I played this last year and this year at my school. I play the bass for my high school and I love this piece so much.
We're playing this for our Winter Concert, and it's one of my favorite songs in the repertoire.

my all county orchestra's playing this. it's very beautiful. the violas have lots of the melody too, yay! finally!

I heard it last night for the 1st time at my daughter's orchestra concert.Such a beautiful composition it sneak upon me and grabbed my heart.
I'm Playing this in my High school as well. The cello next to me wanted to cry. I told him he could. :)

Actually, if you think about who it was made for both of you are wrong. It is meant to played as vows are being read to the groom and bride, so it goes to college aged and older.

well the author dedicated it to a her friends that were getting getting married. but that doesnt mean you can't play it when you are in middle school or younger.
