Dude!!! Snow foam is only a prewash, use it to remove as much dirt as possible, then use the two bucket method and then dry. The foam won't remove all the dirt, and when doing the 2 bucket method rinse your mitt frequently
You would like ChrisFix, (if you haven't heard of him), he's a UA-camr, too. He does what you explained. & I do it, too. That guy's very knowledgeable.
Hi, I enjoyed your video. One thing I have always done for thirty years or so is I never touch my cars with a wash mitt without a sheet of water running over the paint, under the mitt, from a garden hose in my other hand. This lubricates and washes away any contaminates as I gently wash. I also pressure wash and foam cannon, so it all works very well together. But, the sheet of water running over the paint is key.
I've been using this method for more than 10 years , however this method only works if you have a little layer of dust and if you dont use a micro fiber the dust accumulates over time and needs a wipe , it works perfectly if you wipe it between every 4 touchless washes
If the brake dust is black then the pads are probably not ceramic, at least not full ceramic. Black brake dust usually comes from semi-metallic/organic brake pads.
This is not an Adam’s sponsored video but let me show you what I use to wash my car. Adams polish Adams shampoo Adams blower Adams bucket Adams bucket guard Adams sunlight Adams wind Adams water Adams electricity for power wash! For the blower I would just use my garden leaf blower
Don't forget about the Adams T-Shirt, Adams Oil, Adams Air Freshner, Adams wife and kids, Adams bicycle Adams apple Adams sunglasses Adams Tinting I'm guessing he is the VP of marketing for a certain company.
Cool video. This process may work well on a car that's ceramic coated and washed weekly. For dirtier cars with only regular wax, the two bucket method will probably work better.
As far as drying how about a battery powered leaf blower ? great vid I am an avid fan of Adam’s products I just bought a black car and am waiting for the box O cleaning products I am also turning off my Dish TV to save for more cleaning products ! Plus who has time to watch
@vincentmcclain9307 A leaf blower or air compressor can work well to remove excess water before towel drying, but you'd want to do it in a clean environment or you risk kicking up dust and dirt back onto the car. A professionally applied ceramic coat is a complete game-changer for washing and drying cars. I highly recommend it if you plan on keeping the car more than a few years.
I'm a newbie to this. I've hand washed my Audis for years and always ended up with some swirls really ticked me off This is a great video and I will give it a try Thank you !
When washing your car try to go back and forth and never in cirlcles and make sure your mit is clean from dirt and grime. If your still washing by hand use the 2 bucket method and it works great ! You can UA-cam it if you don’t know what that is. Also do the same when drying and use a nice drying towel !
Yep, been using a leaf blower to dry my motorcycle for years, now I have an Ego battery powered blower, works so awesome I use it to dry my cars too. Compressed air is not good because it will run your compressor way too much (even for a motorcycle), the pressure is too high and too highly concentrated to be efficient, AND you run the risk of blowing tank water and rust on your car if you don’t have an expensive filter/drying system on your air tank. That wash mitt bucket grate insert is a great thing too.
Unless you're using the leaf blower in a clean room, or you can filter the air going into the blower, or out of it not a good idea. It becomes a sand blaster. Sit it on the ground...use it in a dusty environment...it sucks all that in and hurls it at your car at however fast your leaf blower blows. If you want to use wind to dry your car than get a wet/dry vac dedicated to only be used for this, get the kind with a filter. Attach the hose to the exhaust. At least you have filtered air now
@@mrkkg27 that's why you clean your leaf blower. I've been doing this for years and it's way faster. Just stay off the vehicle about 2-3 foot and let it do its work.
For the effort saved, doesn’t seem like a big deal to pre spray the front of the car with bug remover and use a soft mit to get it off before you foam cannon it.
If this car was actually dirty, (talking 1500 miles of dirt from actual driving) there is no way to get it clean without touching it with a soft brush. Everyone knows there will be a thin film of dust that just won't come off if you just use a washer and soap. I wish I was wrong.
HunterXray I drive across the country all the time. After a few hours in Missouri, Indiana, and southern Illinois, the car has a bug bra. Takes 30 minutes of scrubbing to get that nasty stuff off.
That's why I'm getting ceramic coating and a clear bra for every new car I get from now on, too much time spent fucking around trying to keep a black car as nice as possible. If I can at least halve the amount of swirls and scratches I get from a deep wash you can call me a happy man.
Not sure if you have figured this out since, but for anyone suffering from brake dust it’s worth checking out Akebono brake pads. They’re the best brake pads I’ve found so far when it comes to keeping brake dust low. Definitely has my recommendation
@@sxpreme-1k- I used a new microfiber towel (specially made to dry cars) on my black 2022 Tesla and it has fine scratches. It’s best to clean and dry black cars in a clean room with HEPA surgical filters LOL.
Dear sir, enjoyed your video on how to wash your car without touching it. You are the first person I have found with this type of video. Thank you so much. Don Powell, Tyler, Texas, USA
It is, but I found it quite impressive. If your car is actually dirty though then you'll need to touch the paint to clean it unless you use a pressure washer so powerful it just strips the paint right off.
I used my Dewalt cordless to dry my car after washing and it dry my car really good just like at the car wash and I don't have to spend more money to buy that air dry. It good to see you did that way good job.
If you really loved your car like this guy does buy an Adams blower. If you like the same results but love your money, go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a decent leaf blower. You can use the leaf blower for lease too...go figure. Bet the Adams blower can’’t do that.
Don't need no Mr. Miyagi telling me how to wax on wax off because I have a different measure of when it is time to wash my car, takes zero thought on my part. I wait for someone to write on the back window "WASH ME!" If no one writes that within 12 months, I take my ride (a cool AMC Pacer, thank you) to one of those gas station auto-washes, the kind with those two huge nylon brushes that beat the snot out of car dirt. One time a brush ripped off a 12" X 12" patch of paint off the driver-side door, a small price to pay for a clean car. Bonus Tip: I bought a can of almost-matching brown (shit colored) spray paint at the hardware store, five minutes later I was done fixing that hole in the paint and rolling in the nines to pick up me date. That's how I roll when it comes to car washing.

I have never herd of "Adams" products. (I'm from the UK) And no its not even close to being as popular as Autoglym, Turtlewax, Muckoff or 3M. and Jesus is it overpriced. who in there right mind pays $30.99 for a bucket off of Amazon, when you can get 2 of them buckets for that price and a bottle of car shampoo. Also if he has a discount code and isn't part of an affiliate program i would be surprised. Especially when the links are direct to the brands site instead of sites like Amazon where more people are likely to buy from. Victorium Gaming was not being an idiot, he was just stating the obvious because if the youtuber was to admit that he was being sponsored to make the video, he would have to upload it as a sponsored video which means less or no ad revenue on the video. You obviously know allot about sponsorship and ad revenue and that's why you post your butt hurt comments.
im not the one calling someone an idiot. my comment was mainly about how i have never seen the brand that your calling popular. and how over-priced their products are.
I never believed in washing a Car without touching it till I watch your video. I got everything you listed of Amazon plus the big Adam's Air Cannon Car Dryer Blower for my truck because it’s worth it. Thanks for the great video I appreciate it.
Sandor Alex Fazekas that's a bad idea . If gas blower all the smoke particles mix with the the water particles and acid will build up , this will not be noticeable at first but can damage the paint in the long run , using a proper air blower with filter is best since dust particles are a little less .

I am very particular with washing them and not putting "swirl marks" in the paint, My mums car has paint protector on it which was the best thing for getting on the car because the car is 6 years old and the paint looks like it's just rolled off the show room, yet it's 6 years old.
How to clean a clean car. LOL. It is just like watching shaving ads on TV which show a very close shaved guy pretending he is shaving with gillette foam.
Super nice car my friend. For all the negative comments, half of the enjoyment of having a car this nice is keeping it spotless (until it feels like a second full time job, lol) Yes, a black car finish is a pain in the ass and I can’t tell you how many full corrections I have had to do on black because the owner simply did not know that you have to hand wash AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE EVERY TIME YOU WASH IT or you WILL have swirl marks. Every minute dust particle is a swirl scratch and if you keep dunking your microfiber mit back into the same bucket, you could be collecting more as you go along washing. So, a thick heavy layer of snow foam that is allowed to slide down the finish of the car dragging off all the fine particulate and thoroughly rinsed off and followed up with another quick layer of foam to lubricate and gently agitate the stuck on road film with a clean bucket of soapy water and a fine microfiber mit or microfiber soft sponge along with a power rinse is the best way to way to keep a swirl free finish between protective coatings. The new super tight ceramic coating technology out there is just incredible for that protection. But the part that many don’t get about the whole DIY detailing aspect is that people do really enjoy feeling like they are getting the best “science” and methods to love on their car. I personally developed an entire line of products that I called Britemax (which is actually still in operation and how it was built and sold is a whole story on its own) that grew out of my originally designed 2 metal polishes I called Metal Master Easy Cut and Final Shine (still have a couple of the original bottles I made up with clear shipping labels from Staples as packaging, lol) before all these different companies came around doing a lot of repackaging of detail products and putting their own name on them. What I discovered was that, aside from the obvious which was proper application yielding similar results with products very close in performance, people were far more apt to have enthusiasm and an allegiance to your products if you educated them with infinite detail beyond the common sense logic used to produce the design. A fancy air gun with the company logo stamped on it to some folks “feels” more effective than what I use most commonly which is a nice big air compressor with a water separator and an air filter that blows a lot more air and dries the car in half the time (or my back pack leaf blower on the pickup, lol). So like I said, if it feels better even though there are more effective and efficient methods (that air compressor serves MANY more functions than drying off the car, blowing off all the grass and weed clippings off my clothes and out of my hair, the little that’s left, after the yard work. Every home in my opinion should have an air compressor), God bless. Just don’t be surprised when smartasse’s that can’t help themselves in tearing you down show up in the comments poking fun instead of offering productive alternatives or advice. Love the car my man and yes, Adams makes some excellent highly effective products. I remember when that guy first got started and it’s great to see him still at it and developing an extensive line of solutions!! We all started seeking a better way and sharing our discoveries with others to make it our living!! Unfortunately some of us took on some questionable partners that resulted in a crap deal in the end. But I still love to see the passion folks have for their prized toys!! (Boy did I go off an a rant or what, LOL!?!?) 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Seems like a good method and 10 bucks a pop is not bad. Maybe I'll try it when I get a new car. My 12 yr old jeep said f No! I like being dirty on the outside.
Julie Robinson mine do, but then I wonder why they cut their grass every two days at 7 in the morning. Everyone does something that's a waste of time, some are just afraid or blind to facts.
I have that same Adams handheld blaster. I think that the other floor model they have is way to pricy. I use to work at a car detail center and we would use a leaf blower that works better than anything and it’s not gonna cost you no more than $150 and it’s super powerful and easy to dry off the entire car
I have a floor model air blower with the same nozzle at the end. Its really hard to get all the water off. I found that if I carefully wipe the top with a good microfibre including all windows and then use the blower to get off any water residue I can do a lot better job on the paint. This is where I devote my time. This saves a lot of time. Maybe 15 minutes and a decent amount of effort. As I said its almost impossible to get all the water off with the blower. It needs some assistance and I found that what I did was a big help.
Pretty good, your almost there with the method. Touch less won't get rid of all the dirt unfortunately, it'll still need a hand wash from time to time. Also washing the car down before snow foaming in more likely to cause marks and heavy dirt particles shoot across the surface...foam it first and let it break down and lift the dirt off the surface. And your better off with say a leaf blower, it's got a much larger area of effect
" . . . . if the car is really, really dirty . . . like you haven't washed it in two weeks . . ." (slinking away in embarrassment and disgrace now . . . .
Sweet benz. I have a custom clk430 myself. Food for thought....i use this method ....if someone doesn't want to buy that blower you used you can use a leaf blower too which has a good air force to disperse the water off the car and from the rims and tire area. Again food for thought 🤗
I’ve had two black cars and have never had a problem with microfiber. I use turtle wax after it’s a little wet and use that as well as dry it with the microfiber. Literally no swirls or anything. And extremely shiny
This is the reason why I bought a silver car. The finish is much more forgiving. Not my favorite color, but it is easier to maintain. It looks clean even when it's dirty.
Is the foam strong enough that you don't need to go over it again when a sponge or something? As for drying, can a leaf blower be more effective as it is bigger?

BTW ,I did a test and wiped down may car every morning for about 3 mins before heading into work and Bam no need to wash my car for over 6 weeks and only because i let it go 3 days in a row ! Best part is it stays clean everyday and if you wash your car once a week takes about 25 mins same time spent and you will love the results ,i recommend,The Last Coat ! Enjoy what you have everyday !
We recommend paint protection film or Feynlab Self Heal Plus for dark colored cars. That way you can wash them with a wash mitt and not mar the finish. By not touching the car, you risk leaving contamination behind, allowing it to bond to the paintwork.
Yeah that's not what it means...the lubricants, decontaminants, etc in the soap are just like the mineral deposits in tap water. They'll be left on the paint when the water evaporates.
Real world experience! I've owned a 2008 black Honda CRV for 15 yrs until recently; and never once did I ever bothered to wash it; rainy days was my free car wash!! yes, on few occasions I had it auto car washed at a local car wash joint! and guess what!? my old reliable 15 yr old Honda never had an issue with the paint finish. It did have your typical superficial scratches from city usage over time; but the original glossy finish and paint was never affected. The so call swirls and scratches on a car does not affect the overall paint finish and look of it, in my personal experience. Now that I think about it, washing your car on a regular basis will definitely, in time deteriorate the life and finish of any car paint. The chemicals used to clean it and give it a shine, all it does is strip away the car's original finish and paint in due time. Yes, an occasional wash is necessary, but in my experience the frequent use of chemicals is not!!
Neat! Was fun to watch. I don't even have a car but I love knowing how to clean something properly. It might come in handy sometime in the future if a friend or acquaintance needs help with this. Thanks for showing the tools you've used. I'll be sure to remember them. I've always wondered if there was a way to keep crud off the sponge while soaking it in the bucket, so the grid at the bottom was interesting to see. Thanks!
Use distilled water for your final rinse, using a separate battery powered pressure washer hooked up to a 5 gallon drum, and let the sun dry your car minus water spots!
you have links for all things used except the one thing i'm searching for... pressure washer... what pressure washer is that your are using and how much
I just got a new to me car and this video is helpful. One question, do you think the air dryer mentioned (master blaster) is adequate for a full sized suv? It’s a white suv so swirl marks less likely to stand out, but still want to avoid them.
Just get any air dryer, there are some for dogs. Air velocity and CFM airflow is key. I guess you can use your leafblower or something similar as well. Much cheaper.

BEST $100 tool I've bought. Drying is my least favorite part of car washing and this makes it easy. 👌🏻
If the brake dust is black then the pads are probably not ceramic, at least not full ceramic. Black brake dust usually comes from semi-metallic/organic brake pads.
I was giving the video a chance until he said his horrible brake dust was from ceramic pads.
Ceramic pads don't make a lot of dust he has cheap pads on.
Had to buy cheap pads cause all the other money was spent on Adams products.
Use a leaf blower
Sushi or compressed air
i deliver sushi
Sushi I use a leaf blower for everything including snow works like a beast, great for cleaning the deck as well
Sartaj Aujla a leaf blower is good for dry snow though, that wet heavy snow won't blow for crap
Don't use a leaf blower. This will suck up dirt and sandblast your car.

Instead of using a little dryer for your car, you should use a leaf blower, covers more of an area on the car before it drys in the sun
The best idea ever
or an air hose?
Would have been nice to see a close up of the hood and the front bumper after you were done.
he didn't as there would still be some bug crap on it.
At 7:19 you can still see some bug craps on it...
Obviously it won't be super clean without touching the car
For the effort saved, doesn’t seem like a big deal to pre spray the front of the car with bug remover and use a soft mit to get it off before you foam cannon it.
That is what I do on my freaking Jetta lol
Just got a nice blacked out Audi and this guy walks me through my exact situation. Thanks my guy!
I didn’t know that
He shows the bug splat on the front grill, it isn't like a trip through the midwest, but it is some guts and grime.
That's why I'm getting ceramic coating and a clear bra for every new car I get from now on, too much time spent fucking around trying to keep a black car as nice as possible. If I can at least halve the amount of swirls and scratches I get from a deep wash you can call me a happy man.
Yeah, he basically said that toward the end of the video. But good observation I guess...
“If your car is really really dirty, like if you haven’t washed it in.... TWO WEEKS or so.” 😂😂
Two weeks IS a long time in my book...
To dry my car I speed up and down the road a few times, the water flies right off.
I do this but still dry off the leftover with a microfiber towel
🤦♂️
I do the same. Best way to set it off.
Here in India the roads are very dusty , If you do that, all the dirt will stick to the water left behind and make it even more worse!
Kita Postoak sounds bout right😂
Not sure if you have figured this out since, but for anyone suffering from brake dust it’s worth checking out Akebono brake pads. They’re the best brake pads I’ve found so far when it comes to keeping brake dust low. Definitely has my recommendation
Does brake dust from the Akebono cause squeaky noises?
Ceramic pads are supposed to leave the least amount of dust. Semi-metallic pads leave the most dust.
I was going to write this. Lol
1. Wash in the evenings after sundown
2. Leaf blower to get the heavy water off
3. Microfiber cloths for finish drying
No microfiber towel will scratch the car😂
@@edubb2491 you have to make sure no debris is on it
@@sxpreme-1k- I used a new microfiber towel (specially made to dry cars) on my black 2022 Tesla and it has fine scratches. It’s best to clean and dry black cars in a clean room with HEPA surgical filters LOL.

Dear sir, enjoyed your video on how to wash your car without touching it. You are the first person I have found with this type of video. Thank you so much. Don Powell, Tyler, Texas, USA
Bro I feel like this is a commercial for Adam's Polishes
It is, but I found it quite impressive. If your car is actually dirty though then you'll need to touch the paint to clean it unless you use a pressure washer so powerful it just strips the paint right off.
Someone's getting a Super Blaster in the mail ... very clever man.

My favorite part of the video (paraphrasing) "Now if you haven't washed your car in like a really long time, like two weeks..." LOL
God forbid 15 days...
My car wasn’t washed for two years
Right..every week..hell no..2 times a month!!
He got 6.6 million views off this simple vid! Wtf
I mean, my car is rusted all over and I have never washed it. Imagine if I did!!
I used my Dewalt cordless to dry my car after washing and it dry my car really good just like at the car wash and I don't have to spend more money to buy that air dry. It good to see you did that way good job.
Now I know how to wash a clean car
Funny as
He wouldn't wash a car like this if it was really grimey.
Nick Sestito when he said the water was black from brake dust 😂😂😂
No shit let it sit for a year then wash it!
my first rule , is never wash a car in the sun ..
Extr eme if you use pH neutral soap you can
Yep, absolutely 1st rule. Forget about washing the car in the sun, period.

It doesn't matter. It cannot soak in because it's dried before it can react.
I learnt that the other day lmao
Naw. Never, no matter what don’t ever wash a car in the sun. Especially a black one.
I use my leaf blower, takes like a minute to blow dry my car.
Tim Lamborn I was just wondering the same thing....why not just use a leaf blower?!?
Bro I do the same thing
If you really loved your car like this guy does buy an Adams blower. If you like the same results but love your money, go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a decent leaf blower. You can use the leaf blower for lease too...go figure. Bet the Adams blower can’’t do that.
After watching the video, I was thinking the same thing, leaf blower would do the job
You are smart and That's how I did too after I wash my car I used my Dewalt cordless to dry it and also it works good to dry water off the rims too.
this is great for people that have their own property, with a driveway, garage or car port and would invest in all these car cleaning equipment..
Its differenbt when. You care abnoyut. Youyr car lol

A leaf blower (Adam's of course) and a negative pressure system like a “clean room” at NASA.
No problem.
Also my Model S (Tesla of course) came with a negative pressure system. lol.
"This isn't a sponsored video" yet only uses one brand (Adams) and in the description he has a discount code. Totally not sponsored at all😂
Adams is one of, if not THE, most popular brands for detailing cars. So it's not a fucking shocker that he's using them. Don't be an idiot.
Haz was one of us sounds butthurt, but it ain't me.
im not the one calling someone an idiot. my comment was mainly about how i have never seen the brand that your calling popular. and how over-priced their products are.
And he is getting paid by UA-cam...
I never believed in washing a Car without touching it till I watch your video. I got everything you listed of Amazon plus the big Adam's Air Cannon Car Dryer Blower for my truck because it’s worth it. Thanks for the great video I appreciate it.

I use a leaf blower to dry my car. It takes only 2 minutes max.
Sandor Alex Fazekas that's a bad idea . If gas blower all the smoke particles mix with the the water particles and acid will build up , this will not be noticeable at first but can damage the paint in the long run , using a proper air blower with filter is best since dust particles are a little less .
PAPASNARF!!! Lol a leaf blower just pushes air through a fan it doesn't mix with any gas.
is it adam's leaf blower?
PAPASNARF!!! It's electric so no worries and it works better then a overpriced car dryer like Adams.

I don't own a car as I am only 14 but when I do wash my mums and dads cars. I am very particular with washing them and not putting "swirl marks" in the paint, My mums car has paint protector on it which was the best thing for getting on the car because the car is 6 years old and the paint looks like it's just rolled off the show room, yet it's 6 years old.
Luke Hall Good habits for when you get your own car!
Luke Hall That's good that you wash your parents cars. It will prepare you for your own car in the future :)
At 6 years old any car will look showroom new if you take basic care of it and dont drive it in the city every day. That's not a lot of time at all.
Thank you for not talking too much and not adding music, just let us hear the natural sound of the environment around u and the pressure washer

(Boy did I go off an a rant or what, LOL!?!?)
👍🏻😎👍🏻
Seems like a good method and 10 bucks a pop is not bad. Maybe I'll try it when I get a new car. My 12 yr old jeep said f No! I like being dirty on the outside.

Use a leaf blower to dry. Just clean out impeller first so no little pieces come flying out. It’s really powerful
I have that same Adams handheld blaster. I think that the other floor model they have is way to pricy. I use to work at a car detail center and we would use a leaf blower that works better than anything and it’s not gonna cost you no more than $150 and it’s super powerful and easy to dry off the entire car
Smart

Yep, everytime the water runs over the sensor and you have keyless and the key is near it they open or close. Mine does the same!
Brady Evans maybe he hit the door key sensor using the foam cannon and the fob maybe in his pocket so the car detect the key

Same here... I can not use tap water anymore... No water spots, no problems,, Excellent results
shit is crazy expensice y0
We recommend paint protection film or Feynlab Self Heal Plus for dark colored cars. That way you can wash them with a wash mitt and not mar the finish. By not touching the car, you risk leaving contamination behind, allowing it to bond to the paintwork.
I never heard of a ph neutral soap being allowed to sit on your car in direct sun
Adams is the best car soap ever ! Use it for over 11 years now , smells great too !
Neat! Was fun to watch. I don't even have a car but I love knowing how to clean something properly. It might come in handy sometime in the future if a friend or acquaintance needs help with this. I've always wondered if there was a way to keep crud off the sponge while soaking it in the bucket, so the grid at the bottom was interesting to see. Thanks!
Do you have a car yet?

I just got a new to me car and this video is helpful. One question, do you think the air dryer mentioned (master blaster) is adequate for a full sized suv? It’s a white suv so swirl marks less likely to stand out, but still want to avoid them.
Just get any air dryer, there are some for dogs. Air velocity and CFM airflow is key. I guess you can use your leafblower or something similar as well. Much cheaper.
