- Hi, everybody. I just realized that I have not yet introduced you to Blackstone's completely redesigned Press & Sear Burger Kit. I premiered it in a live a few weeks ago, but I've never shown it here. The new Press & Sear tool will take your Blackstone smash burgers to the next level AND the new spatula design is the best TO-DATE!
Thank you for watching. You are loved by God! He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to live, die, and be resurrected for the forgiveness of your sins! Trust Jesus and proclaim him as Lord today and I'll see you in heaven one day.

didn't think it was any different than a regular press and I thought the original would be better. Found one of the original ones and used it tonight and BOY WAS I WRONG. Didn't even come close to a regular press. Like the size of the new one so I won't have to move the press around. Now to find it at work and sneak it into the house so the wife doesn't find out I bought ANOTHER Blackstone product. Keep the videos coming
Buy her some flowers she'll forgive you !
The reason your getting shells in your egg is your technique. Use a flat surface to break your egg. When you use the egg ring or the side of the pan it causes pieces of shell to get pushed into the egg then when you open it the pieces of shell get stuck in the egg white and bam you got shells in your egg.
Sounds like you know your crack! :)
Use Duke’s Mayo when cooking. Duke's contains a higher ratio of egg yolks than most other commercial mayos, which makes it rich, creamy, and less likely to separate when heated. There's a wisp of tang from vinegar and a touch of paprika.
Dukes, the official Mayo of the South. Love it. But try Japanese Mayo. Oh my is it good.
I’m here to see how this burger smasher performs. Hi Todd!
DAMN! The press is made right now! Thanks Blackstone.
I took the handles off the egg rings. Keep the ring on, then flip, then remove. Works great
Thats awesome! My Blackstone smash tool broke at the welds so i had to weld the handle back on and the logo grooves in the old spatula would catch and ruin a good sear!. Thanks Todd!!
Getting to hunt hogs in Texas is quite an opportunity for anyone who hasn't been blessed enough to live there. We grow wild hogs that live in the swampy areas, the wooded areas, and a lot that find their way to some of the dive bars in deep East Texas. LOL, they actually infiltrate many bars across the state.
About time someone makes a flat burger press. You’d think that would be a no brainer. Nice cook!
Were new at this...so glad our kit we just bought is this new one! Can't wait to try it. Todd your our new best friend : ) And Jesus !!
For great hash browns get a small aluminum pie pan (4 -5 inches) layer chopped unions on the bottom and fill to brim with hash browns. When you're ready to cook them add some oil over the top and flip the whole pan over on the griddle and leave it until golden brown to brown on the griddle side!
I really like the Wide Burger Spatula! It slides right under a Smash Burger, perfectly, and makes flipping that Burger easy-peasy! And the new Press and Sear Tool makes Perfect Smash Burgers, of every size!
Man you know how to make a guy hungry, looks great
I just went to Walmart to pick up the Blackstone Press & Sear Burger Kit. Thanks to Todd mentioning the reinforced Hamburger Spatula, the Kit at the store didn't look right. As I was perusing other Blackstone items, a stocker brought in the new kit Model 5412 @ $24.99. I quickly snatched it up and look forward to making some Smash burgers!
Hi Grant - Yes, that new spatula is insane. You could almost use it as a shove because it's so stout. I'm glad you found one. I bet you couldn't believe it when the stocker strolled out with that new kit. God bless!
Making a breakfast sandwich like that would be perfect for a camping breakfast meal
That sure does look umm umm good!!! Great culinary creation....
Thanks Wayne!
Enjoying these videos. Getting into grilling with these products :)
Thank you!
This video is exciting!!! I'm loving it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the AC/DC plug
I hate the fact I'm watching this at midnight. Beautiful smash burgers.
Midnight snack? Thanks for watching, Alex!!
My mom used mayonnaise all my life for grilled cheese and such👍. I was an adult before I knew you could use butter. Next time try it onion smash style.
I purchased my kit at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and looooovvvveeee the burger press!!!!
Agreed. It is the best! Thanks for watching :)
These tools are Fool proof!! Wow🤩
They also changed the spatula. Notice the spatula does not have the logo cutout. A lot easier to clean without the cutout now.
Great looking Breakfast Smashburger!
Just broke in my 36 inch pro series griddle tonight with homemade "chipotle" wraps. It is single handedly the most enjoyment I've ever gotten out of a grill. If not for finding your youtube I never would have bought it. Thank you!!
I should add I am quite a good cook. I have been grilling propane, smoking, and charcoal cooking for years. This one wins
Hi Michael - That's what it's all about. I too had grills & smokers from a myriad of companies. Within a year of receiving my first Blackstone, I gave away and/or sold all my propane and charcoal grills, some of which where pretty high-end. I kept a few smokers to have something to smoke my wild game sausages, pork shoulders, etc. Nothing against those other forms. Who doesn't like charcoal flavor but I like to have a good time and be done with my cooking in 20 minutes or less. I appreciate you watching & welcome to the griddle family. God bless!!
@@praisehisawesomename amen brother, I just texted my dad and told him he can have my nice big name standard grill. It doesn't hold up! They are older and don't grill in the winter. I live in NH and cooked tonight's meal in 14 degree weather. Thank you for what you and the rest of the blackstone crew do!
Another big big plus....it's literally HALF the cost of these big name brands but way better designed. The grill cover us even better. You guys thought of everything. A buckle to tighten cover not cheap velcro. Zippers for easy on and off
Doing smash burgers tonight. Wish I could lay my hands on that kit. They’re not at the crappy Wallyworld in my town.
A tip for the burger press. I have the blackstone cast bacon press. Leave it sit on the griddle to get hot. Then press the burgers. Doesn’t stick and sears both sides. 😎
I'm surprised you didn't have "Blackstone" bread too. :)
Or Blackstone Cheese or Blackstone Mayo
Very nice job 👍👍
Awesome video Todd.
Thanks, Anthony!!!
Yep, Duke's is the Mayo of griddlin. Like the assortment of tools.
I never use parchment paper I use a shot of blackstone spray on the bottom of my smasher stay there for about 15 sec and then slide it up down side to side and it never sticks. Looks good
That looks outstanding! I need to make this!
Stacy, thank YOU for watching!!!
Love those buns and we have used mayo on the buns for years which makes the buns wonderfully toasted. Great job!
He's great, isn't he?
Flipping the hash browns is where the other large spatula could come in handy, flip with spatula on top and slid it off.
Just picked up this same kit at walmart for $10 the other day when I picked up my 36 inch. I think there was a glitch in their site but they still honered the price. Still a great purchase at full price.
Try mixing a little shredded cheese to those potatoes to hold them together!
Excellent suggestion!
Sprinkle a little bit of granulated garlic on the Mayo on the bun...and you hot yourself a famous Ollie Burger with Swiss cheese from an old school, Lums Restaurant...it was like a Denny's on the Eastcoast back in the day?❤❤❤ Super delicious!
👍👍👍That smash burger looks delicious. I enjoy watching your video's.
Martin's potato buns are awesome as well if not better.
Now they come out with that. Maybe I'll just take my old one and grind it down.
Todd, Todd here.....I've become an instant fan of your vids. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I wish I had your job. My question, as a diabetic, is how do you maintain your health with some of these amazing and not-so-healthy looking recipes? I'm about to buy my first Blackstone and I will try to do as many low carb diabetic recipes as possible. I love food, hence the blood sugar issues lol. Anyway, just curious on how you do it. God Bless from Knoxville, TN.
yeah it looks good, folks if you want to do this in one easy step mix everything together in a single skillet and let it go, chop at end and then serve on the bun or as soft taco filling...I'd add onions to my mix as well.
This is a griddle.....with a smashed patty.....take your skillet talk somewhere else buddy.
hey todd, nice idea with the hasbrowns ill hafta try that.... but an added idea that may work better when flipping, is take another spatula on top flip over easily then slide off onto the griddle. might be helpful, but that sammich looked 🔥🔥🔥🔥 enjoy your channel thanks
Hi Brett - That's a great idea! I appreciate you watching. God bless!
You Todd are brutal, Looks absolutely delicious. iF There was anyway we could invent UA-cam Smell-a Vision with your Blackstone recipes.Im up in Thornton and have a Blackstone , Love it.Cant tell you how much i enjoy your videos. If you ever want to use mayo, pick ya up some Japanese mayo.Once you try it, you will never go back. I put that on everything, especially my burger buns, God Bless,
Great video. Love your boldness brother, PTL!
I could sure use one feeding my 6 grand kidds this spring and summer. There so efficient....
Love'a Todd
Glad I saw this. I picked one up and made sure it was the revised kit!
You’re very welcome and thanks for all the great videos as usual. and again my apologies for last time!
Todd, just read your testimony in a response to a comment. Thank you for having the courage to share. Much respect from this new sub.
😍😍😍😍😍😍 Absolutely tasty looking sandwiches...
I was a short order cook at a truck stop when I was a teen and you used a large griddle but maybe restraunt are different because at each shift we had to clean are grill to make it look new again that grey or new metal look if the grill got black it was pretty busy and that was only the right side of the grill because the left side was at a lower temp for eggs buns etc it always stayed new looking I’m figuring the camercial griddle must be different then black stone I know the grease trap was In the front and it had a front canal where grease or leftover food or mistakes you could scrape it in real fast anyways we always did smash burgers I never new they were that though anyways thanks for the video
Yes!
I like the ridge on the hamburger press on the older style.
Good job👍
Another great job! Never tried this combo in this way! Love it.
God bless all here.
After watching you use this kit I have to get one to.
I can’t believe I just watched this dude make a burger 😂wtf. Looks good thou
I didn't know I wanted one until I saw this.... now the wait for my walmarts in Minnesota to get some of this new stuff in.... but it's still winter.... ugh
Looks great !!!
I'm South Jersey, born and raised. No Jersey diner would smash their burger. If I want a flat piece of meat on a sandwich I'll order a hoagie. But the combo of ingredients Todd uses here look gooood!
Hi Steve!!! LOL, indeed. I caught myself when I said Jersey! I appreciate you watching. God bless!
@@praisehisawesomename love your videos. They were actually the motivation for us to buy the 36" griddle last year.
Nice!
Looks amazing but man my cardiologist would have a heart attack lol.
If you're going to use Mayo to toast your buns, us Chipotle Mayo or Aioli. You'll thank me 👍 I also recommend using it for grilled cheese 🤤
WEEE SAALLLLUUUUUUTTE YOU!!! 🎶🎵
Looks like something I need to try on my 4 burner Blackstone, but the wife doesn't eat pork so it will be Waygu or Ribeye ground beef to make the best burger. Like the idea of the hash browns with the breakfast burger though. Great video.
Like the burger kit.
Once again nice video! And awesome looking breakfast smash burger!
Looks great! I checked my local Walmart stores, they only have the old model on the shelf. I will keep my eye out for this new one- Best Wishes
This is a great channel learn every time I watch
Wow what a burger, definitely will make this recipe😀
Pack in a little more tators in the rings, they will hold up better when time to flip. Now to head over to Walmart.
I am suddenly hungry!
Going to try this for sure.
You make me jealous, Walmart in my area in Canada doesn't have any of this stuff. Can't even get an answer from black stone on where to get stuff here in Ontario Canada. Everything looks so good. I am jealous
Princess auto carries stuff once in awhile. In ontario also.
Tried this tonight my woman loved very tasty!!!
always wash items before using them. even if you don't see the creator do this on film. health and safety is job #1. great to view a pro griddler cook up some tastey food. Thank you.
Very good ima try making me a breakfast sandwich just like that and im surprised you chose the breakfast blend instead of the parmesan ranch but both are excellent on potatoes though
Beautiful. Great Stuff.
Some people just use the large spatula and smash their burgers with that. Seems like it will work. Already have the spatula so i wouldn't get the kit...worth getting a separate burger pattie smasher?
Awesome video thanks bud
Hi Fred - Thank you for watching!
Todd : I work for a large food distributer and we sell gallons of a liquid butter/oil . Amazing taste on bread buns hashbrowns etc etc. Could send you some
Those Walmart buns are good. All I use now!
So I go to Walmart and pickup this kit, I also buy egg rings, but wait what is this awesome thing, it is a serve and store prep cart with sink! Todd can you please do a review on this? This thing looks amazing but I want to see it out of the box and it’s $299 in case anyone is wondering
Hi Greg - If only I had one! :(
So many new products coming out and I don't have that yet.
LOL, a shipment just showed up with another new griddle though. I have 4 or 5 new units in the box that I haven't even opened yet!
@@praisehisawesomename yeah, I even seen the 17” with just the side burner and no fryer for $117. I would of liked this one instead of the removable fryer since I don’t oil fry while camping because it’s hard to get rid of the oil.
Also I wish BS sold the scouring pad with handle by itself.
Looks Great, But I just can't get into sunny side up eggs on a burgers.
I’ve found that Mayo browns bread a little better, but it still tastes like mayo and I’m not a fan. What I do is put a stick of butter into a small metal round pan and put it on the griddle when I start. Then i dip my bread into the melted but so its evenly coated.
Ha! "We salute you!" ✌️🤣🤘
this is what they playin the grill section at my local walmart on a loop
Todd, I couldn't quite see the front knobs. How hot did you have the griddle? Some viewers might find it helpful if you gave the actual griddle surface temperature.
Hi Paul - I cover it in every video. Their is a huge differences in heat when comparing a 4-burner Pro Series vs. a 4 burner reguar 36" Griddle vs. a 22" Griddle vs. a 17" griddle. As a rule of thumb, you want your griddle as hot as humanly possible for a smash burger.
@@praisehisawesomename You cover it in every video? I don't want to be contentious, but not in this video. But I'm okay with your reply-wide open for smashburgers. Thanks for the prompt reply.
@@paulmillen2101 Hi Paul. I get so many questions. I apologize. I also do lots of Facebook livestreams for Blackstone. Last week's had 22,000 people watching. I meant to say that I answer it in every livestream. I got flipped around.
hungry now!
plz mail me one of those burgers .looks very very yummy .thumbs up here.
Thanks Tom. I'm "VIRTUALLY" sending you one!!! :)
New at this.... what are your heat settings????? I love watching all of these as a new guy, but I need to know the heat settings... Thanks!
Nice real nice
Great VIDEO
Mouse
Not hot sauce? That’s a sin haha looks amazing
love your outside area- what part of the country is this- space around you wow! Looks peaceful!
Hi Dean - Thank you for watching!!! I appreciate it. We live in Monument, Colorado at about 7,300 ft. above sea level. The front range of the Rockies is just 10 minutes to the west and Pikes Peak is just down the range from there. Again, thanks for watching!!
Great review, and yes finally a flat press.
Can you tell me the salt, pepper and garlic powder ratio for the shaker?
Thank you.
Awesome videos! I recently purchased this smash burger set from Walmart and my family loved the burgers for my first Blackstone cook.. I definitely want to try this cook because it looks delicious 🤤.
What type of wind guards are you using for your griddle. I have the 36 inch and could definitely use them. Happy Holidays
Got a link to any Walmart that these are actually in stock? Been checking the 4 Walmart’s in my area for the last week and can’t find any! Same thing with the adjustable warming rack
Hi Jim - You have to understand. It's only February. These items were just released 30 days ago. There are 5,000 Walmarts and Walmart's gonna do what Walmart's gonna do. I'm seeing photos of people on FB buying them around the country every day but they might not necessarily hit your stores for a month or two. You might also have to check multiple stores. I'm hearing stores of stores that are selling out quickly. It's a double-edge sword with Blackstone being the fasting-growing company in the outdoor cooking industry, stores are selling out of shipments faster and faster. I saw a guy post a pic a few days ago where he had searched for Cheesesteak Seasoning all winter. He was so excited that he found it so he bought every bottle on the shelf. Yikes! God bless!
