Thanks for endorsing our Indian music in all its inclusiveness. Some years ago some creep was insulting our music by calling it "cheap". I shut him up in quite the way you put it. I said we've probably used/adapted ALL the instruments across the globe in our songs at some time or the other. But the converse isn't true.

Lata jee must be in her 70s when she did this show,..Lata Mangeshkar is not even comparable to the singers you mentioned on this channel,.It is as good as comparing a honda city with space shuttle,.If you will pay close attention to the nuances she does with her vocal you will be mesmerised..Those things are beyond the capacity of modern singers,.Trust me..

It is good old Bollywood music with meaningful lyrics, guided and inspired by exceptional lyricists of yesteryears, that my man is impressed by. And of course, Lataji delivered exceptionally well, as fresh as it was recorded years bwfore. Today's music is something else though. Bewarned.
