- The PSVITA and PSP still have online communities surrounding them! In today's video, i will be showing you the Most Active PSVITA & PSP Online Games in 2023. This list includes games from franchises like Killzone, Call of Duty, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon Ball Z, Need for Speed and many more.
Disclaimer: I had a few issues with some games on this list as well as testing the PSP online functionality. Instead, i did researched and tracked player counts to gauge population size and activity. This seemed to be a fair compromise, but your millage may vary.

just got myself a vita again today in 2023 and i love it.
My first online experience was Medal Of Honor Heroes and it's sequel. Those were amazing games
Forgot all about MOH Heroes 2! Great memories playing that online.

I have a PS5, decent PC and Xbox one x.. But man, killzone on Vita, just blows me away with how good it looks for an almost 15 year old HAMD HELD console. Incredible.

I remember playing Fireteam Bravo 2. I'm a huge fan of the socom series. The only socom games I played online were FTB2 and Confrontation. Sadly, I can't play my PSP anymore. It stil works and I even use it to pass files or games to my PS3, but the movement pad and one of the directional buttons got broken and it became impossible to play any of my games. I need to repair it or just buy a new one.
as a rule of thumb the handheld version of any fighting game is not really the recommended way to play , but i understand the context of the video
Medal of Honor heroes 1 and 2 are my favorite psp games of all time. Unfortunately The severs shut down in 2011 I was depressed for a few weeks 🤣. I played socom fire team bravo 1-3 all when they came out for psp they were so fun. Never cared for the vita to me the psp is superior

Borderlands 2 on the PS Vita benefits GREATLY from overclocking the PS Vita. With a hacked/cfw enabled PS Vita, there's multiple tools you can get to overclock the PS Vitas ARM processor. If I recall, you can overclock it from 333mhz all the way up to 500mhz, so a pretty big increase. At 500mhz, the PS Vita plays Borderlands 2 closer to 30 fps, as opposed to 15 fps or so at stock settings. Well worth doing, I've been overclocking my COD declassified limited edition PS Vita for years without issue.
The patapon 3 servers are still working to this day! I checked it right now. Its just dead and a bit buggy with some connecting errors.

Call of Duty in my opinion on the Vita plays like it's call of duty 3 with how you die and added sprint like a mod.
''God eater: resurrection'' still works. GL finding other players tho. I'm sure God eater 2 works as well. Same story with ''Ragnarok Odyssey ACE.'' You can find a list of psvita/ps4 crossplay games online. I'm assuming all of those will still work. Excluding PSO2.

You can buy a cheap older wifi extender that uses 2.4Ghz and has the correct security uses for the PSP and just connect it to that.
