    I love this story. Thank you. I do wish you’d put some stories of people who take longer to habituate. Your stories are all quick change people but I’m one of your clients and I’ve been wearing my maskers for a year and I’m still not habituated. It’s a little defeating to your clients that take longer.

    Thank you Treble Health for her testimony! Just listening to her turned off tinnitus totally because she was so calming and was offering hope on so many levels and I completely agreed 100% with everything she said. I have periods that it’s not there at all and then it will spike because I wasn’t properly caring for myself and just not relaxed enough. I am much more aware now of how to respond properly to eventually decrease it and just move on. She’s done really well in just 3 months. It’s taken me a 1.5 years to get here. I listened to The Anxiety Guy on UA-cam and he’s helped me a lot with anxiety. Thank God for all the people out there who are filling in where the ENTs and doctors fail us constantly. God bless you all!! They have so much knowledge and real empathy!! It’s so important to get to the root cause. Listening to pink noise at night seems to help a lot too!

    Wow these testimonies are very helpful! I hate how some audiologists don't have a clue. Mine told me my hearing was perfect but he didn't know anything about treating tinnitus. I had called the office before making the appointment and asked do they treat it. I confirmed several times and I also told them that an ENT office lied to me and said they treat it, but when I got there they said not really! But I will say, that crazy doctor who said wearing smaller shoes might help tinnitus was kinda right. I wore some ill fitting shoes by mistake and it significantly reduced the tinnitus because of the severe pain. Also, the tinnitus basically obliterated my anxiety. Once I got tinnitus, it was no need to worry about anything else. I guess my mind was like this is the worst, so don't sweat the small stuff!

    I can definitely relate to this, pretty much the same story here, except no headaches and that haven't found a massage therapist, I don't even know how to look for one, stiffness in my neck, painful/noisy jaw, in fact if I push my jaw to aside, tinnitus reduces from 8 to 3 . Could you elaborate what kind of therapy or procedure the deep massage is? Not sure if my health insurance would cover, but it doesn't matter, I'm desperate

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  3 місяці тому +1

      It sounds like you may have a somatic component to your tinnitus since you can manipulate the sound with jaw movements. We recommend following up with your dentist to check for TMJ. Your dentist may have a good referral for a deep tissue massage as well.

      @@treblehealthI am hearing mixed things on this. I am in Canada and I wish I could have a conversation with you but you don’t take Canadian patients which has added to my frustration. There is a TRT clinic 1 hour away from me and there are testimonials of people who claim to have had a reduction in volume in their Tinnitus like 90 percent gone or some have claimed that it’s gone altogether after wearing the generators for 2 years. This I find hard to believe since many still suffer and many testimonials from your clinic do not support this. The audiologists at the clinic where I was referred to have told me that it is possible to have a reduction and to have it eventually go away completely after following TRT protocols. But I also hear “there is no cure” and “its not possible to reduce T volume”. Why the contradiction?

    If I get it right, for each person tinnitus cause is very individual. And notice that very many people say that sound therapy is helpful. But if I don’t have an opportunity right now to buy any maskers, will it be reasonable to do other things like meditations probably or mind-body work like yoga or something? Or is it impossible to predict what is going to be helpful in my individual case?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  3 місяці тому +4

      We understand the cost of the sound therapy devices is not affordable for everyone. You can absolutely still use sound therapy and mindfulness techniques to help habituate. The Resound Tinnitus Relief app is a great app to use sound therapy daily. Set the volume to a soft but audible level and use it in the background as much as possible. Find a few relaxation techniques that work for you (breathing/meditation/yoga/exercise) and implement them daily. You can do this! We can also help guide you without using maskers.
