Hope this helps all of you leaning musicians!
I'm pretty sure a lot of people that played cello can agree the cello part was fucking lit.
I played it last year and our teacher had us refresh after every one of those staccato quarter notes in the beginning.
Facts my school just started this song
Eh the violin was the melody
Solarformula 888 same
James Jackson agreed
High school: we have the best orchestra
Middle school:
Conner Diep this is the only comment I’ve seen that is from a reasonable time ago 😂 all the other comments are from years ago
FACTS
Im in middle school and we played this.
@@carlsonjoe7346 i played it for summer camp in 5-6th grade i think lol
I’m in high school and we played this
how to comment on a orchestra video format:
where my *insterment you play* at!?
or

Pretty much, yeah.
cello part was wild....all my friends are cellos and they love this song
Mhm!!
Your friends are all cellos?! :O
Woah that’s cool I always wanted a cello to be my friend
@@Income_Clips I'm your friend! I play cello! BE MY FRIEND! I'M LONELY!
bro how r all ur frie ds cellos,,, i want cello friends 😔
Aztecs never saw it coming. Neither did the Incas. Poor lads.
Vladimir's Russia SHIT!
dammit pizzaro
This made me laugh lol
The Aztecs had it coming for treating the neighboring tribes like slaves and EATING them. Cortés took advantage. Karma!
The Incas were fighting a civil war among themselves. Pizarro took advantage. Karma!
Right, that damn Pizarro
Where are my violists?
Tis I,
The frenchiest fry.
yo
Creqm EY, DATS ME!
ayyyy right here m8
Right here!! ;)
Whoever is commenting about how hard this song is has never actually played this because is not hard.
AkwadTypo YT
That's true. All you need to do is practice over and over again but my school seems to have a problem with that, hence why everyone complained about how "difficult" it was.
I was just like "Really people?"
I wouldn't say that it's hard but I have trouble with some parts occasionally.
Rhianon Jacobsin I just had trouble on pats after the coda
It's tricky at first, but it gets so easy that you can play it by memory in the end
Orianna Owns No he's right it's easy af
Guys just remember that violins, violas, cellos, and basses all matter. No forgotten instruments
Nah violas dont matter they can never do anything right
I am playing this on the cello, with my orchestra at my Christmas concert
Last year I played this on the cello, and even if I leveled in a symphony orchestra, still love this song. This song involves the cello lot and it's awesome and fun to play!
Samee!
God I love this song, we played this in 7th grade for my orchestra I played 1st violin. I love it especially because ALL instruments in this song get part of a spotlight.
The adventure for the violins, and the calm slow part for the cellos give me chills every time
same! I was also a first violin and I loved it
bass starts crying in the corner* (kinda)
Oh my gosh! I miss playing soo bad! I played the violin for 2 years but I had to quit. :( this was my favorite song to play and I still remember every note.
+T0rbj0rn #shotsfired
T0rbj0rn i didnt quit music. I quit playing. Im still a musician but i sing now.
Pretty good on bass shoutout to all bass players
Bass face baby
Giovanni Rabinal thanks man
1:08 That made me sad, because they weren't nearly as loud as they should've been.
The bass and cello part was frick-fracking lit there, hhhhhhh
heck yes bass
He'll yeah
I played this last year and now when I look at the music it just gives me so much memories... also any cellists out there?
Me, I'm playing it this year
yep! love this song
yep. I'm playing this right now and I've only been playing cello for 6 months.
Yup, been playing cello for 7 years (10th grade)
+Ankita Ghosh Cello #1
The picture has spelled Conquistador wrong
Snap I just noticed
Kittycat lover90 just noticed
wow ur right lol
Lmao
Whoops!
Played this in 7th grade. 4 first violins, 4 second violins, 4 violas, 3 cellos, 2 bass players, One big amazing concert💖
I had this playing in my head for nights and even had a dream about playing it!
i love this song! im playing it in for solo and ensamble with my friends and we love it. the composer is great, made star of county down which is also an amazing song that i played at all county.
I agree. This is one of my favorite orchestral song composers along with Doug Spata.
Anna Kornilova Yes Deborah Baker Monday and Doug Spata compose super exciting pieces, but I think my favorite composer is Soon Hee Newbold. I play viola and she gives awesome parts to violas :). But I just auditioned for all county a couple days ago and my teacher said I got in so I hope viola gets a good part :/.
Oh! Are the results back? I auditioned as well. I can tell that I won't get a good chair and I might not get in though. I really did bad on the sight reading part and they had technical difficulties and had to separate my audition into two parts. My teacher loves Soon Hee Newbold as well! There are some really great songs, I'll try to dig some up to play. Gosh, I hope I do get in though.
Anna Kornilova The suspense is killing me! I can't wait until monday. I wish we could know sooner.
Anyone a cello? 🤘🏼😛
Yup! Right here!
No but I've always wanted to try. hi fren by the way
themidnightcerealeater yuhs
String Bass
me
I love this song it’s so fun. violas get such a good part in it
Looks like I'm the only bassist lol. This is song is so intense for me😂 its a battlefield in the room when we play this
Ayeee, bassist, cellist, violist, and violinist here!
+Uranium YAMS SAME
You're not the only one. Just the violin conformists and the cello/viola "forgotten ones" are taking everything over.
I’m a bassist too!
bassist here too! :>
I'm playing this in 2nd violin for my winter concert.
+Bella Garrison same!
Aimee Barajas Cool!
I play the bass
Second Violin is the best. I play second for this song
no, first is way better.
OMGz I LOVE this song!!! :D I'm a cellist, and I enjoyed this everytime we played it! I mean, it's an AMAZING song~
Our conductor knows the composer personally~ we got to talk to her~
But enough about that. I NEVER got tired of this song(even though my hand would hurt like heck after playing this...) But we played this during a music camp. I'm glad I got into the lower orchestra! Or I think it was the lower orchestra.. :/ I don't think the other orchestra played it.
This song could be a video game theme. Think about it.
I'm learning this on violin comment if you play violin
2nd 🎻
+Foxy The Pirate FTV
Mee!! Playing it for my honor strings class
+lakyra anderson cool I always wanted to do honors but I never could because of nerves
+Amanda Coomer I'm playing this in 2nd violin. Such a shame. I mean, being in 2nd is nice and all, but I do wish to be in 1st, I just can't play that kind of stuff so well, plus, I can't vibrato very well.
i play this on the 2nd violin, and tbh im jealous of the other parts
Yea same lol
same girl same
Yeah same
Me too
Karen Chinko the 2nd violin part was wayyy better
I'm the viola part in this video.
Good 4 u
im teaching myself this on cello. its such a pretty piece
Any violist ( the forgot instruments) ;(
I play viola
at least we sorta have the melody in this song #viola
me
violists are cool too ^^
Chelsy Solis It's so sad, we violists are essentially third violins, we're so left out.
I have played violin for years, and this is one of my most favorite songs to play. Unfortunately, I don't remember how to play it. lol *sad face*
Trust me, muscle memory kicks in at random times lmao
This is awesome! I played it last year in 6th grade, on 1st violin.
YESSSSS BASS GODS!!!!!!!😍
I'm playing this song rn in my advanced orchestra at Hyde Park and it's so fun!!!
Alondra Chavez im in chamber 😍
Sarah Elizabeths life cool!!! I asked him to put me in chamber but there wasn't enough room. So he said he needed strong players in advanced! Can u play vibrato? I can it's arm vibrato. I've practiced it for 3 years and now I can do it myself
Alondra Chavez yes we do vibrato and its arm vibrato no wrist if that makes sense we play all the scales with vibrato and for my winter concert so far we do it on long whole notes on somewhere in my memory and conqusidor. im in nevada
its my 3rd year 8th grade
Alondra Chavez also at a academy school is hard and this but keeps me busy
Last year I played this, and i was 2nd chair cello. it was SO FUN playing this song. Just YES. dun dun fun fun...
finally a viola part that isnt 99% quarter notes & half notes hmm
Pretty confident it was this song that made me enjoy playing music. Thanks Dr. Holt at pioneer heritage middle school symphonic orchestra
the bass part is fucking fire
"Thumbs up if you play viola!"
"Thumbs up if you play cello!"
"Thumbs up of you play bass!"
I'm playing this song on 2nd violin. Viola's think they're the forgotten instrument, hell nah, it's Violin II that's always forgotten
Strange_Obsessions :D Seriously? The viola is always forgotten - more so than the second violin. Most people don't even know what a viola is. The violin in general is more well known and put in the spotlight than the viola no matter what part you have. Don't even go there acting like the VIOLIN is more forgotten than the viola.
openveinsk that's an over exaggeration, people still know what a viola is. I for one like it better than the violin, and I was thinking of switching instruments. The viola section is probably the largest section in my entire Orchestra
openveinsk honestly, All top comments are voilà and cello parts. You need to calm yourself.
Actually 2nd violin makes of maybe a quarter of the song
yeah well some people see a cello and think it's a guitar
Anybody played the Deborah Baker Monday arrangement of Jupiter before? It's really epic (I'm a cello btw)
Ye along with night shift by richard and this song
have you seen day of wrath by Deborah Baker Monday, it's flipping hardddd and intense
nathaniel williams I’ve played both of these listed along with conquistador, both very amazing pieces
Yes, but have you played Night Ride by Deborah Baker Monday?
playing this song makes people think you're god level on your instrument lmao, its funny
I'm so excited to learn this song next year during the spring, it's going to be awesome!!
Yass I'm playing this at school! Yaaasss first violins!!!:-D
I heard this song when it was played by my school's orchestra. I've loved it ever since. It is so beautiful. Best part is 1:30-3:01.
Theres more basses than violins in my school orchestra
Yukendoit !!!!!!!????????!!!!!!???????
Yukendoit Thats A first
Where can I sign up?
TAKE ME TO YOUR SCHOOL!!!
Yukendoit wtf how lol
I played the cello for 3 years and I played this my first year and it was honestly my favorite piece out of all the ones I’ve played. Listening to this brings back memories and make me miss playing 😭❤️
OMG I have been looking for this song for so long! I am not in orchestra, but i listened to the orchestra rehearsal at my school and it was so good! I love it!
Where are my cellos? In my orchestra, we're so unappreciated
Daydreamer_Iris xD no one
Daydreamer_Iris let's be honest violas get the most shit
Only 3 in my class rip.
5 in eighth grade I think? 1 bass riiip
In my orchestra, everyone loves cello and violin but ignores the viola and bass.

ayyyye first violin
I love the beginning when the bass plays. So ominous!
Every part in this song is played so equally that it makes me smile.
Throwbacks to 7th grade
We're playing this in my school's honor strings
I've completely memorized the 1st and 2nd violin part. This piece brings back so many memories. My school went to Atlanta Georgia and played in a competition there, we won! This is definitely one of my favorite pieces :')
i played this peice last year as a 1st violin
everyone thought this was a fun and upbeat song!
we preformed it at the Peak music compititions and the judges said that the song had amazing energy!

Genuinely the song itself isn’t hard, you just have to keep tempo
