when pulling out?
What do dielectric grease
it sealing out moisture and preventing corrosion
