I respect you for trying the newest methods doctor. Not everyone is as optimistic and pioneering as you. American spirit. Respect to you and Dr. Barghouthi
Thank you for having the initiative to do these trials and share your results. I think I have more faith in the FUE application of verteporfin but seeing hair grow in the middle of scar tissue like that did surprise me. Dr.Barghouthi recently shared a case and my hopes are up for increased donor supply
Excellent work. It will be fascinating to see results with the higher doses. With the safety profile so good would be nice to allow your normal clients access to this and see more results.
My English is a little bad and what does terporfin do? Does it regrow the grafts taken, that is, does it heal the roots? Does it regrow the hair taken during hair transplantation or does it only heal the wounds that occur after hair transplantation?
Thanks for the update! I think it'll just take more time to better assess (the 9 month photos with Dr. Barghouthi were where I was like wow this is it), but there's definitely promise.
I was told that it is already possible to use verteporfin for scars and it is only necessary to find a surgeon who will work with it, but I will not find information anywhere that verteporfin is already on the market as a means of healing scars. Please tell me if it is true that surgeons are already working with this drug in order to eliminate scars.I'm from another country and it's hard for me to find information
I have a surgical scar on my arm, tricep, that is very hypertrophic. Would you be willing to do a scar excision of this and treat with vertoporfin to measure results?
it seems to work worse on fut scars. Maybe because you literally cut out the strip of skin (2cm? and not like few mm of wound) and it maybe just regrows follicles that are literally where the incision was or where the wound where you sew the skin would be? I dont know if the body can "realize" that there was chunk of skin missing and not just "cut" with help of verteporfin. I dont know im not a doctor obviously
I think you would need blind judges to measure if treated areas are better . This is very exciting but I think it’s too easy to perceive results you want to see.
Well hairs growing on the scars isn't really an expert opinion. You can see it. A person who doesn't understand scars might say this one is pinker so it's bad. The delayed healing is the entire concept of regeneration. Skin can't regenerate because it closes the wound so quickly out of fear of infection or bleeding out and then reinforces it with tougher skin. As for opinions, you have all the commentators on the video giving their opinion on what they see as well
Have you considered combining Acell with Verteporfin? There is a Doctor having similar regrowth effects from Acell, I think the combination could be potent. You can find their video here: ua-cam.com/video/WjVXYbQXf84/v-deo.html&lc=
I respect you doing these trials, but some of these photos are god awful quality for it being 2023. Please ask patients to use better cameras/cellphones with proper focus or if you're taking them, make sure they're much more clear and higher resolution. This is so important, we can't leave any room for interpretation for the before/after and untreated/treated regions. Thank you
This is just silly and ridiculous to be honest . It is clear from the pictures taken on treated areas have been intentionally covered with some hair to make it look better .
Is this guy a credible hair surgeon? This analysis is so amateurish. "It looks different to me"?. How about using empirical methods to measure hair count per cm2 and give a specific measure of performance. I see almost no visual difference but how about some objective measurement and data.

@satvrn7007 well it is i hoped for it to work but the scar in a fur surgery isnt the problem u barley see it with all hairstyles. The goal was more follicular regeneration which didnt occur even in the slightest. So interpret things how u wanr
@migostrigos5436 these pictures are consistent with Dr. Barghouthis timeliness as well. At month 3-4 his results didn't look amazing either. A couple hairs that gave us "hope" and a pinker skin on the treated areas. His one year updates the 0.4mg treated area looks like no FUE was performed at all. It looks like the hairs grew back

@@Ahmet-ix4wpit regenrates the skin preventing it from scarring and growing hair back allegedly , kinda like when lizards grow back limbs
I heard that they tried different dosages and saw that much does not translate into better results.
There seems to be a sweetspot...
So exciting! Thank you!! Have been following vert since the 4/2021 article about it.
Every dermatologist should experiment verteporfin so that cure for baldness is possible
We respect you sir for your contribution kudos mate
Thank you for the updates. Very interesting. Seems like the hair and healing is going really well in this stage of healing.

Does verteporfin has hypothetical potential to regenerate hair follicles after FUE procedure? If so, do you have plans to test that as well?
Would be interesting to see if the treated scar responds much better to grafts being transported to it than non treated scars
thank you!
You're a goddamn pioneer !!!
Thank you !
Thank you Dr.!
5 month update Dr ! Just a picture nothing time consuming! anything!! u can do it …
Thank you for this work. Patient 3 must improve his camera or his photo skills.
This is great!
I was wondering if you did any trial on old scars. Were they able to heal completely. Especially facial scars.
Thank you!
Hoep u do an updaye every month. This is groundbreaking if true
Even if Verteporfin didn't grow back so many hairs, it seems the effect on scar tissue is very profound.

Was really hoping for more regrowth at 3 months. Maybe it’s still early
Working late tonight Doc, get some rest
have yall did any african american people yet, i looked on the site and didnt find any in the photos before and after section.

whats up with the third dude... give us better pics, get someone to take them.
right? I can't believe how low quality some of these pictures are..

Right, the comb starts a full CM above the scar on the treated area. I don’t get it

Look at Dr. Barghouthis results. After 1.5 years there is very clear regrowth. It takes more than 2 months

Bruh what an unbiased statement. This stuff is nothing this slight improvement is not what is needed in surgery.😂
