can I ask you guys a question..... My hexbeam is going up about 53' on tower really soon.. I am finalizing the wire and spacers. Can I ask just what specific dimensions you guys used for the DE and reflectors, and critical spacer dimensions. A lot of my parts are from DxEngineering and currently using their dimensions... Just wonder what you guys used.... Pretty hard to change after it's up there! looks like your dimensions worked out well! I really do appreciate and thank you for your time helping me out here!!
Did you make this hex beam yourself? I've been lusting after one ever since hearing people talk about them earlier this year. I had thought they just always looked like a goofy omnidirectional or something! haha. Great video, thank you!
No, it is about 15 years old, no numbers or names on it. It did not appear to be a homebrew. We did find however it worked even better when the tower was low. I am told there are just some heights it will not be ideal and 60 foot might work where 40 did not...Time will tell. thanks for watching 73.
Nicely done, you guys rock.
Good O'Le boys, loved the video. Wasn't staged, was funny and informative. Thanks for sharing 73!
