Ghost recon future soldier has had such a small playerbase on ps3 even as far back as 2015 when I played it, glad to hear that some people are still able to enjoy it. Really fun tactical shooter.
My ps3 is still used for Killzone 2, Resistance FoM, and Socom Confrontation. Mainly Killzone 2 (one of my all-time favorite games), but I feel like I'm able to play these greats that I missed online.

Far cry 2 and 4 have not officially been shutdown, but both have severe server issues where the online is unreachable. This also goes for Far Cry 4 on the PS4. Ubisoft is aware of the problem and has said to be 'working on it' but it has been a while now

Hey, nice video! Just wanted to say 2 things, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Driver: San Francisco had their online shut down on October last year. I don't think you needed to include those two games but it's fine!

You forgot the Gran Turismo games for the PS3! 5 and 6 especially. For GT6, You have to have an jailbroken PS3 first and then have some hacked launch files to replace the ones that is rooted inside your PS3 to start playing online. It's fairly easy but it will take you a good 2 - 3 hours to get it all set-up. GT6 active player base is small and at max I saw about 15 players playing online and racing together within a few month of me playing it recently at least once a week mainly on the weekends. For GT5 I think you can connect with only just LAN to another players so no really modding is needed... I think. I never tried GT5 online since I never own the disc at all nor not really interested playing it in general. Going by some articles I saw a few years back so take my words with a grain of salt. And I have Ridge Racer 7 and played it online! It's mainly a small community that still plays it and recently I herd that the most hardcore types of players have locked the rooms for private races due to the small rise in PS3 online activities going on when I read about one UA-cam comment about a retrospective about RR7 itself. That game is still great and under-looked for a Ridge Racer game... Matter of fact most racing games from the 90's and 2000's have some hidden gems underneath that either rarely get's talked about or just an arcade only exclusive that never had a home/PC release that SOME (SEGA AND NAMCO) companies refusing to even bring it to modern times as the current racing game market is utterly dreadful with indie games carrying the entire market right now. Mini rant aside this was a good insight video for the PS3 that is basically a fucking dinosaur!
That game is legitimately the only reason I picked up my PS3 again after upgrading and getting a PC - nothing comes close to it, so far ahead of its time.
OG demon souls serves have been shut down for a couple years now. Dark Souls 1 & 2 you can get people on the weekends and the odd late night, especially in pvp spots
I don't see Battlefield 3 onwards shutting down for a very long time. Main reason being rented servers, plenty of people still pay to host their own servers which should keep the games alive for a longer time than the Bad Company games where this wasn't a thing. Not to mention the amount of backlash they'd get considering 3 & 4 are widely praised as the best of the series and still extremely active on other platforms to this day.
Actually, Bad Company is considered the best in the series and as a Battlefield fan, i can confirm this. For me Bad Company 2 was a peak for Battlefield franchise, at least for consoles, and Vietnam DLC was a blast. Newer games are much more chaotic and looks like shit on PS3. Low res textures, incredibly bad framerate, limited destruction. I hope they will release remastered versions of Bad Company 1 and 2.

WARNING FOR DEADSPACE 3 ON PS3: If you never got the game when it came out, and only just now getting a copy to try out the online co op, it’s basically unplayable. EA did that dumb thing where you had to buy an online pass if you got the game used in order to access the online servers, but they don’t offer the option to download it anymore on playstation. I was trying to access on East Coast USA and had no luck getting the online pass through the PS store or in-game. As far as I know the only work around is to get the game digitally but I haven’t been able to personally try it out to see if it works that way :/
@tomb6667 I haven’t personally tried out dead space 2 multiplayer. TBH I only tried 3 bc I was looking For co op games to play with my cousin and we saw it had online co op. But unfortunately the online Co Op was unplayable for us

FYI Demon's Souls's servers were shutdown a while back but there is a private server for it

Dragon's Crown is fairly active. The online multiplayer is shared with Vita and PS4 versions so all play together.
