- Testing out the Meguiars “Car Wash Snow Cannon” while washing the 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX. The foam cannon was filled with 900ml of water, and 100ml of Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash, and was hooked up to the Karcher K4 pressure-washer.

The liquid goes fairly fast but I managed to do a full cover before it ran out so Im pretty happy with it.

All of these product companies are just buying cheap tools from China, slapping their logo on it, and then reselling it. Might as well buy it from Alibaba yourself. Especially common in the microfiber towel industry and polishers. Although, I don't discredit the quality of the cannon. Good video!
Thanks for the nice comment Matt! We’ve got it on our list to purchase a few different foam cannons (some from AliExpress) to compare against some of the name brands who are charging a premium price.
Well said..I bought the foam cannon from Ali Express for use on a Karcher equipment for $9, so when I see these companies flog the same foam cannon for over $50 you know consumers have been taken for a ride.
Love mine....just going to use a few other snow foams with my lance to see if there is any better products out there.

funny no adjustment on the end of the lance was done, which allows how wide the spread will be, also best to use warm water when you put the mix in the bottle, just to help with mixing and sake it up well before using it otherwise your not going to get thick foam IMHO, still great stuff, not bad for around $80.00 AU dollars when on special plus to get the gold class car wash with it and different hi pressure unit attachments as well in brass, for karcher and gerni units. :) also has your normal air pressure system attachment?

Have you tried changing the meguiars foam gun orifice to a 1.1mm? Wanting to know the difference compared to straight out the box set up.
No we haven’t but this is something that we may attempt down the track. We’ll be sure to document it on video if/when we change it out.
Is it compitable with bosch aqt washer series.
The kit doesn't come with a Bosch adaptor. However, on the Meguairs website it says that an adaptor for the new Bosch AQT is available to buy separately.
If this doesn't work, what I did for my pressure washer was to go onto Aliexpress and find the correct adaptor that will fit your gun.
Do you not need too rub the foam in with a cloth/mitt or anything or do you just leave it?

We were just showing the foaming application in this video. But yes after applying the foam use a wash mitt and a bucket of carwash to remove the dirt. Follow this with rinsing the car off.

We typically use a dilution of 150 mL of soap to 850 mL of water. You might have to play around with the ratios to get the dilution to your liking. Make sure the pressure of the water coming out of your pressure washer is not too high as it can cause damage to the vehicle.
I`m guessing this is no good unless you have a pressure washer. Is there an alternative you`d recommend?

Yes you do need a pressure washer. I haven’t had any experience with any other foam applicators but the IK Foamer Pro 2+ could be the next best option.

The garden hose to the pressure washer is 15 metres. I don't know how long the pressure washer hose is.
