Hexbeam homebrew pt1

This is my first attempt at making a Hexbeam. I've used bits I had already, turned some parts on a Lythe then bought the rest from ebay and Toolstation.
If you're thinking of building your own, this short video may help.. it started to get dark towards the end so I had to pack up..
There will be a follow up video when it's up on a mast ..

Hi Barry , yes you did hear me mention a second video. Since this video I hadn't used the HeX, BUT this last month or so I've started to play around with it . I'm currently filming little bits ready to do part 2 .. its been over a year ,but hopefully get the HeX up soon...many thanks , take care Ben...

Thanks ,Yes I've seen some of the contacts you've made .. dont think my QTH will being in as much DX as yours but the Hex should help massively 😊
