A kickoff to the first fall video of the season!! 🍂 Today I'm sharing all of my best tips, recommendations, and fall styling inspos for petites to look stylish, chic, and cozy all autumn long 🥰 If you're petite and you've been struggling to create chic, cozy outfits you love, then this is the video for you!! I hope you enjoy + see you later this week for in my first fall NYC vloggggg 🧡
Thank you for the reminder at the end that our clothes should fit us not the other way around. I get so bummed out when I try on pieces in my closet that fit too tight or not right & then I don't feel like going out at all. Your styling tips are helping me to transform my closet into my "collection" with what makes me feel good 💜
Absolutely 🧡 Fashion should be fun, not frustrating, so when it is - pass!! But I love love love this feel good prices closet transformation idea - I'm so excited for you and your collection!! Happy styling 🥰
It's such an interesting realization I had lately and I just had to share!! I thought maybe it could help others contextualize why certain things might or might not be working when putting together outfits 🧡 so happy you enjoyed!!
Love, love, love! I'd also add... Take note of the rise measurement on a pant to know what is most comfortable for you. Very helpful when shopping online.
Hi! Just saw your video for the first time, and I love it! My go to for trousers is Abercrombie & Fitch, where you can choose short or extra short, very nice!
Hi!! Great video!! So I am 78, petite, and still stylish. I noticed how my European recommendations you made for petite sizing. Just a note: I won't buy from Mango anymore because of a total size difference in the same size garment. I found their sizing not to be reputable. Other than that --- you totally miss both Talbots, and Chicos for petite, and P-plus jeans and pants. I know they are not a store in your normal demographics, but both have fabulous fit petite jeans that are better priced than the ones you suggested. Also, I know they don't ship overseas, but Quince has great jeans that can be purchased in short lengths, and are great quality. I loved your video --- very well done, and you are a cutie!!! I subscribed, so keep up the good work.
Hi Melody!! Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a lovely, thoughtful comment! 🧡 These are all such wonderful recommendations and I know that those who are scrolling through the comment section for tips and other places to shop, will love what you've shared. Also, I've gotta check out Quince myself; I've heard such great things!! Anywho, thank you for subscribing, and welcome to the family 🥰
I’m so glad I found you! I have the exact figure (petite with E cup, long legs and short torso!!)and your tips and choices are right on point! Thank you so much!
You are the main style person I watch! I am 5’ 0” with a short torso and 32E bust so it’s so easy for me to know what will work based on your recommendations! My sister lives in Brooklyn so I love watching your videos too and seeing places I’ve visited! Love your videos!
Omg I'm so honored!! Thank you for sharing this with me!! 🧡 Are there any specific videos you'd like to see soon?? I have a couple outfits videos coming in the following videos, but if there's anything you've been looking for more specifically, I'd love to incorporate that in :) And that's so neat!! Thank you again for leaving this comment and for watching 🥰
@@JessicaNeistadt I would love your favorite bra recommendations and maybe how to style scarves and jewelry with a large bust. I know you’ve done bra videos in the past and they were so great! So maybe an updated one if you have any new picks! Thank you for responding! 💗
Hi! I’ve been watching your videos for years! I love when you do outfit recommendations! :) I was wondering if you ever heard of or tried short story-they are stitch fix but for petite women. I am curious about your thoughts and want to know if you would recommend them. I wanted to add that Maurice’s for me lately has been really good when it comes to petite sizing 😉. Lastly, I know you recommend the Goldie jeans, Madewell and Everlane jeans that are way above a lot of people’s price points as well as Sezanne. Do you have any recommendations that give you the same look but maybe for less? 😊 Thank you!! ❤
Ah I'm late but I'm saving this video for all your tips. I appreciate how thurough you are providing examples. I'm 27 and still trying to understand my body and style. You recommended tailoring or if the funds are there, getting two sizes of something. How do you go about that for something that was thrifted? Is it common to leave room for allowance in tailored clothing?
Thank you. Styles are so awesome. I do have a question on what is the best style of jeans for me. I hate that I get frustrated at dept stores and just leave. I'm 5'4 with a tummy but no hips So I need something that accommodates my stomach but then it's not too baggy on hips and back
Thank you for watching! 🧡 Jean shopping in store is the WORST sometimes!! But maybe I can help brainstorm up a few styles or spots... Maybe a high rise straight leg jean, with the bottom hem falling just above your ankle, could be a great fit. The fabric should have a good amount of weight to give the jeans more structure and ensure that they won't be too baggy even with wear throughout the day. I think sizing up could make the fit more comfy and accommodating, but the more structured style will help avoid being too baggy despite sizing up. ☺ Off the bat + with a little browsing, a few specific ones that come to mind: - the agolde 90's mid-rise straight leg that I styled in the video mets all the above criteria, but I will say they are fairly pricey - definitely an investment - the everlane utility straight leg pant - the everlane cheeky straight leg jean (will likely have to hemmed) - Abercrombie mid-rise or high-rise straight jean (available in short sizing) - the madewell curvy 90's jean (available in short sizing) I'll make a page on my ShopMy with all of these recommendations and some others to peruse through and I'll link it in the description box for easy finding!! I hope this helps 🥰
Same here! Age has swapped hips for tummy 😅. I keep coming back to Levi’s Wedgie straight. I prefer full Length (28”) but did have the Levi’s store hem an ankle style (slight taper) to 26”, which only looks good with loafers or ballet flats (w/o socks), so only about 4 months of the year here in Seattle 😂. Also, I find synthetic structured dress pants called ‘cropped’ stretch over my tummy and my backside still is defined.
I totally get that - otherwise you have to really double check everything, consider tailoring time and cost, etc. Do you have any favorite petite friendly stores? 😊

I am a huge proponent of buying favorite pieces in multiple sizes. I’ve been doing this for a while. Yes! ♥️💫

I love your style and your mindset plus I love your presentation! You show your style, not just all talks ❤❤❤❤
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing all these great tips 😊

I love your advice for petite girls even though I'm 5'7, because a lot of these things look better to do / think about even if you're not petite.
Ahh yay!! I'm so happy to hear this 🧡 I totally agree!
I’m the same way with high waisted jeans!! And lately I’ve even been breaking out some low rise jeans that I’ve had in my closest since high school 😂
Omg hahaha you never know when you'll need something 😂 love it!! Happy styling 🫶🏼

I buy merino wool ( it’s warm but not bulky) and packable down jackets/ coats/ vests, game changer! Warm and slimming.

Sisley pants and mango pants are great for small people

thank you!! 🥰
Omg at last someone thought of petite. I’m 5.1 and 6st. I find it so hard to get my size in the adult clothes department.
“Girl’s” guide hahah I’m 29 and I feel the same way! I still say girl 😂 will it ever feel comfortable to say woman lol
Hahahaha it just feels so perfect for so many scenarios and so much catchier hahaha 😂
I am almost petit, i am 161,5 cm, and with 2 teenage boys in the home, i am the smallest🫣
Hahahaha that's petite enough! Happy fall, thanks for watching 🍂✨
❤
🥰
I have nearly written off stores that don’t carry pettite or short sizing because most of the time it feels like a waste of time to look
I totally get that - otherwise you have to really double check everything, consider tailoring time and cost, etc. Do you have any favorite petite friendly stores? 😊

how do you find knee high boot to fit a short leg? They dig into the back of my knee when I sit down.
Le Crop jeans you recommended are high waisted so do not work if you are short waisted!
Great note! I suppose it could be more of a stylistic or comfort preference for someone 🙂
Im 5'5,is that short?
What kinda boots for a petite girl i
Pleated pants aren't flattering if one has a belly
