I enjoyed the vs. style comparison of the two keyboards. It really gave more frame of reference for both boards just to see and hear them side by side like this. You should definitely do more. Also, now you're contractually obliged to do the keychron board just to round things out.
i really appreciate you giving more attention to low profile keyboards. thought you had forgotten about these. i'm most curious about what they are going to bring out as the rumored Lowfree Flow v2. hopefully they will at least allow remapping of keys. i have the NuPhy Air75 v1
I have a Nuphy Air96 for almost 1 year and absolutely love it. Got it for work, cause I type a lot. It was my first mechanical keyboard and I would not see myself typing on anything else. The typing experience is great and I would recommend it to all the people who are going from typing on a laptop keyboard to a mechanical one. It takes a bit to get yourself used to the travel distance, but it's worth it.
Hipyo, I'm not British so I'm glad this keyboard doesn't have a knob...Please make a video comparing the two keyboards after you mod Nuphy Air 75 V2 w/ PE foam/tape and lube switches/stabalizers! It sounds like THOCK heaven!!
I have the NuPhy Air 75 and have done for about a year. I guess mine is an earlier model--it doesn't have flippy feet, but detachable ones that snap nicely to the bottom with magnets. They also conveniently become lost forever within days. It's my "couch keyboard" because it can give me reliable 2.4 GHz connectivity to my gaming/media PC, or bluetooth for an iPad. Also quite nice for travel. It also did not come with any waifu stickers. What the hell, NuPhy. One feature you didn't mention is the hardware mac/windows switch, which I have found very handy. Don't know if the Lofree does that or not.
Low profiles are the way to go. In addition to that. I recently began the speed typing hobby and it's insane how low profiles can help you become a better typist
@@Megaman.ExE7 my point was just that these mechanical keyboards are mostly tailored for gamers and purists. Not really speed typing. The magic keyboard is not perfect either, but it’s pretty fast to type on.
I got Keychron K5 Pro few weeks ago, with additional layer or sound dampener and lubed gateron brown lp v2, and it's been great. The sound is somewhat between Nuphy and Lofree (quieter than Nuphy, but more clacky than Lofree), but it feels _exactly_ how I wanted it to feel (I love old notebook switch feel, and was using Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard for years even though it had awful stickiness issues).
Hipyo...you did this to me. I bought 3 different keyboards from Epomaker and landed on the Feker Galaxy 80. It's so damn good. The typing experience is just...beautiful.
Hey Hipyo! I enjoy this kind of content where you compare and contrast two competitor keyboards. I get some amount of decision paralysis when I'm faced with a lot of similar options, so having this kind of content is perfect!
Had the Lofree Flow for the last week and god it's just magical. Like, yeah I wish it supported 2.4GHz dongle, and I'd love a 60% version, but man it's so gorgeous and so satisfying to type on
Great video Hipyo! Bought a Nuphy Air96 v2 w Wisteria switches. I’m not after Thock so can’t speak to that but the 96 size on low profile is a real upgrade over full sized keyboard. It’s a real joy to type on and I look forward to sitting down and cranking out words (not for gaming) and using it for spreadsheets etc. The only downside is there’s a learning curve for feeling the number keys and special keys bc they’re all jammed together for the 96 format, so it’s easy to mistype for a while until getting used to it. Definitely recommend.
I bought a Lofree Flow after seeing your original video on it and I have to say, its fantastic; got it on sale for around 120 USD and I've been really impressed by it. I thought battery life might be an issue with it because the manufacturer seemed to really stress this 40hr value, however, I've been using it every day at work and at home as my primary keyboard and in the last month + I've not charged it once, or turned it off. I just leave it on in BT mode all the time and toggle it between my work laptop and rig at home. I have no idea how much juice it has left but I wouldn't be surprised if it just kept ticking for months more. I've even been playing games like Helldivers 2 on it and thought it would be a bad experience being a BT board but its actually completely fine and I haven't bothered to reconnect my Logitech G815 Tactile
I'm looking for a low profile keyboard to help with my wrist pain but I'm worried the low key travel distance can be bad for gaming. Can you tell me more about your gaming experience with it and which switch would you recommend (Phantom or Ghost) for gaming?
@@billythecat for gaming, presumably you want linears to have the most responsive experience (although in reality it wont matter much) Low profile probably wont help with RSI, you may want to look at split ergonomic keyboards
I am interested in trying Lofree, but is it true that Lofree Flow didn't have key customization? Because I usually use 75% and already used to using numpad with fn + bnm row.
Have you ever thought of lubing the switches that come in the box for these low-profile keyboards? Would that improve the feel and sound of the switches?
My very first mechanical was a Cooler Master SK630 and I LOVED it for years. I had exclusively played on laptops for 18 years and I always fat fingered and messed up 80% of my keystrokes on standard sized keyboards. That was the first board I could comfortably type that was somewhere between a chicklet board and a standard mechanical. after living on that for 5 years and wanting to upgrade to my first custom I jumped onto a full layput Keychron and I've been using that since but I never could have transitioned my muscle memory to a normal keyboard without an in-between switch depth option. These are very much a necissary thing from an accessibility stand point for someone like me.
Hi Hipyo, Nuphy keyboards have rgb leds under the switches, not only in those little leds. You can personalised it too. I have a Nuphy Air60 and it is a gamechanging when you have 2 pcs in your desk, so maybe you can work on one and then having the other showing you training or whatever. It is cool too to carry it to the office to have your own keyboard only touched by you. It has no weight at all, and it matched my gaming set up with pink leds when keypressing :D
I've had the Nuphy for about two months, and have recently tried the Lofree. The Nuphy I really like, but longer term it has some issues. I move my keyboard around a lot, and those tiny little rubber feet tend to rip off easily, so I replaced them with some larger generic feet. I also experience lost keystrokes with mine in wireless mode. Now, to explain, I have tried the included dongle and Bluetooth. I've tried a really expensive powered hub, a high quality cable, and moving my PC to within a foot of my keyboard and plugging it directly into the motherboard... and using any wireless connection method it occasionally drops keystrokes. Wired it works flawlessly. I like the keyboard so much I've decided to keep it and use it plugged in, but in my experience their wireless implementation stinks. I accidentally ordered the wrong Lofree keyboard (I wanted the black one, ordered the white/linear one by accident). I tried it out, and while I REALLY like how it sounds, the white colorway simply doesn't work in my office. I have the correct one on the way, hopefully the tactile switches won't detract from the experience.
@@BEDHEAD947 Honestly I'm a gamer.. so Bluetooth doesn't provide a fast enough polling rate for me. I've been using it with a cord. The main reason the Nuphy was such a disappointment was because I was hoping the 2.4 ghz dongle would let me leave the cord behind.
I travel around a bit and often find myself in conferences rooms on a laptop with a room full of people. Because I’m a diva and can no longer type on a laptop, I decided to get a NuPhy Air75 V2. This was after doing zero research, so I really appreciate this video. I think the look and feel is fine. It was a bit louder than I would like when I’m sitting in a group (I already draw a lot of attention with my laptop stand and external keyboard (geez, who is this guy?)), so a bit of a quieter option would be nice. I’m excited to see that they’re expanding the low profile switch options though and I’m going to try to get my hands on some of those kailhs! Thanks for the rad video, Hipyo!
I just got my Lofree about 2 weeks ago and I’m glad to report they fixed the “shine through” Keycaps and all the other issues people were having like the weird dent in the back and gaps and whatnot. I have had 0 problems with it!
I learned most of what I know about keyboards from your videos. I watch others too, but yours are the ones that made me comfortable ripping a board apart, lubing it, etc. I know where your stand on the Keychron lineup. I run the K3 Pro (the Max didn't exist when I purchased, I'll grab one eventually). I love I mean love low profile keyboards. I actually run 3 types of switches, red, brown and blue depending on the key usage. I use blue for most of the perimeter so I know when I'm on the border. I use reds on all commonly used keys and browns on the ones like symbols that are not border keys or regular use keys. I'm in the 100 wpm club. Not the fastest out there, but the type that gets comments when I type. Love your videos. But I 'am' your nemesis. Lol. I'm a Keychron fan.
I'm still waiting for a good low profile keyboard with an ISO layout. I haven't been able to find a single one (apart from the few Keychron ones that still don't include the 2.4 Ghz wireless option). Can't wait for literally any manufacturer to release one to finally be able to try them out.
I have the Nuphy Air 96, and it is my second mechanical keyboard (first being a super cheap red dragon). I went with Nuphy because I needed that numpad and for it to travel with me in my bag. I would happily buy another Nuphy board.
I have a Keychron K3, which is basically the same as you're reviewing in this vid. I had to replace the Keychron Red switches with Keychron Black, and then with Mint (which is like brown, but the tactile bump is wayyy higher and doesn't feel mushy because of it), because I rest my fingers on my keyboard and I kept pressing keys by accident. I also replaced the function keys and monifier keys (ctrl/alt/shift) switches with Keychron Orange, so I can hear a *click* whenever I press those - very nice :D
I bought the Lofree based primarily on this video but it was a mistake. It does sound better than the Nuphy but that's it. Actual function and versatility as well as speed typing goes to Nuphy. Lofree is also not actually hotswapable. It only works with the other Lofree Switches (there's one)
I have owned the Nuphy variant for a few months now and after upgrading the caps to the nuphy all white set, and using cowberry switches.. tbh.. it sounds exactly like the lowfree, however with all of the other benefits that Nuphy provides. At this point.. to make it up to par.. the keyboard ends up costing you about 150$, vs. 120$. Better switches and better caps. It is nice however, that the offer of 120$ is there for others to have a more affordable option.
I love my nuphy, and am looking to upgrade to the 96% with my next one. One of the biggest things it offers for me is the up to 5 connected devices and the clicky switches (I know I am a monster)
Loved this video. Do the Kailh switches from the Lowfree fit in the Nuphy by chance? The killer feature for me with the Nuphy is the laptop compatible feet that rest between the keys. Makes typing on a laptop so much more enjoyable long term as I get finger fatigue from the low travel of laptop keyboards.
Hi Hipiyo, I really like you to answer a few things for us: 1. Can we fit nuphy keycaps on lofree (nuphy shine through) 2. Can we fit lofree switches in nuphy ? 3. Which among the lofree switches is better ? Phantom or ghost ? Looks like no company makes the ideal keyboard for office? Office keyboards should be ideally: 1. Low profile, quiet, yet tactile 2. Full size keyboard (like lofree flow 100/nuphy air96 v2) 3. Shine through keycaps with backlight for evening or late night work! Is this too much to ask for!
I have the lofree and got both the linear and tactile switches during the kickstarter campaign. I honestly can't tell the difference between the two switches other than the fact that the tactile is just a tiny bit more aggressive with the spring so I have to push a little harder. Other than that, the switches feel and sound amazing and it's going to really work well in the office since people hated my other mechanical keyboards. They were too noisy, too thocky, too clicky... just too loud. The lofree is just super duper creamy sounding when I put it on my desk mat. It's now my favorite travel and overall keyboard. My co-workers even commented that they now enjoy my typing and that the sound coming from it is so soothing.
8:30 mark, be a keyboard wizard and test all of them! I skip each and every ANSI board with passion, would love if there was a mention about possible ISO layouts.
Just got a Nuphy Air75 v2 a few days ago with the Moss switches. I'm used to typing on Pandas, and the extra actuation force on those make it a joy to type on when compared to any other Gateron switch, except maybe the Oil Kings, which also have that rather high bottom-out weight.
Great review, as ever. Love the Nuphy! And it also comes in a 96 key version! Yay! But...they are too noisy for my personal situation. I'd like something a bit better than my Logitech MX keys which works fine but has mono backlighting that turns off when you take your hand away...this can be a PITA when gaming in the dark - but it is quietish. I really want RGB shine through caps so I can set different groups of keys to different colors. Thock does not rock for me, though. Now, if I could quieten down the Nuphy to MX keys level, I'd be a happy chappy.
great video! I ordered a Lofree Flow with your code. It was shipped 3 weeks ago but has been stuck on the other side of the US for almost weeks. I contacted Lofree for shipping updates and they have been blowing me off. Just fyi in terms of customer service / trust
I've used Air75 for about 3 months now, and besides few bugs and a third-party-software-only reprogamming feature - it's great. I'm using gat browns 2.0 and honestly, they're mlles better than full size browns, although, gotta say, they need some lube as they're fairly loud. I absolutely enjoyed the versatility and comfort of this and I can't say I'm going back to non-low profile keebs anytime soon. comment section is going nuts about cowbells switches so I'll probably try them out too
I think the serious issue with Keychron is the vast gulf of difference in quality and performance between the regular K low profile range and the K-Pro. Honestly, I had a K1 (now at home) and I cant wait to bin it. My K1-Pro that I bought for work has been stock very nice with red switches for an office job. Needing a Numpad soon so hoping Keychron pull the thumb and make a southpaw K-Pro Low profile, or upgrade their K17 (Nuphy Air96) competitor to the 2.4ghz Max version. I prefer the look and layout of Keychron but Nuphy has been very tempting.
I quite like my Nuphy Air75 (V1). I got it from an auction house for $25 to serve as my work keyboard, and for that price it is an absolute steal. Mine has Gat Browns. I think they're actually pretty decent tactiles for the form factor, but I will probably switch them out someday. It feels and sounds good and the RGB is very pleasing.
Happy to see this video come out! I have the nuphy with cowberry switches and after a tape and extra foam mod it sounds slightly higher pitched than I would like but I still love it regardless. The main reason I chose nuphy was because of the 2.4ghz, big deal breaker for me.
I know this sounds silly, but because you owned two of the LP keyboards, why not try to use the POM switches to the Nuphy? I would love to know your thoughts because I never saw anybody try this before
Where was this two years ago when I purchased my NuPhy lol I was looking for another low profile 65-ish % wired/wireless mechanical keyboard since desk space is at a premium for me! I was one of the early adopters of the NuPhy 65, and the first thing that I did with mine was to replace the gateron reds that came with it. I know that I will be crucified when I say that after a few switch tests I replaced my NuPhy switches to cherry blues lol I don't know why, but I really like the slightly hollow clack of the blues, and as a career pianist, it's much more satisfying for me to type on a lower profile keyboard where effort and efficiency is prime. The cherry blue switches tell me exactly when the attack on a key has been triggered and the feedback allows me to not have to press as hard when typing faster for longer. I would now like to try the Lofree, but I have a decent custom Anne Pro II that sports gateron browns. I swap between the two every couple of weeks or so depening on how I feel. I enjoy the customizability of the NuPhy at a moment's notice, but you have turned me onto something very comparable for not too too much more! :-D
I had the Air65 v2 and I loved everything about it EXCEPT the fact I would always make typos while typing with it. I'm asking if any others have this issue? I have a feeling its due to its' non standard bottom row...
Monitor going all the way flat is actually nice, since you can engage the front edge of the base in a tablet-holder thingy and keep the make the laptop stand upright, keeping the monitor in line with other monitors on your desk for a multi-monitor setup while keeping the base out of way while using your own mouse and external keyboard.
Can you buy the Kailh switches and use them on the Nuphy? My current keyboard (MoErgo Glove80) is great for typing but I need something to game on. I have a Keychron K8 which I switch changed to some Novelkeys Sherbet switches. Again a wonderful keyboard to type on but the key travel is forever and they are quite stiff. I was thinking of picking up a low profile keyboard for gaming and I like the LoFree but would like the 2.4ghz option. Is it possible to have my cake and eat it too with some Kailh switches?
I have the Nuphy 75 but was looking into the Lofree; I'm at a new workspace and am trying to find a quiet low profile keyboard. My nuphy is a bit loud, and I have not made any mods to it (just don't have the energy to go down that road but maybe one day). I do love the nuphy - it's fun to type on and I love how portable it is, because sometimes I will take it out to a cafe and use it with my laptop stand to save my neck!
The search for a good wireless keyboard for my first apartment got me back into this hobby and watching your videos again. I even have the page for this keyboard on my bookmarks bar, so I am really excited to watch this video! In the end, I'll also be gaming with it, so I might just default to the Logitech G915 TKL.
Curious about the Machenike air50, it’s really ‘budget’ compared to these but the reviews seem really mixed with some reviewers having issues with lubrication and hotswapping.
9 months later comparing the Air V2 and the new Lofree Flow Light laughing so hard at Hipyo repeatedly mentioning the Lowfree not having "a big forehead".
I love the design of the Nuphy keyboards - I tried the 96 with Aloes but sadly I had the same experience as you - the keys were clacky and loud. I've yet to find a better keyboard than the Keychron K1 TKL with Optical Reds. The switches actuate in the middle before bottoming out, so it's super quiet if you type lightly. It's no THOC though - that Lofree sounds amazing. lol Cheers for the reviews!
Fellow Seattleite here and I’m only just becoming acquainted with the wide world of keyboards. I’ve always loved the sound of typing and I also ordered the NuPhy Halo75 V2 recently. I hope I don’t get addicted and end up with 50 keyboards by this time next year. 🤣
Me: "I should probably start saving money" *Watches Hipyo* also me: "Should I buy some switches and keycaps?" Ngl discovering Hipyo was both a blessing and curse...lol
I am in academia and do a lot of writing on my laptop. So, for people like me, a low-profile keyboard is much better for easy switching between laptop and keyboard. I would love to see a low-profile keyboard with a knob and a tiny screen on it :)
2 years ago, I bought my Keychron K3 and i just cant get tired of typing on it. The feel is smooth and sounds very clean. Wouldn't change it for any other keyboard, the only one im intrested on are the Air75 from Nuphy, they look sooo good! Definitely my next buy are gonne be those
Hey Hipyo! Just wanted to drop a line say that thanks to this video and your most recent beginner-friend-builds-a-keyboard video, my roommate and I finally dipped our toes into the hobby and did a combo order from NuPhy - she got the Gem80 and I got the Air75 v2 (with your affiliate link, of course, lol). Was leaning toward the LoFree initially, but even with the universally lauded typing feel, I just couldn't justify all the features you lose (VIA, 2.4Ghz, RGB, adjustable feet, mix-and-matching any color with any switch, etc.) vs. how much more it costs. Either way, appreciate the informative reviews, and congrats on the recent success with the AirUp vid!
I love my Nuphy, but only after I relubed the switches. I got a set of the moss and cowberry switches, and for both I had to lube them for it to sound and feel good.
Talking about lofree, please try the 1% series(I personally like the misty) It doesnt sound too good out of the box, but i want to see how it sound after customizing such as lube or crystal switches such as akko crystal switches.
I own a Nuphy Air75 and my friend owns a Lofree Keyboard. I do agree that the sound and feel of the Lofree is more appealing to me. That being said, I have enjoyed my options of switches from Nuphy (if you're wondering, you cannot use a Lofree switch in the Nuphy PCB and vice versa), they're in compatible. I like the different travel and weight options in the Nuphy lineup. If you ask me, I might trade it for a Lofree Flow for a limited amount of time.
In the hunt to replace my aging keyboard. I really like both these keyboards but I am leaning towards the Nuphy because of the better wireless performance and the qmk/via support. Switches can be changed although that is an additional cost.
I’ve put about a pound if silicone sheets into the bottom. Switched caps with those from XVX/Womier, less prone to typing mistakes because more space between them than originals. Sounds awesome for me now with Whisteria switches. Used the little included switch pack to swap space bar for a Moss switch.
Hey Hipyo! Would Kailh ghost switches work with nuphy air 75? Also which ones would you recommend? (Ghost or phantom) I want good and silent typing experience (Currently have nuphy air 75 v1 with whisteria)
I have the Grey Air75 v1 with a case and love it. I also swapped out the switches with Aloe and the caps with their Black Shine Through and now love it even more (more the caps than the switches. LP switches are much the same than different IMO).
I hope the mould situation is in control! I was hoping for you to test out the new cowberry and moss switches. The moss switches had a very deep sound in their video, and I am thinking about getting an Air 60 with them or the free flow. Well, guess I have to figure that out myself :)
Any opinion on which is overall quieter? I’m looking for a low profile mechanical keyboard to take to work that won’t drive my coworkers around me insane
Would love to see someone try filing full size keycaps down to fit a low profile board, as I have a lovely set of keys but a slim board would be more convenient...
maybe a stupid question... I'm new to this. So, the Lofree doesn't have a lot of keycap options right? And Nuphy has more options right? Do the Nuphy caps fit the Lofree?? Or for example, I am currently using a Keychron K3... very boring. Is it possible to buy Nuphy caps and put them on the Keychron K3??
So, I bought an air96 v2 with the cowberry linear switches, a box of wisterias, and a nice oceanside cap set, set up the switches to be a mix of linear and tactile, swapped the caps, and now I have a problem/question I now have a set of keys and switches for a low profile board - are there any low profile bare PCB/frames that I can install these lovely gaterons into and build my wife a keyboard? Also, some feedback - It'd be nice to know when you review a keyboard not only if it's wired/wireless/bluetooth, but if the keyboard has a built in space to store the 2.4ghz dongle - the nuphy does not and that kinda annoys me. this finally made me break down and replace my venerable, clacky, dated feeling (but still 100% working like a champ) custom maxkeyboards board from nearly 15 years ago. I still kinda feel like I betrayed it. it worked fine, had the custom mix of red/brown/black switches placed strategically and a custom fixed LED color that I loved. Maybe I'll take the time to do it some justice - convert to USB-C, foam mod it, and solder in some new, better switches.
I tried a couple keychron low profile keyboard, and they are by no means feels more premium than Nuphy. With that saying, I'd love to try the new Lofree edge keyboard. Do you have that and are you planning to make a video on that?
I got the NupHy air 75 V2 with cowberry switches after I heard them. They are slightly less amazing than I expected, but still fall in the amazing category. I don't know if they are for everyone, but for a travel companion for my laptop, that keyboard feels great. Does not fit perfectly for my laptop in terms of not touching any keys, so I have to lift 1 leg stand. I think this keyboard is mostly aimed at 14 inch laptops.
Nuphy Air60 is compatible with mac keyboards. Meaning, that when you put it on top of your MacBook keyboard, its slim feet will nicely fit between MacBook keys and you can have nice typing experience on it.
I’m not a huge low profile keyboard guy (I also prefer full travel mx style switches over long pole), but I will say, for the masses I’m surprised that we’re still stuck on using polycarbonate topped switches in so many prebuilts. I really think the vast majority of folks buying prebuilts would much prefer something like a gateron milky top housing (which would still support some RGB shine through) or an opaque full nylon or POM top housing. It surely can’t be cost holding them back (gateron milky yellows are some of the cheapest available). Hope that at some point there’s at least more options for more non-polycarb top switches in the prebuilt space!
Not sure how they compare to Lofree, but the stabilizers in my Air 75v2 are absolutely amazing and I think that is huge and typically something that is overlooked on cheaper options
Another feature that nuphy low profile keyboards have is that they can fit snugly on laptop keyboards without pressing down keys. Currently using a nuphy air 60 to "replace" my mac butterfly keys
I have the Keychron K1SE and I’ve had it for a few years (bought on sale) but only recently started using it after my main keeb ran into issues. I really can’t stand it, there is nothing good about it. I can’t wait for my replacement to arrive. My broken keyboard sits aside on my desk so I can happily press the keys every now and again.
I’ve been considering the lolfree for a while now but the backlight shine through on the key caps is SO BAD that I’ve refused out of principle so far. My search for the perfect low profile keyboard continues.
What if you put the Kailh Phantom switches in the Nuphy Air V2 and did some simple mods? Could you make it feel like the Lofree Flow but with the customization and wireless benefits?
I have a Keychron S1, might be worth checking that out or the K series low profile. The S1 seems like an in between on the Nuphy and Tofree since it has the gaterons but on the all metal board. Nice board I’ve been enjoying it

@@koobs4549 which switch do you recommend?
I recently began the speed typing hobby and it's insane how low profiles can help you become a better typist
great!
The less travel you have on the keys the faster you will type. For speed typing its hard to beat the apple Magic Keyboard
@@kkollsga I'm a professional typist, I know all about the Apple Magic. But it's FAR from the best keyboard out there
Could you please suggest some in the price range of magic keyboard and better than magic Keyboard

I have Lofree Flow white combined with XVX normcore for backlit. I can’t fullfil my desire to type no matter how long I type. I love it
I bought a Lofree Flow after seeing your original video on it and I have to say, its fantastic; got it on sale for around 120 USD and I've been really impressed by it.
@@billythecat for gaming, presumably you want linears to have the most responsive experience (although in reality it wont matter much)
Low profile probably wont help with RSI, you may want to look at split ergonomic keyboards
I am interested in trying Lofree, but is it true that Lofree Flow didn't have key customization?
Because I usually use 75% and already used to using numpad with fn + bnm row.
It was me - *I* was the mold 😶
Been seeing this a lot about nuphy, thanks for the heads up. Have you had any issues with the LoFree connection wise?
@@BEDHEAD947 Honestly I'm a gamer.. so Bluetooth doesn't provide a fast enough polling rate for me. I've been using it with a cord. The main reason the Nuphy was such a disappointment was because I was hoping the 2.4 ghz dongle would let me leave the cord behind.
There’s no image of the complete set of Coffee Shop PBT Keycaps. Is there any image of the content somewhere? 3:38

I believe the Nuphy is only compatible with Gaterons and not Kalihs
@@freddytrades Oof. Okay. Good to know. Thanks for saving me from a dumb purchase!
I just got my Lofree about 2 weeks ago and I’m glad to report they fixed the “shine through” Keycaps and all the other issues people were having like the weird dent in the back and gaps and whatnot. I have had 0 problems with it!
And yes, I did get the linear switches so it’s the board that’s silver with white Keycaps
The Keychron K3 Max has an ISO variant and 2.4GHz but I haven't tried it so I can't vouch for it.
Would love to see the lofree get an update with 2.4ghz. Would honestly be a hands down winner for travel for a keyboard nerd 😁
Agreed!!
Great vid, would love a review of the K MAX series
hell yeah - good to see you back with proper keyboard content
That's why I bought both Nuphy and Lofree. I LOVE typing and sound experience from Lofree but I also enjoy Nuphy's options. I like them both.
Khail switches won't fit into Nuphy board unfortunately.
Please show me if the NuPhy cover can be used well with LoFree
Hi Hipiyo, I really like you to answer a few things for us:
1. Can we fit nuphy keycaps on lofree (nuphy shine through)
2. Can we fit lofree switches in nuphy ?
3. Which among the lofree switches is better ? Phantom or ghost ?
Looks like no company makes the ideal keyboard for office? Office keyboards should be ideally:
1. Low profile, quiet, yet tactile
2. Full size keyboard (like lofree flow 100/nuphy air96 v2)
Hey, that's me in the video. Thank you for that Hipyo! Great video, per usual. ♥
Just fyi in terms of customer service / trust
damn where are you located?
I would love to know your thoughts because I never saw anybody try this before
They are not compatible due to the placement of the pins being different, unfortunately.
Probably your best video, the jokes were super good in this one lol
Have you checked out the Minisforum mechanical keyboard? Very nice feel, very nice build and very versatile.
Ok, I typically do not get any laughter out of keyboard review videos, but you had me laughing out loud, great stuff.
Poor Johnsfilms is never going to escape from the forehead jokes lol
Just got one but the air96 switches sometimes get stuck :/ think it’s dried lube or smth
Me: "I should probably start saving money"
*Watches Hipyo* also me: "Should I buy some switches and keycaps?"
Ngl discovering Hipyo was both a blessing and curse...lol
Hi Hipyo tech I love your keyboard vids, also I liked and subscribed!
Definitely my next buy are gonne be those
Oh you should try the Nuphy Halo96 next! Or any other Halo. I think you'll like the switches on those! The ghost bar feels nice too
Did Nuphy get hacked? Just tried going to their website and looks like they don’t have a certificate
Enjoyed the comparison style! Great video. Funny too ☺️
In the hunt to replace my aging keyboard.
Used the little included switch pack to swap space bar for a Moss switch.
wondering if you been keeping up with Work Louder. Their Nomad [e] low profile board should be shipping at the end of seconds quarter this year.
Hey Hipyo! Would Kailh ghost switches work with nuphy air 75? Also which ones would you recommend? (Ghost or phantom) I want good and silent typing experience (Currently have nuphy air 75 v1 with whisteria)
I don't think Kailh switches work with nuphy?
I have the Grey Air75 v1 with a case and love it. I also swapped out the switches with Aloe and the caps with their Black Shine Through and now love it even more (more the caps than the switches. LP switches are much the same than different IMO).
Who knew that footage of the fashion show with the wooting keyboard would be so multipurpose.
Hey, if you're reviewing low profile keyboards now, please review the Monokei Systems!!!
Great shout. I've seen solid reviews from some bigger publications on it, and it's a relatively new one too.
I hope the mould situation is in control!
I was hoping for you to test out the new cowberry and moss switches. The moss switches had a very deep sound in their video, and I am thinking about getting an Air 60 with them or the free flow. Well, guess I have to figure that out myself :)
I like the comparison videos!
Any opinion on which is overall quieter? I’m looking for a low profile mechanical keyboard to take to work that won’t drive my coworkers around me insane
I just recently upgraded from the Apple Magic Keyboard to the Nuphy Air96. I had no idea what I was missing out on!
So, I bought an air96 v2 with the cowberry linear switches, a box of wisterias, and a nice oceanside cap set, set up the switches to be a mix of linear and tactile, swapped the caps, and now I have a problem/question
I now have a set of keys and switches for a low profile board - are there any low profile bare PCB/frames that I can install these lovely gaterons into and build my wife a keyboard?
