This is how a tuner shop should operate. Take notes. The fact he sits down and explains how much power he "could" make and goes into why that isn't a good idea is commendable. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar, as they say. Haha.
If I ever get my bike tuned I will ride it from Florida up to South Carolina you do amazing stuff man and clearly know your stuff. The way you took into account that the Pistons are cast so you didn’t push the engine as hard as you could have is such a perfect example of why you want experienced tuners because there’s just things that you might not even think about that someone with experience knows about like those cast pistons.
I kind of get why this bike has the restrictions that it does. It is a naked bike, not really meant for racing, so the idea would be that the target rider is going to and from work every day - they're never gonna hit full throttle, much less 12k RPM. And the power it does have that is usable on the street is pretty impressive, IMO. I'm not a fan of crazy high MPH pulls on these, just because of the wind pushing you around. I've taken mine to 150, but I start getting pushed around so much it starts to become unnerving. Maybe I'm a wuss. That said, having mine tuned was the best thing I've done to it. So amazing.

I can’t imagine it with another 50hp 😵💫🫠😱… I don’t think a lot of people understand just how fast a bike with 180 hp to the wheel is. And then because it’s super charged it has stupid amounts of torque in places where you don’t expect there to be torque. That bike is an animal and it wanted to kill me id shit myself if just the throttle was more aggressive without the extra 50hp yo gave it…. Going fast is fun, but then you can go further than just going fast to the point where it’s plain scary and no longer fun …. I need a few more years of riding before I could actually enjoy something with that much power and not be overwhelmed with anxiety and the feeling of impending doom the entire time I’m on it…. I literally needed a cigarette after riding that thing in stock configuration….. I can’t believe you just squeezed another 50 hp out of that thing 😮💨😰. It’s plenty fast out the box. I bought one of these when they came out in 2020. The ECU was locked down for a long time, to the point I gave up on flashing it. When they first started flashing them, I thought I'd give it some time to see how they held up. In the past year they all look to be doing pretty well with no major issues. The biggest problem with the bike is the short wheelbase. Stock, I could easily do roll on wheelies at triple digit speeds. This is just going to make it worse so looking for swing arm extensions now. The other issue is the stock rear shock is a POS. No matter what you do, it rides like crap unless you have super smooth pavement. I had been on the fence about selling it but now that the tunes are out, and seemingly reliable, time to jump back in. In general it has been a flawless bike so far other than the issues mentioned.
