Absolutely mind blowing ❤❤ Lata Ji is a doyen of Indian music she is the Goddess Maa Saraswati herself personified- hats off to your analysis 🙏🏼🙏🏼
❤Lata is Lata nobody can explain her
Thoroughly enjoyed this music appreciation video…I learned so much just listening to the devotional song with your notes and observations! Thank you!
Tanya, you have an absolutely wonderful taste in music. Loved your reaction and the fact that you precisely understood the variations and also realized how difficult those variations are! Thank you for this. It was great to hear your reaction!
I also recommend you listen to Suniyo Ji Araj Mhariyo from the movie Lekin. This one is also composed by Pt. Hridayanath Mangeshkar ji and this song will transport you to another level! Absolutely smashing!!
05:04 You did that really well
Love from India. Go for it Love.
Divine singing and wonderful presentation Tanya
i simply loved this video. I too have her album. Thank you for sharing this with us.
The explanation has made the song better.
I had heard this - may be 40 years ago.
And since you mentioned her light tone, you must listen to ‘Tumhein yaad karte karte’ and ‘Kisne Pukara mujhe mein’. These two songs are very soft tones and she couldn’t sound more angelic than in these two songs👼🏼
The genius of Lata Mangeshkar notwithstanding, the primary magic of this song is the immortal poetry of Meera!!!
I love the feeling of hanging out over the beauty of music intricacies that you bring to your videos. I miss those times from my younger days :)
Lata was having a god gifted voice...she is only one and class of her own
Love and respects to Lata ji such people are born 1 in million years
Her voice was a miracle of God. No such voice can ever come to earth again. 🙏
Ms. Wells, Kudos to you decoding such a difficult masterpiece. As a trained Classical musician I can say it full authority that you did a stupendous job. Bravvoooo🎉
There are so many wonderful singers from around the world who deserve to be heard. But a very small number of them have to be experienced. Lata Mangeshkar is one of those. But it takes a certain level of appreciation for the music to experience her. You my dear Tanya, have that X factor. You have the ability to sing this song, follow its subtle tonal modulations, and you are able to lock into the devotional dimension to it. It is so obvious from your face and your own voice. It is a pleasure to hear your commentary. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and best wishes.
Music is more deeper than oceans 🌊🙌🔥 Your journey is really commendable .
tanya also is blessed with a very beautiful voice ... God bless her
Loved your reaction and you are a very good singer too
Lata ji is great and incomparable. Her voice is mesmerizing. So does the ragas of this bhajan. Indian bhajans follow one of the many ragas the lyrics written based on the. She is perfect in rendering the ragas with the lyrics.
Superb !
Eternally beautifully...she is ❤
Yes it's a tabala .This reaction from you is a true dedication and appreciation to the song sung by Late Lataji ..respects.There is story told by the great Shenayi player Ustad Bismilla Khan saab that they would go to listen to Lataji whenever a opportunity came just to spot a flaw and they could never catch one that says much .

Lataji is beyond words. She is God's special, unique, one & only creation... You have understood and interpreted the composition beautifully. These are very complex and impeccably executed creations. People have aspired to be as her, inspired endlessly by her, but nobody can reach the pinnacle that she has achieved
Great number, wonderfully well explained. Thank you.
Tanya, you have very fine ears. God bless you.

Thanks a lot for sharing this . U are blessed as u undertood the depth of this composition.
Dear Tanya,
At the first place, I 'm stunned the way you speak about the immortal Lata ji.
Any Indian would agree that her songs directly touch the soul . And if you ask them why that is so , majority of them won't be able to answer .
But your video gave answer to that question.
I'm grateful to you.
YOU TAUGHT ME HOW TO LISTEN LATA DIDI.
PROFOUND REGARDS.
